WGP BOSS X-Raider
32 Degrees 14" Whisper Barrel
Otherwise stock |
Recommended Upgrades: |
You definitely need a new barrel (It's threaded like a SPYDER, not a 'cocker!) |
| Strengths: |
Regulator built-in
Includes hard case (Or, at least, mine did)
Sturdy metal double-trigger.
Awesome looking gun.
Stock barrel looks sweet on the gun, and seems to fire nicely for most people.
It takes spyder parts (so they're readily avaliable), and comes with a lot of things that would normally be upgrades (bottomline, drop forward, regulator, etc).
Quick-strip pin.
The grip is fantastic. |
| Weaknesses: |
Gas-through grip / Regulator gets in the way easily. It comes in "southpaw position," but it can easily be fixed up for righties. Unfortunately, it won't fit quite as snugly in the case if this is done.
The safety fell out. Now I use a decapitated screwdriver.
It's pretty loud.
I got the barrel with the gun, so firing the stock barrel was really just a test. A ball broke in the barrel the third shot, though for most people, the stock barrel is apparently very good. Oh well.
WGP seems reluctant to admit (on their site, anyway) that they even make this 'gun. |
| Conclusion: |
The first thing that I noticed when I picked up this 'gun was that it had a very, very solid and sturdy feel. For some undefinable reason, it felt very good to hold this 'gun.
It has its quirks, as everything in existance does. However, I must conclude with this simple summary:
I love this gun. |

| Strengths: |
Good to go out of box
Easy strip
Easy to upgrade
Double trigger |
| Weaknesses: |
Spyder threaded-its a WGP, not a spyder.
Thats All |
| Review: |
Ok, the B.O.S.S. X-raider is not the most popular gun, and WGP doesn't even claim it exists, at least not on their web site.
Out of the box, the gun is good to go, no real ups needed.
I recommend a drop if your using a large tank, like my 72/3000 STEEL tank, but its not needed.
Also, the stock barrel isnt too bad, but upgrade the barrel if you want to shoot a little straighter and farther, but watch out, its spyder threaded, not cocker threaded. |
| Conclusion: |
All in all, a sturdy gun, a good price, i got 2 for $100, i would recommend it to a new user for a first gun, and to an experienced player, as a mechanical backup. |

I have used the Spyder compact( does not compare, $100.00 cheaper), Winchester durango( piece of poo, also 1/4 the price), Brass eagle Tigershark( It's a pump, but nonetheless its a very quality marker) 32* Rebel delux (It is an ok gun, but my friend has had alot of trouble with it) Tippmann m98( Nice trigger pull, but very hard to take apart, also broke on me one day after I got it.) |
| Marker Setup: |
WGP B.O.S.S. System X-Raider, 16" Armson Stealth barrel, 14" In Yo Face(local company) stock, 20 oz. with smart parts on/off valve, 12v revy w/X-Board. |
Recommended Upgrades: |
An Armson stealth barrel will do wonders for accuracy, you definatly need a 12v revy. spend the $10.00 extra for the X-Board. |

| Strengths: |
I have already made a review, but I had only had the gun for a couple days, so this will be a little more rounded out.... What's good about this gun? Most everything. It comes with a pretty accurate barrel, very comfy grips, not like most spyder "panel" grips, it's all aluminum, including the gripframe, unlike the piranha line, it comes with the same reg that is on the STO, easy to strip down, which is very nice 'cause I chopped a ball and it got all over the bolt, and I had to clean it there or else I wouldn't be able to play any more that day. So I popped out the back, cleaned the bolt, put it back in, and I was good to go. You can shoot pretty fast, but I personally think that the trigger pull is a little to long. WGP has very good costumer service, you will find out why on the next column. I like the feel because it's not to light. This is good and bad, because I think that light guns feel cheap with, but with a stock, fully loaded 12v hopper, and 20 oz. tank, it starts to get heavy:(. I comes with a drop forward, looks GREAT! and it comes with a hard case, thats neat expect now with the stock, it does not fit the gun. |
| Weaknesses: |
Well these issues have been fixed as the came along, but first the vert feed comes loose once and a while, but all you need is some light loc-tite to put on the screws, and it while hold on. I was playing and someone called timeout, so I put my safety on, and guess what? it fell out. but I called WGP and they sent me a new one, no questions asked. It turns out that the factory forgot to put the safety berring in. The gun will chop paint unless you have a revy. Once the triiger got stuck, but I haven't been able to figure out why. |
| Conclusion: |
It's a great gun made buy a great company. It's alot like a spyder but it lookes better. Not many people have it, so it will be a real eye opener a the field. Who could ask for more! |

I have a X Raider by WGP. I put a new 14 in. barrel on it. I also use compressed air with a 12 volt hopper. The gun is as fast as my fingers! |
Recommended Upgrades: |
I have been playing on a weekly basis and use about 1000 rounds each time.
My main recommendation is get a new barrel and don't use cheap paint |
| Strengths: |
This gun is great over all. It's a real nice package.
FAST & ACCURATE.
| Weaknesses: |
When buying this product the magazines said it was autococker threading for the barrel. When I got the gun and a few weeks later went to buy a new barrel I found out it's NOT.
It's Spyder threaded. Isn't that false advertising??????
I really liked that this gun was made by WGP. I thought if I got this gun now - all the upgrades I bought could be used for the Autococker I will get in the future. I guess I can't use the barrels.
Like everyone else said, get a motorized hopper and don't use cheap paint.
| Conclusion: |
It's a great gun for the price! I just wish that the barrels where Autococker threaded.

This is my third gun and I found it at the amazing price of 30$ on eBay. I do not think it should be classed low-end as it is clearly superior to spider's,32 degrees, etc. Buy it if you are going to put a bottom line kit and it will kick butt. |
| Conclusion: |
This is one good gun and you should get it while you still can. |

| Review: |
I have used a lot of different semi auto gun and this is one of the best. Once a new barrel is on it it is very accurate. I was shooting from about 100 feet away and it hit the target 9 out of 10 times.this gun also shoots very fast. I can shoot it about 10bps. My real only complaint is that the gun is very loud but that is not a big deal. |
| Conclusion: |
Overall this gun is great for a beginner or someone who goes casually it does all the basic things really well with a lot of good standard stuff. It will also keep up with alot of electric guns. |

| Strengths: |
Accuracy, Looks, it takes spyder parts except trigger frames |
| Weaknesses: |
Took me a while to get working, read below to find out how to. |
| Review: |
It can be very accurate with a new barrel, it doesn't have to be a really good one, a smatparts progressive will work great
Too get it to work if your having problems with it not recocking, first make sure you have plenty of air, then oil up the bolt and try it , if it still isn't recococking, then you need to take out the bolt and put on new O-rings on it, then reoil it and it should work. |
| Conclusion: |
great gun, great price, get it, it's way better than spyders tippmanns and piranahs |

WGP B.O.S.S. X-raider w/20oz CO2, need new barrel, though stock not too bad. |
Recommended Upgrades: |
None, mabe elctro hopper and barrel,(if you want) |
| Strengths: |
Fairly accurate, light, well made, fun to shoot. |
| Weaknesses: |
Screws are bit loose, tighten them and you should be fine. |
| Review: |
I used this gun for quite a while, without a full hopper and air on gun, it is compartivly light to other guns. This gun could easily keep up with other guns on the market. Including Autocockers and angels. Mabe swap the reg with something that works, mine seems dead, but it could be user error. get electro trigger, a new barrel, and there will not be a whole lot out there that is much better than this gun. I prefer side feed, since I tend to aim from the top of the gun, but I have adjusted to use side of gun, though I cant find a side feed attachment to replace the Vert. feed. I do think they could at least acknowledge on the Worr website that this gun even exists. Plus the barrel is spyder threaded instead of 'cocker threads. Dont know about anybody else but thats odd to me. |
| Conclusion: |
I give this a gun a 9 out of 10 due to some of the inconveiniences of having to completly inspect the construction, I.E. the screws holding the the thing together. Otherwise, this marker is extremely fun to shoot, accurate, and in my price range. |
