Recommended
Upgrades:
halo hopper, aftermarket barrel, large drop forward
Strengths: Speed, Accuracy, loud?... it's good if you want to be heard.
Weaknesses: slop in the trigger (left to right) , LONG , stock grips with gloves suck!!
Review: Over all this is an incredible marker for the price I got it (thanks Byron) but anyway back to the marker, it is very long the stock barrel is only 12 in. but the darn thing is freggin' long, that trying to duck around a tree or corner is a feat in its self. The trigger pull is very sensitive it takes some getting used to and is just a thing you need to get taken care of either threw practice or a new trigger .
Conclusion: This gun rocks you have the money to invest get it you will not be disappointed be the performance of this or any decent piranha product

Timmy, proto matrix, angel, rodeo, e- orracle, ego, shocker. not comparable to the angel or ego, but still as quick as the rest.
Marker Setup: New Designz high flow valve, NDZ no rise adjustable feedneck, Kingman roicking trigger, Shocktech superfly bolt, spring kit, macro-line, halo-b loader, 3000, 68 ci pure energy compressed air tank, Proto 14" barrel,
Recommended
Upgrades:
all as shown above. but a must have is a new barrel, bolt, and valve
Strengths: Very quick with ups, light body.
Weaknesses: Factory barrel, bolt "chops all most every ball", cheap factory spring and valve.
Review: i bought this gun January, 2004 and immediately after shooting it, i knew it must have many up-grades. i have been using this website to find my ups and then purchased them from an online store. it has taken me nearly 2 years to get my gun perfected and i finally have with all the ups listed. i went to my local store and bought a proto 14" barrel for $65 and then went out to play today, October 15,2005. i shot through a case and a half not chopping a single ball. all because of my new blot, valve and barrel. the valve boosts consistency and your rate of fire to about twice of what it was factory. Also, with the NDZ high-floe valve, you can drop your operating pressure by about 200 psi "I did". next, a new bolt is needed. the Shocktech Superfly bolt greatly helps with your distance and accuracy of the paintball. another must have is compressed air. it helps with your consistency and you can play on colder days without much trouble. Finally, a new trigger is a must have. because the factory trigger was completely impossible to walk, i bought the rocker trigger and it has taken my spyder to a new level of speed. i can shoot lanes easily at about 15 BPS and there are no chops or stray balls flying all over the field. the rocker trig. frame is a very good trigger frame
Conclusion: With about $250 worth or up-grades you can shoot like the pro's

PMI black maxx, no wayas good as this but still a good begining gun
Spyder Espirit, nice gun but the electra is a much upgraded version of it.
WGP chaos series autococker, awesome gun much better than this but triple the price.
Marker Setup: Kingman Electra DX
All stock
Recommended
Upgrades:
i would have gotten a better barrel and a new bolt. Get N2 or Co2
Strengths: Accuracy
air conservation
speed
Weaknesses: None really just not as good as more expensive guns
Review: This gun is a really nice gun but im upgrading to a WGP 2004 prostock. The gun is a satisfactory gun but not a prize winner, i would prefer other kingmans and spyders over this one. With this price you could buy a nice trilogy autococker, those are nice and cheap unlike this gun. No hard feelings toward this gun but i am not satisfied of its performance over the years
Conclusion: I wouldnt buy this gun because with its price u could get something better

Marker Setup: all stock gun.. 20 oz c02 need upgrades when i have money
Recommended
Upgrades:
new barrel, air system, elec hopper
Strengths: fast. durable, light. sleek
Weaknesses: barrel.. but all stock barrels suck
Review: some people said the barrel is a two piece barrel but its welded.. i dont know if mine is a faulty one, but with a lot of effort i guess i loosend it quite a bit.. and my friend was playing with it and he separated the 2 pieces... both of them are fully in tact and nothings wrong..
this gun shoots very very fast so i recommend a new barrel and a lot of paintballs.
this gun and the imagine are almost identical but electra dx is better..
buy this over a 500 dollar gun that u get same quality for.
Conclusion: even tho its kinda expensive u cant go wrong with this gun

Spyder AMG
Marker Setup: Electra DX all stock with an empire reloader 20 oz tank
Recommended
Upgrades:
Spring Kit, new Valve, new bolt or home modification to the stock bolt...
Strengths: Accurate, consistant, doesnt break... pinches balls sometimes, when shooting full auto
Weaknesses: when it chops.. i would feel safer with a sling shot it is very unaccurate
Review: I have had a few unexplained o-ring breaks and i dont know what it is caused by but it shoots very great, and the price is right especially for a gun that can kick some serious ass when the right player is using it, the gun could have some more colors available, but no complaints, its not really how it looks its how it performs and it works well
Conclusion: In Conclusion, Buy this marker, or the AMG... both very similar, but its very good

Marker Setup: Electra DX | 12 in DYE UltraLite | 20oz CO2 | Anti Siphon | VL 12v Revvy
Recommended
Upgrades:
Barrel, Expansion Chamber, 12v Revvy, HPA
Strengths: *Fast Shooting
*Attractive
*LED
*Fast mode switching
*Easy Striping
Weaknesses: *Screws come loose, I mean ALL the screws come loose
*Very bad E-frame grip
Review: At first, I was VERY happy with this gun. Hadn't used it in the field yet, but shot very fast, and accurate. Then I went rec balling. Everything just fell apart, all the screws came very loose within 3 games. Eventually my trigger frame became so loose that I was losing CO2, and would fire unexpectingly, on safety. I am very dissapointed with this gun. Oh, did I say the guage broke?
Conclusion: If your thinking about getting this gun, go for the flash or the E-99. Better guns for a lower price.

Paintball

Marker Setup: dx with a 21"cmi sniper barrel
Recommended
Upgrades:
barrel, hopper
Strengths: looks nice with stock barrel, accurate, fast
Weaknesses: chops balls, too expensive, the bolt, just about everything CO2 hose breaks easy, heavy
Review: first the bolt got so scratched up with only 2000 rounds that i had to get a new one. oh buy the way, whats the deal with a 2 piece 14 inch barrel that is welded together. then the hose broke when i twisted in my CO2 Tank after only 10 games, so i had to screw my CO2 tank in vertically. then the barrel got so scratched up form just sitting in the case. (i don't understand either) i finally said screw it and i just rented 3 year old guns that worked better.
Conclusion: i played about 30-40 games of paintball with this gun and almost every game something went wrong DO NOT BUY
