Cobra Mamba IR3 Glossy Red, 45/45 Angel AIR, Egg2 stock board, DYE Titanium Barrel, stock Cobra barrel, cobra volumizer, cobra fang trigger, cobra delrin open face bolt, cobra SS hammer, gutted mini reg, Mem6 board and COPS2.
Recommended Upgrades:
Get a selection of barrels for bore sizes, and the fang trigger or another aftermarket IR3 trigger, and make sure you get some type of delrin bolt.
Strengths:
Looks, performance and reliability.
Weaknesses:
Costs much more then a normal IR3.
Review:
Ive been using this gun for over a year and a half, and it has gone down on me once. It was actually due to solder breaking on the connection to the toggle switch. Ive been able to run this gun at a low pressure for a HP gun. With a gutted mini reg and volumizer I was running it at 350psi input from an Angel AIR, and 80 psi at the LPR, and 14 dwell. I have never once chopped with my COPS2 on, I have chopped with it off so it goes to show that it works, just make sure you understand how it works or else you wont set it up right. The new trigger adjustments are very nice, and I found that the middle pivot point is the best one, it allows the same amount of travel at the top or bottom of the trigger.
Conclusion:
Overall its an amazing marker, but the biggest problem ive seen with people with angels is they think "Hey its an angel comes out of the box ready to go" they use it and it messes up on them. You need to read the manual and you need to adjust the settings. These guns are made to be as customizable to the player as possible without making your own. If you can afford the cobra gun just get a regular one and buy the parts latter, because the cobra bolt and hammer make a huge difference.
