The thick elastic waistband will keep your DYE Slide Shorts from sliding down
around your ankles. Thick side padding helps prevent bunker rash when making that grandiose slide
into your sweet spot. Anti-bacterial vented crotch area will help keep your army at full strength for
when you need them most. The no-slip grip in the legs keeps the shorts from sliding up and prevents
the “natural wedgie”.
Product Availability
The Dye Slide Shorts are older, so while they may be available used and in a few cases new, they are not commonly available anymore.

Marker Setup:
Matrix (LED w/ pushbutton) with AA Messiah @ sub-200psi input. AA Armageddon 68ci 4500psi, no drop forward, set at 800psi.
Palmer Cocker same, except AA Vigilante @ 325psi input.
Lapco barrels (AS or BS depending on paint size). 12V Revies.
Strengths:
Padding is excellent but not so thick that it interferes with sprinting. Mesh in some areas keeps it breathable.
Like the previous reviewer, don't buy these shorts too tight. I went up one size larger than normal and the fit is very good.
Quality construction.
Can be machine washed (but don't throw it in the dryer).
Weaknesses:
It has a cheap, thin pad that's suppose to act as a cup. The pocket to hold it is too small to hold a proper cup, even a foam one. So, to use a decent cup, you end up having to use a jock strap anyway. I was hoping that the DYE slider shorts would allow me to do away with the jock strap, but no luck.
Price is too high.
Conclusion:
Provides good hip and thigh protection without being instrusive. Breathable and comfy if you get the correct size. Machine washable.
Pouch for crotch protection too small for a proper cup. Expensive.
Good product, but pricey and you end up using a cup and strap anyway.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:
I bought them like a size too small, still fit tho...
Review:
I was sick of getting grass burns on my legs and thighs from sliding, and so I figured I'd check out some slide shorts. I picked up the DYE slide shorts at the Phila NPPL open and have worn them since and have no idea how I ever slid without them. The padding is amazing and you can't feel a THING when sliding. These shorts are amazing, but having no other pair to compare them to, I can't give them a 10.
Conclusion:
I would definately reccomend slide shorts, even if you don't get the DYE ones. These are ESSENTIAL for a front player!
Dark Angel LCD, Angel A.I.R. , JT Barrel Set. (Does it really matter)
Strengths:
These slider shorts are very well made. Stiching is great and the pads are were you want them. The pad for the family jewls isn't all that bad, but where the shorts excel is the thingh padding and waist elastic. The pads are great for the front player who runs 100mph and slides. These provide as much protection as possible for the tought situations. The waist elsatic is thick so it fits you snugh and wont move around on you.
Weaknesses:
Honestly i can't think of anything.
Conclusion:
These things plain out rip. Exception quality and everything works as supposed. I didnt buy this for the added "cup" i got them for the thing padding. the foam "cup" give ample protection for a shot in the jewls. Strongly recomend for front players.
