SteadFast917 Friday, February 13th, 2004 Period of Product Use: 1 year Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: Most Vert feed autocockers. System X autocockers. Regular WGP autocockers do not compare with this gun at all. System X autocockers are good but are much more expensive. Marker Setup: 2k2 STO with Xonik electronic frame(similiar to e-blade..except made by system x) with anti-chop eye. system x all delron bolt. Halo b hopper with z-code. Freak barrel system. 68/4500 pmi nitro tank. Recommended Upgrades: A good trigger frame. Strengths: Speed Accuracy Noise level (pretty quiet) value Looks awesome Weaknesses: None that i have found Review: I absolutely love the STO autococker. It is one of the best paintball markers i have ever used. You can't even compare a gun like this to any spyder. The times in which i have used it in tournaments has been amazing. It has never failed me, and I have never shot a more accurate marker. With the right trigger frame this gun can rip like no other. Awesome gun, i would recommend to anyone. If you buy this marker you will not be dissapointed. Conclusion: I think that for what you get this gun is the best value on the market. Nothing around this guns price range can even compare. torbo Friday, January 16th, 2004 Period of Product Use: 1 year Paintball Experience: 3 years Similar Products Used: mags, many other cockers Marker Setup: Black 2002 Angel IR3 Cobra trigger 12" Dye Aluminum Blue 2002 STO Atucocker WGP 2 piece barrel WGP hinge frame with flame trigger AKA Sidewinder Recommended Upgrades: barrel kit hinge frame, if you like them everything else is nice, but optional Strengths: smooth, looks great, good value (used), great consistancy and efficiency Weaknesses: uh Review: i guess ill review a stock STO, since mine is quite far from it. -looks: IMO, it has very nice milling and the anno job is good too. -Internals: valve and hammer are acceptable. - Pneumatics: nice. 3 way is smooth and short and doesnt leak. LPR is simple. Ram is very fast and smooth. Generally considered to be one of the best. - Reg: Ergo reg is nice, quite solid. Itll do fine for most. I felt the need to replace it, but that may be just me. - Trigger: the trigger is smooth. I would have liked set screws for the frame, but i guess its ok. I personally prefer a hinge, so i replaced that. Bolt: its good enough, i like delron better tho. other things: You can pick these up for pretty cheap, since they are no longer produced. Its a great body to upgrade, since its already nice, but alot can be done to it. They are also very distinctive, and not super common. SpitfireStu Monday, January 5th, 2004 Period of Product Use: 3 months Paintball Experience: 1 year Similar Products Used: Spyder E-99, Viewloader E-Grip, Spyder Shutter, Phantom Stock, Tippmann 98 Custom. None compare to the STO!!! Marker Setup: I have a 2002 STO autococker with an AIM nickel hinge trigger, 14 inch ACI graffiti barrel, WGP standard drop forward, 12 volt Viewloader Revolution. For power, I have a 3000 PSI, 68CI Pure Energy High Pressure tank. Recommended Upgrades: New barrel, cradle if you have air, hinge trigger, more solid barrel. DON'T PUT CO2 TTHROUGH THIS GUN!!!! The co2 will freeze your o-rings and you will chop more balls per case. I switched from co2 to air, and when I first fired with the air, a bunch of built up white sludge came pouring out my barrel. Strengths: Looks and shoots great, light, fast, accurate. Weaknesses: Matinence is required after every day at the field. Short stroking easily chops balls. Review: This gun is a wonderful piece of work from Worr Games Products. I bought mine barely used from a friend for $330, and haven't looked back since. Whenever I take it out on to the field, it outshoots in distance and accuracy any spyder or other low end semi-auto. In the past, I have had timing issues in addition to short stroking. These were my personal skill problems and they have been fixed. When this gun is properly maintained and cared for, it can perform well at any level with the previously mentioned upgrades. It needs to be checked and cleand after every day at the field, and pressure needs to be adjusted to a level where balls will not chop with the stock bolt. Conclusion: This gun is a great performer for the money. You can get them on Ebay for around $400 as of Jan 2004. Keep it maintained, timed, and using compressed air rather than co2, and you will have a great gun that will increase in value, as Worr Games didn't make an 03' STO autococker. kamacaze7030 Friday, December 19th, 2003 Period of Product Use: Only tested Paintball Experience: 3 years Marker Setup: bko 2k3 dye boomstick zenitram asa , palmers pusuit lpr , zenitram valve, shocktech bolt, macdev gladiator Recommended Upgrades: new trigger frame, drop forward, maybe a reg? Strengths: stock barrel is great, accurate, pnuematics, bolt, reg, looks, Weaknesses: wieght, price, hard to find the 01, Review: even thou ive only tested this , i believe it is a great stock gun overall, it was a lil heavey, but besides that it was accurate, semi fast, and reliable, but did have a high price tag., not to mention the trigger shoe came off while firing,(a 5 dollar fix, boo hoo) and there didnt seem to be a way to see the out put on the reg. the sto had no problems for me or my friend, he did need to adjust his velocity once or twice but thats it. paint didnt break at all, out of a box of 200, only 3 broke, maybe it was the barrel, i dont know, any ways it was delicate on paint, and was nothing close to a gas hog. paintball05 Tuesday, November 18th, 2003 Period of Product Use: Less than a month Paintball Experience: 3 years Similar Products Used: Ive used my friends angel speed before ( VERY NICE TRIGGER ) . Ive used my friend matt's Bob Long Signiture Series Autococker before.thats about all that ive used Marker Setup: 2002 Worr games Sto ( nowdays the replacement is called the Out cast ) blue - purple - pink 3 way fade new Ram Blue flame drop forward Recommended Upgrades: The trigger on it is really good for an auto cocker! so you can stay with the stock 1. Get a new bolt eventually , the stock 1 is ok. If you care about the heavyness of it then get a new barrel ( the stock barrel is just like a Dye boomstick ) last and least needed , you can get a new Regulater put on it. Strengths: VERY ACCURATE good rate of fire Good gun for intermediates/Pros light weight Weaknesses: Alot of maintenance the stock barrel is kind of heavy Review: AN AUSOME GUN!!!!!!!! if anywone is willing to teach me how to time this gun then please add me to your buddy list then talk to me when i get on! i really need to know how to time it.If anywone does this for me , it would be greatly appriciated! Conclusion: This is a good gun for Intermediates/pros Accurate good rate of fire easy to uppgrade light weight Its a Ausome over all gun! krazypaintballa Tuesday, November 11th, 2003 Period of Product Use: Less than a month Paintball Experience: 1 year Similar Products Used: Black Magic ans gx4 Marker Setup: 2001 Wgp Sto with hinge 20 oz pure energy anti-siphon also 48 cu 3000psi nitro 12v revy 2 piece j&j barrel Recommended Upgrades: boomstick, hinge, co2 if you cannot afford nitro. egg, on and off drop forward. Strengths: reliable accurate quiet looks awesome ready out of box excellent marker with or without upgrades Weaknesses: short strokes sometimes chops when trigger not pulled back all of the way Review: Some people say you should use nitro because if you don't it will mess up your autococker. THAT IS A LIE!!!!!!! Autocockers were made way before nitro and run perfect with co2. I mean sure nitro is more consistent...... But why waste the money? I run Co2 threw my Cocker and it work just about the same when using my nitro!!!!! Conclusion: Get an autococker, if you know how to use it. And a hinge is a must. overall this is one of the best autocockers for a beginner or pro . That is why i give it a 10 of 10!!!!! GO WGP ANTOHER SUCCESS!!!!!! Cwilks2k06 Thursday, October 9th, 2003 Period of Product Use: 3 months Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: uh ive shot 2k2 cockers with ups Marker Setup: 2k2 sto blue eclipse blade trigger dye boomstick rico 2k 68/45 crossfire tank Recommended Upgrades: U pay for the STO because it basically comes stock with what u need hence the name sto- standard tournament options u cud gte a brrel and i prefer hinges Strengths: Feel quiet speed looks Weaknesses: honestly havnt found any weaknesses yet Review: Its a great gun it costs more than the 2k2's or the 2k3's because out of the box it works great. And looks great the ram on this thing makes for a smooth pull speed is up to u best thuing about cockers. no electronic bps cap. I suggest u get one if you have the money resales n cockers are temporarily low so jump on it!! Marker Setup: -2k1 STO -ANS front block pneumatics -Centerflag hyper reg. -Superfly derlin bolt -Centerflag uprising trigger -68ci/4500psi centerflag tank -J&J stainless steel 2 peice 14" -Halo B Recommended Upgrades: -New bolt (derlin) -New trigger -New barrel...boobstick,ceramic,some kind of barrel system Strengths: -Speed -Accuracy -Looks -Distance Weaknesses: -little heavy -have to tweak it alot -doesnt shoot very good out of box Review: Overall, The 2k1 STO is one of the best autocockers i have shot or owned, it combines its speed and accuarcy(like any other cockers!). and just the way the gun comes together is Sweet. Also there is some downfalls to the gun, the first is that the front pneumatics arent very good i would suggest either an orracle or ans frontblock, also the reg is goood, but youstill have to replace it someday.....the bolt is pretty bad too it can easily scratch up the inside of your gun just like any stupid venturi bolt, and that is about it. other than those minor problem the gun is awesome! Strengths: see review Weaknesses: IT'S HARD TO SELL FOR A GOOD PRICE!!!!!!!!! Review: GOOD: very accurate with upgrades.looks sweet,not to bad on kickback.pretty quiet with dye ultralite.short trigger pull with orracle 3-way and hinge trigger.range,accuracy.extreme accuracy with stock barrel.i like it better than anything.MY TRIGGER PULL IS DOWN TO 3CM....WOW!!!!talk about short.i have to have a halo to keep up with it.I LOVE THIS GUN.IT'S THE BEST COCKER I'VE OWNED,AND WOULD TAKE IT TO ANY TOURNY. Marker Setup: '98 Sto, P&P Slider, Air America Vigalante vert reg, Palmers micro rock, shocktech ram, shocktech Bomb 3 way, shocktech LPC, shocktech superfly bolt, shocktech cocking rod, shocktech RAT valve, Free Flow tungsten hamer,SP Freak,Halo TSA, Nitro duck 68/3k micro reg 2k1 r/fcocker w/ many of the same mods except has a WGP hinge and a ANS LPR 99 r/f Shocker w/ to many mods to list Recommended Upgrades: as always new barrel, bolt, front kit, vert. reg and a shocktech cocking rod. also new internals Strengths: With my setup it is very efficient(600-700rnds froma 48/3k) Weaknesses: Timing(will be explained in review) Review: I just traded my classic RT for this gun and im very pleased w/ it. it is one of the only cockers that i really feel comfortable using(maybe just the setup) The only weakness that i have w/ the gun is im a major tinkerer. so i constantly need to time my gun(not bad im actually getting very good at it{suction timing}) but its not the guns fault. people are always talking about accuracy, well sry to break it to you folks but any gun will shoot w/ the same accuracy giving the same input pressure and the same velocity, also including the same conditions and proper paint to barrel match. w/ that said this gun and other cockers seem more accurate but only because of the low recoil they have. im very impressed w/ the gun and that takes alot. out of all ym markers i will prob. use this one the most Conclusion: I have shot almost all of the high end markers in the sport of paintball. i also have many high end guns myself and the STO is my main gun for the moment. I will def. recomend to any one that is interested. im giving it a 9 because this isnt the absolute best, you can never have that. only if your comfortable w/ it.
