It does everything it says it does. Ive noticed a good effenciy difrence. Ive noticed people giving this a bad review because it dosnt fix their first shot drop off. Well no where does it say it will help it at all. It says it allows u to dry fire and improves you effenciy. Then only product that is advertised ot improve FSDO is the Slick Shot ram.
Weaknesses:
It was a little pain to install because i dont think the instructions had enough detail in them.
Conclusion:
A well made product. Duffently buy this or a tape worm for your gun because they do the same thing.

Strengths:
Does everything it says. It eliminates the guns kick, and helps air flow, consistency. Is one of the few upgrades you can buy for an impulse that will make your gun perform 100%% better. A good investment, not expensive either. Under $50.
Weaknesses:
Adjusting needed more than once. Your max flo will need to be adjusted for about 5 minutes while you are shooting the gun.
Conclusion:
hey jimd12271, maybe the reason it didnt work so well for you, is because you're using a 4500 psi tank and you have an expansion chamber on your gun. Now tell me, what does an e-chamber do with nitrogen? Expansion chambers only give the nitrogen more space to dwell, it doesnt do anything. if anything on your gun was a waste of money, it was the expansion chamber. This is a great product, i'd recommend it, but first id recommend a tapeworm. Tapeworms are awesome.

Strengths:
It does what it says it does. It stops bolt sticking and like the other review below me, it eliminates the first shot drop. I'm very happy with the bolt not sticking, that was worth it all together. I'm not sure how it conserves air, but we'll see...
Weaknesses:
You have to adjust your dwell, otherwise you will be skipping shots when you fire fast. when you start to fire faster than about 5-7 balls a second you chop them, and you skip shots.
Conclusion:
it is good for the cash, i want to try the smart parts tap worm out and compare them, but for now this is very good for the 25 bucks that i have paid for it. I would have to say it is a must for anyone with a impy.
The first thing that i noticed that had improved was the first shop drop was removed, im havent exactly noticed a better air efficiency, but i wasnt paying that much attention to it.

Nothin really bad about it, the price is cheap and it does what it says
Conclusion:
Overall this product stands up to what it says, dont be fooled into having a shop put this in for you for extra cash, the procedure is VERY simple. Oh yeh and a not to all those players with the newer impy's the directions takl about a "grub" but on the newer impys they have removed it.

Everything.... the other two guys who reviewed this are nuts. 30 bucks and almost zero improvement on the first shot drop. I won't get into the 30 additional dollars I spent attempting to seal the grup screw on the bottom of the gun. Complete nightmare with no benfit.
Conclusion:
Save your money this thing is a piece of junk....... buy the New Designs HPV it's amazing. The HPV completely fixed the first shot drop and finally sealed the grup screw. I was able to replace the eclipse and also ended up with a standard ASA hookup. Removed the bulls** gas through grip and installed the Sub Zero and it rocks......
