I have an RT and this thing just rocks!!!!! The day i got it, i had lots of trouble breaking paint and dirtying up my power feed/barrel. But, i bought a 32 degrees carbon fiber, and wow what a difference. The stock barrel is crap! Once you get used to the Reactive Trigger in the RT, you are totally kickin' ass!!! It took me about 1 week to get used to the trigger. But another good thing is that its a Mag, you can dry fire this thing like crazy!!! This gun is nice and small, and the recommended cleaning way is dry firing under water!!! What is easier matenence than this? 3 days after i got it, i wanted to throw it out, but then i got the hang of the trigger by dry firing it about 100 times. I love this gun, and once you get the hang of it, stay patient with this marker, for in the long run, you will be truly impressed.
Weaknesses:
Running it off Compressed air/Nitro empties out my wallet. Sometimes you get some high numbers on the Chrony. Their is a special way to chrony this marker but still!!! Heavy, and with an airtank, its slightly bulkier than i would like it to be. I wouldn't wanna go through that first week i had it again!!!
Conclusion:
I insist you get this gun. It puts the fun back into shooting. Putting a Z-Grip on this gun and you will be laughing at guys RUNNING to the dead zone cuz their is 20 rounds coming at them in 3 seconds. By far better than any electronic markers. And this is all manual!!!!
- Very, very fast. Even if you can't shoot fast, you'll be able to with this gun.
- Easy to maintain. Not a complicated gun.
- Pretty easy to clean
- Reliable
- Reactive Trigger!
- Very purtty. =)
- High quality gun.
Weaknesses:
- Heavy
Conclusion:
Recommendations:
- Get an ANS foamie bolt.
- Get a new barrel.
- Get a VL 12v hopper!!!
I've owned Spyders, Autocockers and a SP Shocker S/F. By
far, I have enjoyed the RT more than all the others. From
an engineering perspective, this marker is built from
quality materials with precision manufacturing processes.
Its easy to maintain and has great visual appeal. I have a
1.5 x 4 scope mounted on the rail and when matched with the
right paint and barrel, this marker is dead on accurate,
shot after shot. I've modified the trigger sear fulcrum
point so that the marker will fire by gently touching the
trigger, with little or no play. The ROF with the reative
trigger is faster than my shocker...without all the broken
balls and sputtering.
Weaknesses:
For some users, the weight may be a drawback.
Conclusion:
Absolutely a best buy. This marker has the feel of quality
throughout. No sloppy, loose fitting parts like the other
markers. I've been using Custom Parts, Dye and Lapco
barrels with the RT. Barrel lengths run 12 to 16 inches.
All perform well with the right paint. Personally, I use a
gas through stock and remote. Air is supplied by a 114CI
tank.
Rt pro. I've also owne cockers, timmies, shockers, and others. Ive shot imps, angels..........
Marker Setup:
Level Ten Rt, 14 Inch all american barrel, Z-grip, benchmark/intelli hybrid, Warp feed, Flatline 3k/68ci nitro tank, 12 volt revvy.
Recommended Upgrades:
New barrel. Stock is uber loud. Intelli frame, revvy, LEVEL TEN!!!
z-grip if you've tried it and it suits you.
Strengths:
-Bragging rights. There is no marker faster.
- insane speed, and easy to bounce
- very accurate
- has a nice solid look to it
- intimidates n00bs with its sheer paintslinging capabilities
- very reliable
- low profile
Weaknesses:
- pretty heavy
- gas hog- takes round 850 psi to run with LX
- you pretty much need an adjustable tank
- its not exactly easy to clean
- stock parts suck.
- chops like a blender without a Level x
- chops like jason without level x
-chops like... i dont know what... without level X
GET LX!!
Conclusion:
The rt is a fantastic gun and is quite cheap nowadays. It is the fastest marker on the planet as of today (and has been for years).. but im sure that will change tomorrow.
1) The rate of fire is incredible.
2) It's look are cool, kind of like a machine gun.
3) Airgun Designs customer service is great, always willing to help.
Weaknesses:
1) Stock barrel sucks (pretty much all stock barrels do though).
2) I chop balls like mad, even though I've sent it in to Airgun Designs, use a 12v Revolution and have adjusted my nitro tank several times.
Conclusion:
This gun is ok, and if you do buy one, get a Revolution and new barrel. It absolutely HAS to run on nitro or compressed air. I love the looks and the ROF, but it chops too many balls for my taste. I'm selling mine and getting a Shocker.
