The Scepter is simply the most revolutionary barrel design ever created. Its features solve every problem ever associated with a paintball gun barrel. This is the only barrel to ever use a self-align system to precisely align both bores. This alignment creates a perfectly straight flight line for the ball to travel through. The Scepter also features color coded, interchangeable bore sleeves to correctly match any size paint. These bore sleeves have been uniquely designed to load from the front and lock in place to prevent any shifting or movement during firing. Since the bore sleeves donít require O-rings to hold them in place, there is no chance of the sleeve flexing under pressure.
Product Availability
The Powerlyte Scepter Barrel System is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: The Powerlyte Scepter is one of many kits on the market today. Seems everyone has a kit design to bring into PB. But the meat and potatoes of the Scepter is as follows:

You can choose from 3 different kits(3,5, and 7 piece) which are the bore sizes. With this many to choose from, you can shoot any brand and size paint on the market. This is a great start for the kit. The insert length is longer than most too. This gives your paint more time to "spin up" before reaching the tip. Comparing to the other 2 piece kits, it makes a difference over the chrono. I noticed about a 7-10 FPS increase shooting the same paint and marker set up. This does not mean that all will experience this increase. You can get the kits with 12, 14, and 16 inch tips to fit your desired length for play. The price is fairly reasonable too. Not a bad piece to have in your gear bag.

Down side though, is that it comes with a soft case, and the inserts are made of aluminum. Which mean they can dent, bend, or even crush if not taken care of. I have heard that they are now making a hard case, so something to look for in the future.
Conclusion: Definately a good kit to have. Get a hard case to protect the inserts and you will have a 2 piece that will put you on TARGET at your favorite field. I am rating it a 9, simply because its hard to protect the inserts with a soft case. But overall, an outstanding piece of gear.

Review: This barrel is great, It is just as is not more accurate than the freak and i think it looks better. the inside is polished to a mirror like finish and after putting at least two cases of paint through it i haven't had a single break. people complain about the case but you just have to be carfull with it. the customer service is good, they respond to e-mails very fast. I ordered the five insert kit and they had to backorder two of the inserts but thats ok. the black doesn't quite match the black on my timmy but you have to look close to really see a difference.
Conclusion: just as good if not better than the freak. go get one
