Products Used:
Talon, Tested Tippmans
Marker Setup: I bought it basic, i upgraded it with a 14 inch barrel decided it was to long and got a 12 inch then bought a drop forward with expansion chamber also a venteri bolt, velocity adjuster, and bever sight rail ( amost usless but cool) and an electronic hopper, thinkin bout gettin an electronic trigger fram but i dont know if i wanna spend the money on it. A Tippman model 98 might be better.
Recommended
Upgrades:
Prolly get a barrel, thats all you really need, but drop forward is really nice to; helps you peek around corners bettter
Strengths: unexspencive, easy to clean rather than the tippmans, i hardly get any chopped balls, lots of upgrades
Weaknesses: The sight rail is useless but most people dont take the time to aim anyways also i dont think its acceracy is great but maybe its just me i have never really used any other guns so i cant compare the accceracy .
Conclusion: Good gun, good for begginers or experts i would check out a tippman and compare then before i bought it

just about everything out there...so im not going to list those
Marker Setup: an upgraded piranha g2 vtl, a 2002 rebel, and a tippmann model 98 custom with a 16' taso winforce barrel........
Recommended
Upgrades:
expansion chamber, longer barrel, new trigger frame (i reccomend getting an electric one and making it fully auto)
Strengths: -cheap
-accurate with new barrel
-doesnt chop very much
-very upgradeable
-not an air hog
-can become decent if you know how to upgrade it
-not made out of plastic
-i guess it looks cool....
Weaknesses: -bad trigger frame
-doesnt like zapp or brass eagle paint
-the feed
Conclusion: i bought this gun as a newbie and it worked fine at first but then the sear kept breaking....i replaced is 3 times and now its broken again so im just going to get a whole new electric trigger frame and make it fully auto because im so pissed off at it.....get this gun if you dont have much money and your new to the sport but expect that youll have to put a lot of money in it to make it really good...if you have more money to waste then get a tippmann....there not that expensive and they last forever.................

pro ts g3
Marker Setup: stock but with 12 volt revvy and 32 degrees coiled remote
Recommended
Upgrades:
foregrip
Strengths: i originally used a stingray, just playing on saturdays for about two years, then i bought the VTL for like 90 bucks on the internet. It was the best decision i ever made. THe gun was like a sniper rifle compared to my stingray. After using it for about a year and a half i had only one problem with it, the cup seal went out on it, which was a very easy fix, considering it comes with a spair. About three months ago i wanted to upgrade but found it too expensive for me to seperately buy all of the ugrades i wanted so i just bought a whole new marker, a pro TS g3. And as far as teh all around performance is conserned they are both very good guns. I have heard a lot abouut them leaking but im sure thats just because the people were not smart enought to realize that the cup seal needs to be cleaned so it can seal to a good clean and smooth surface
Weaknesses: the only thing bad about this gun is that, well nothign, they have awesome customer service, and the only thing that ever went wrong with it was hte cup seal,

I can think of one thing i didnt like, the fact that to adjust the velocity u have to use an allen wrench, i much mroe like my thumb adjust, but i guess that is why you are able to get such a good gun for suvh a good price
Conclusion: all in all the best gun i have ever used for the money, 90 bucks, thats less then some stingrays at wal mart, and this gun is completely upgradeable. When i first started using it i felt like i was superman and could never be shot because this gun was so awesome compared to the spyder compacts that were runnign around on the field with me.

A great gun for a newbie who wants to learn, as well as a great gun for neone who likes a light, compact, and easily maneuverable gun with relatively good accuracy and reliability

Ill give it a nine because nothing is perfect, but this gun is as close as they come in my opinion, especiall since, as i mentioned, it was 90 bucks.

New Barrel
botimline, x-chamber not really needed cause of xcelent internals and consistancy
Strengths: This gun is excelent. Plain and simple.

This gun is the most upgradeable on the market. It can be upgraded to a fully auto with an etrigger and a revolution hopper.
with no upgrades i can shoot around 5 bps with no breaks or jams.
Weaknesses: The stick barrel is pretty good. But only for a stock barrel (unless you buy from armson couse it comes with a stealth Deadly accurate))
Conclusion: Buy this Gun weather beginner, or expert who wants to chose his own upgrade parts.

Upgrades:
Expansion chamber and bottom line
Strengths: shoots fairly straight
looks good
easy to break down
cleaning was very easy
Weaknesses: had air problem
air filters break down
Conclusion: This was my first marker. I bought it with the package. I put an expansion chamber on it and a bottom line.
This one gave me nothing but trouble. I had air trouble ever since I owned it. Finally I had to replace the bolt and all the trouble disappeared.

Since I was having trouble with it. I bought another one to see if I just had a defective item and that was the thing.

The second one that I bought was alot cheaper than the first and had no problems with it.

Review: Strength
This gun is a realy accurate gun that comes stock. It can aslo rapid fire realy fast and not break any balls. As long as you keep it oiled and take care of it this is a great gun for a newbie.

Weakness
This gun has some problems with leaking co2 . When ever you just put the tank on it starts to leak instintly somtimes the leaking will go away somtimes it doesn't . It also double feeds balls pretty bad too making it real hard too hit people because they will only shoot like 3 feet in front of you. I had also one time had it fee out 5 balls in one shot this happned some how but i am unsure why.

Conclusion: Over all this gun is not all that bad and would be good for a newbie but no one else. This gun has some small things that are bad but other than that it is a pretty reliable gun.

In the end i would have to give this gun a 9 out of ten a 9 being as that it works amazing most of the time but requires alot of maitnence for it to do so.

Bad stock barrel
Review: This was my first gun and it would not stop breaking. I had it for six months after I bought it and the sear would not stop breaking. I'm pretty sure it broke three or four times. I think PMI has now fixed this problem and I just got an older model but I am not entirely sure. My friends Piranha does not have a bad trigger frame but it got clogged with paint after a while and it got so bad that you couldn't even cock it. He also has some air problems with the bottomline.

Alright well there's the bad things I've had with mine and my friends. The good things about this gun is that the upgrades are really cheap. Not nearly as expensive as a Tippmann's. The performance is decent for the price when it works right.
Conclusion: I say do not get this gun unless you want to keep fixing it. Get a Tippmann they are much more reliable.

Review: I have used this gun for a month now it has not failed me once. Also, it can have almost any upgrade. I like this because it is light, doen't break, and dont forget it looks pretty cool. Overall, I would buy it if I were a newbie of an expert.
Conclusion: It's cheap and reliable for both newbies and experts!

Review: This is the first gun I have ever shot and I give it credit for getting me into the sport. Its an alright gun. I played against my friend that owns this gun and it works fine. In the year that hes had it its only broke once, and thats mostly his fault so thats good enough for me. When we play it usually takes him 3 or 4 shots before he finally gets me. With my Xtra I could hit him the first time. Hes picked me off when my shirt was blowin in the wind past a tree. The trigger pull is sweet. Its wicked short and wicked light. I absoutly hate the powerfeed because it's out of the way and I hate it on every gun. Thats one of the reasons I bought my Xtra even though its a little more but it was worth it. His gun also breaks a few paintballs in colder weather. It doesn't have a bottomline so the CO2 just feeds directly into the gun. This isnt very efficient, it isnt good for your gun, and your hand gets cold from holding the tank all game.
Conclusion: I would recommend this to a beginner who wants to learn how to take apart a gun and if they break them they are cheap so you can buy a new one anyways

Marker Setup: -Piranha VTL G2
-VL revy 12v
-Expainsion chamber
-14 inch JT Barrel
Recommended
Upgrades:
Look above - excluding the revvy
Strengths: This gun has done me magic. I luv it. This gun did me much good when paintballing. It kicked all those cockers and angels butt!!! This is a great gun for beginner to intermediate players. Although the gun is just another blowback semi, the trigger is great! Most triggers are extremely far, but this one is a lot closer than normal. Great gun. Best gun i have ever used when i was a newbie. and one more thing...IT DOESN'T CHOP BALLS!!!!!!!(not all the time, i should say) Thats whats great about this gun.
Weaknesses: ~Kinda heavy ( doesnt matter though)
~A Pain to take apart and put back together
~Burns through O-rings like crazy
~Sometimes, when you put in brand new O-rings, it runs on [Meaning it sounds like a machine-gun, and it chops the balls(rarly, though)]
Conclusion: This is a great gun! Great price. It has served me well, and it will serve you well.
