I have also used Monsterballs, as well as some Impact and Recon paint.
Marker Setup:
Vl Maxis
Vl Quantum
Stock barrel
Recommended Barrels:
Any barrel would do fine, but a bigger bore size for these large paintballs would help.
Strengths:
Very visible
Breaks on target
No breaks in barrel
Accurate
No dimples
Price
Weaknesses:
None that I found, other than a protruding seam
Review:
I have only used on case of this paint, but I have to say that I am very impressed. None of these paintballs had dimples whatsoever, and they were very hard. Even though they were hard, they broke very well on the targets. The fill was very visible, but so were the paintballs, unfortunately, so people could see the paintball coming. These were very accurate consistantly. I had no breaks in the whole box of 2000 paintballs. These are the best paintballs I have used, and they seemed to do the job as well as Impacts or Recons, just without the larger price tag. I bought these paintballs because they were cheap, but I only mean the price. There were other paintballs for more money that I looked at that were dimpled and soft, not something you want in a paintball. These were only 37 dollars for 2000 paintballs and they were well worth the money.
Conclusion:
As with all Nelson paint, Hotspot was a very high quality paint. Unlike other Nelson paint, it was very cheap. I would strongly recommend this paint for anything short of a tournament. It is possible that not all boxes of Hotspot are this good, but I got a very very good batch of paint.

All Stars, Marbellizier, & when I started I used Brass Eagle which out performs this paint
Marker Setup:
Point Zero...not exactly a great gun but haven't had any problems with other paint
Recommended Barrels:
I don't recommend this paint
Strengths:
I don't think there are any strenghts...maybe that it's cheap
Weaknesses:
didn't fly straight, the fill is hardly noticable, chopps a ton of balls
Review:
Chopped a ton of balls, Fill is barely noticable, Many odd shaped balls, Don't fly straight. Overall this paint is terrilbe. I would use BRASS EAGLE over this stuff. On the day i used this paint I shot 5 different types of balls....All Star's, Marbellizers, DBX, Brass Eagle and Hot Spot....those are the order in which they performed too....Hot Spot is not worth the cheap price because you will be shooting yourself in the foot w/ it b/c you're so mad w/ it....probable won't matter though b/c you won't be able to see it on your shoes w/ the fill in these balls.
Conclusion:
Some may say that it's the gun i used, but i used all star's and marbellizer's on the same day w/ this gun and they both worked great. This paint is just terrible! Don't buy it because it's cheap b/c you will be frustrated every time you shoot. Maybe other Anarchy balls are better but i'm not going to mess around w/ them.
