This e-dot sight uses the same technology employed by fighter aircraft to achieve fast target acquisition. The 30 mm compact Model (ECB, shown) is a versatile sight for a variety of shooting sports. It fits 3/8 inch or 7/8 inch mounts. Its compact design provides an even greater field of view than other 30 mm sights.
Product Availability
The Adco E-Dot is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Strengths: The sight is compact with very good lens protection in the form of two caps attached to each other by bungee like string. It feels solid and attaches with two adjustable scope type bases that can be moved forward or rearward along the body of the scope. The windage and elevation adjustments are covered by two little black aluminum caps to protect them. Sight picture is vey good, and distortion with protective caps in place is minimal. I believe it has 11 intensity adjustments for verying light conditions. Service from ADCO is excellent, they answer their e-mails and often you will end up getting the owner when you e-mail them. They also stand by their guarantee, and will replace/repair damaged sights free of charge, with no hassle. The sight is easy to adjust and can be dialed in rather quickly.
Weaknesses: I have a Tippmann 98, and I found it did not fit the sight rail, or the raised Lapco sight rail easily, and took some time to jockey it on there. It also will not fit on narrow sight rails and cannot be adjusted to do so. On the 98 it also kept the 9v Revolution a little out of line.
Conclusion: It works very well for paintball, allowing you some nice one-shot hits. It can take a hit from a paintball with no problem. I would say it is worth what it cost, although the price is rather high for a sight that will be dedicated to paintball. I would reccommend it to anyone, if it isn't too high to fit on their gun.
