Dragun T.E.S. stock, with CO2 when firing these for the first time.
HALO loader.
Recommended Barrels:
A barrel with a slightly larger bore diameter.
I'm not exactly sure which one though... I tried three different barrels in the same day and the balls broke in all of them.
Strengths:
Smell pretty.
Balls were in good condition when I opened the box.
Weaknesses:
TOO BIG.. were breaking in my barrel.
Review:
I got these balls when I first purchased my T.E.S. and took them out to the field for the first time with my new gun. The balls started to break in my barrel every so often and I was beginning to think it was a problem with the gun. Upon closer inspection, all the balls were breaking in the barrel and not in the gun because my gun was still squeaky clean. So, I switched barrels. In fact, I switched barrels 3 times. I tried the stock T.E.S. barrel first and they were breaking. I tried my friend's barrel from his Spyder AMG and I still broke occasionally.. I even I tried my friend's Armson rifled barrel, they still broke. I then switched to using an OLD box of all red Pro Balls that I had stored in my closet. These things must have honestly been 3 years old. I loaded them up, and happily they fired perfectly out of my gun. So, while these balls may be good for other marker set ups, I personally can't recommend them because they were breaking on me.
Conclusion:
Balls were in good condition out of the box but were breaking in my barrel. They were firing OK out of my friend's gun, but he still didn't like them too much.
ANS GX 3 Autococker w/Eclipse Blade trigger frame, SupaFly Delrin Bolt, Freak system
Recommended Barrels:
Freak w/.692 insert, any other larger bore barrel.
Strengths:
They look pretty cool. The ones that aren't dimpled shoot pretty straight.
Weaknesses:
Just about everything. These balls are horrible. I bought a case last weekend and nearly 75%% of the balls were badly dimpled. They just would not shoot straight after i matched them up to my Freak(this is a pretty large bore paint). My friend bought a case and had the same problems. I ended switching to Marbs later in the day and it was like night and day. The Marbs shot perfectly straight.
Conclusion:
I can't recommend these Steel balls. For the price stick with Blaze or Marbs or any other quality RPSW or Diablo ball. Don't waste your money.
it breaks...somtimes....if you pray hard enough. or if you hit a hard surface, such as the mask.
Weaknesses:
These things are bigger than beach balls. they wouldn't go through my boomstick so i had to borrow my friend's freak. they still busted in the barrel. my friends freak was so dirty when i gave it back to him....
also, these balls curved (when barrel was clean). after they busted in the barrel, they about did 360's to come back and hit me.
Conclusion:
make sure you have a large bore barrel if you ABSOLUTELY want to use these.
