I have used the automag ,Defiant among other numerous guns they all do not compare to the accuracy of this gun |
| Marker Setup: |
I use a 2001 Autococker STO with a shocktech front Reg and bomb. I also have an evil cocking rod on the gun along with a WGP hinge with a flame trigger |
Recommended Upgrades: |
I highly recommend the hinge or e blade and the evil cocking rod |
| Strengths: |
the biggest strength to this gun is the accuracy |
| Weaknesses: |
largest downfall to any cocker has to be the upkeep |
| Review: |
This gun after being a staple for many years in the tournaments is still high quality and highly recommended by this player. Not only is this gun highly dependable when you have it timed right it also draws attention from others because of it's sharp looks. Sure other guns might fire faster but I honestly think no other gun intimidates people more than the old autococker no matter what version you use and intimidation is half of the battle |
| Conclusion: |
I recommend that and serious player buy this gun or an autococker in the least as for newbies work your way up to these guns by starting with a easier gun first |

rebel deluxe and spyder shutter\They do not compare to this product at all.The sto is a lot more acurate and can shoot a lot faster. You dont have to spend a bunch of money on parts because it doesnt need that many parts.[maybe a better trigger frame and a barrel] |
| Marker Setup: |
a sto autococker and i have a crome trigger frame on it and dye sticky grips and I'm going to get a new barrel.[freak probley] |
Recommended Upgrades: |
a new trigger frame and a new barrel |
| Strengths: |
It shoots very acurate and very fast.It doesnt brake easily so its not fragile. |
| Weaknesses: |
The one weakness is their are some accesseries you need if you are picky. |
| Review: |
This is a great gun.It shoots acurate and very fast.It cheaper than the black magic but it is just as good.I would get this gun over an angel 1R3.Thier was a hole in my fence just big enough for a paintball to fit through and I was 70 feet away and with one shot I shot a paintball through that hole. |
| Conclusion: |
This is a really good gun and I like it a lot. It shoots acurate and very fast.I can out run a black magic with a view loader and all I have is a java 12 volt.Get this gun it is a great gun.Trust me. |

| Strengths: |
everything.
this gun is accurate (with the right barrel)
it is quiet
it has AWESOME looks
not a gas hog |
| Weaknesses: |
um the only bad thing is the barrel i got with it came loose during rapid fire. and so does the cocking rod. but those are both nothing to worry about. |
| Review: |
the first day i got this gun i went to my local paintball field got my nitro tank filled and was firing in the range. i was amazed at how accurate and quiet this thing was. the next week i was playing with it and in the first game i got 4 people (out of 10) out. the reason i was so happy about this was because i was sniping for the whole game. I also was hardly spotted by my team mates because i was in a dark part of the room and my cocker was so quiet they would walk right past without noticing. (i think the noise level from some of the other guns had something to do with it) |
| Conclusion: |
SO if you want a quiet and accurate gun capble of laying down strings of paint. this ones for you. BUY THIS GUN you will NOT regret it. |

My friends Eclipse and a Spyder that I modded(kinda pathetic compared to the Cocker). |
| Marker Setup: |
1998 Cocker STO(vert feed), Evolution bolt, Kapp ram, Ans 3 -way (very short) chrome Benchmark 45 trigger frame,(single trigger), Pysco Ballistics drop forward, Lapco Bigshot barrel, Kapp volumizer, Kapp velocity adjuster, Shocktech beaver tail, shortened trigger springs, 45ci 3000psi System X tank. |
Recommended Upgrades: |
I always recomend a new barrel when ever you purcase a new marker along with a bolt. With these two add-ons your guns performance will increase. |
| Strengths: |
Everything there is nothing else to say but this gun rocks myn has such a nice smooth, short trigger pull you can bust out an eight round burst with out a problem. People always complain about short-stroking Cockers were i play. I let them try to short stroke myn , and they cant. My Cocker is virtually impossible of short stroking.I know this because i have tried it and i could not make it short-stroke. |
| Weaknesses: |
Bad not a thing .The gun was made perfect. |
| Conclusion: |
If you can find a 1998 Cocker STO i would advise you to pick it up. You would be missing the opportunity of a lifetime in my opinion. I know this becasue I love my Cocker. It can keep up with Angels and Eclipses and easily surpasses short stroking Automags(I cant shoot a Mag I always short-stroke them). This gun rocks and rolls all day long. Mantainace not a problem if you dont touch if their is no problem. |

Ive used angels and shockers and other cockers but none came close to the sto I have. I also own another decent gun its a 1996 piranah and has the best stuff on it. |
| Marker Setup: |
2002 sto with a 68 4500 crossfire with rase bottle cover i also use a 9v revolution soon to have the 12v |
Recommended Upgrades: |
a better barrel if u want better accuracy. other than that its an awsome gun. |
| Strengths: |
EVERYTHING! it shot great out of the package and works like a champ im hoping to put many of paintball years on it. |
| Weaknesses: |
The cocking rod will come loose if you are shooting fast but its not that bad. A differnt rod will fix that. And it could be a little bit more accurate but i shouldnt complain to much its a great gun and a must to have. |
| Conclusion: |
Its a great all around gun, not perfect but good enough. Im going to give it a 9 because nothing is perfect like i said before i hope to put many of years on it and if you are a first timer then dont spend alot of money on your first gun. I do recomend that you know a bit of knowledge of a cocker before buying one, it will help you the trouble when you are timing it and fixing it. |

| Marker Setup: |
stock 3-way,palmer rock reg, stock ram, supa fly bolt, wgp hinge trigger, smart parts freak barrel (i also got a boomy), dye stickys |
Recommended Upgrades: |
bolt, barrel, and trigger frame |
| Strengths: |
it shoots great especially with the freak. extremely accurate, and shoots very fast. very tight groupings on the field. |
| Weaknesses: |
the only bad thing is the trigger frame cause its made of a type of plastic and has a tendency to crack so get a new trigger frame asap. remember to clean the gun each time after use or you WILL have problems but if you remember to clean it, it really doesnt have too many problems. Also remember to oil it too. Oil it enough but dont drown it or it will cause leakage. |
| Conclusion: |
this is a great gun and is well worth buying. |

| Review: |
great freakin gun, easily compares, and over excedes spyders and other low end markers. when i bought this i got it timed and everything and i went too the woods to waste some paint ( a case) and i shot at a tree from more then 30 yards ( tree was about 7inches wide) and i missed the tree about 9 times out of a hopper. their was a huge circle of paint on the tree. i went to the local field and played a few games. i wasnt showing of my gun but it shown off itself and everyone loved it. anyway i only had to use one hopper of paint for 2 speedball games and i whiped out just-about everyone. it gave me more confidence to where i would move ( i bunkered i guy and surrendered 2 guys in the same game). |
| Conclusion: |
in conclusion this is the best gun iv ever used and recommend this gun to anyone with some money on their hands. i dont recommend this gun to newbies or unexperienced players because it get a little technical after-a-while.i wish i could give this gun a higher rating then a 10!!!!! |

| Review: |
This gun is an amazing gun. Some people say the gun doesn't make the player and they are right but a gun can give Someone a huge edge like me when I was playing with a bunch of spyders in a really big field. As anyone would know spyders even with their velocity cranked all the way up they still don't give great distance but what do you expect from a 150 dollar gun. First of all my friend was in the way back of the field just walking around because no one was hitting him because he was to far away. I see him giving commands to every on his team where we were so i let off a couple off shots and 2 paintballs whiz on both sides of him about 6 inches from his body. He automatically flocks for cover and he seemed very surprised. The gun has extreme distance not as long as a flatline and it has pinpoint accuracy even with co2. If upgraded this can rip shots as fast as an angel if given the right trigger. |
| Conclusion: |
This is an affordable gun and can easily compete with top notch markers. I would highly recommend this marker if you want extreme accuracy and distance. |

Recommended Upgrades: |
Tornado valve with maddman springs. |
| Strengths: |
-This paintgun is the most accurate gun on my field; even more accurate than other autocockers because I timed and sweetspotted it right; I nailed a 10 inch pan 20 times before I missed in rapid fire. Also you can keep a guy in his bunker 75 feet away.
-Very consistent; literally puts one ball on top of the other if sweetspotted right
-Very efficient; it went through 2500 shots before I ran out of air.
-Very reliable; has not leaked once on me yet.
-STO ram is super smooth
-Polished internals make this gun a hair more efficient than the stock autococker.
-The milling actually helps you clean the cocking rod easier; plus the milling is mature in that it is not overexaggerated.
-The trigger pull is smooth and light
-Externally adjustable regulator.
-Good snapshooting
| Weaknesses: |
-It's only bad if you are just starting to own an autococker. You must read all the nice tech manuals on air-powered.com or other sites to get your cocker timed and sweetspotted right.
-The manual is not very detailed for new owners
| Conclusion: |
The autococker is the most accurate paintgun you can buy. The STO steps up the level of the stock autococker by making the internals polished and adding a externally adjustable ergo reg. During target practice (with angels, matrix, automags and department store paintguns) my gun was the most accurate. This paintgun is staying with me for a long time. |

| Review: |
I went to my local field and went up to the counter, saw the STO and fell in love. This would be my first Autococker, so i bought it. i took it home watched about a thousand videos on how to time it ( yes it was slightly out of time) and read about a million pages on it and all about the internals. After about 2 days i completely understand the whole thing and decide to time it. I timed the sear to release the lug at about half way through the pull and right after to recock, i managed to set it up so it would suck the next ball into the breech. Although i still need to learn not to short stroke and i'm yet to sweetspot the reg i still think this gun is awsome!!! |
| Conclusion: |
Buy this gun!!!!!!! |
