Looks cool. Fast. Reliable. Great features. Nice colors! |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Little heavy. Just a little |
 |
| Review: |
The Electra is a fast, reliable, cool looking marker. It might be a little heavy but it still the perfect Beginner through Intermediate gun. It is great for both arena and woods ball because of it's ability to change modes from semi to 3 burst to 6 burst to fully. I normally use my carbon fiber for arena and stock for woods. Hey, if you get the chance buy it |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Man this gun is awsome! Get it if you have the chance. |

| Review: |
The Electra DX is a great gun, the best one yet by Kingman. I have used it for about a year and the only problems i've had was the lock screw came out (no big deal), and the stock barrel is loud and isn't that accurate. With the crossfire nitro and whisper barrel it is just as quiet as a $1400 gun, and works just as well. The gun does 13 bps, the velocity doesn't jump all over the place, and it doesn't inhale air. It's easy to clean. I have fallen down a hill and the gun was just fine. The battery will last more than a day. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
A great gun I recommend it to everyone. |

| Review: |
Overall the electra dx is a very very nice gun. It has a nice ROF and feel nice to shoot in general. A must to have gun for players with mild experiance.
It also has a nice milling job on it but to bad the dont make a black DX only the regular electra is.
If you're looking to buy an electra and upgrade it definitly go for the regular electra. You can save some money there. The only diffrence is that the dx has a 2 inch longer barrel and that stupid worthless gauge. Thats about it. Your gonna get a new barrel anyway.....Right??
Another thing good is that its quite simple to convert it into a low pressure gun. Only if you have the extra cash, and time. But if you dont, the gun is great stock. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I give this marker a rating of 10 because it is arguably the best e spyder out on the market today. (Compared to the almighty AMG).If your looking for an e spyder, and have some cash to spend definitely go for a dx |

| Review: |
i might have had a few complaints but this is by far the best gun i have ever owned, it is the best gun for the money and i haven't had one mechanical problem with it yet BUT
the one problem that i did have was if you have a big hp tank(stubby version) and a new drop forward then you're going to have to invest some money into it, when you go to screw in the tank it cuts into the frame so you would have to probably buy a preset on/off valve to make the threads stick out farther, then if you got that you most likely need a new line |

| Review: |
All I can really say is that this is an amazing gun for only around $230. I think that any paintballer should seriously consider purchasing this marker. Its a great gun and it will not let you down.
It performs great even with the stock barrel. Although if you are paintballing competitively or you just have some extra cash, a better barrel would be a good investment.
This is a great gun, definitely my favorite maker I have ever purchased. I'm sure that if you buy it then you will feel the same way. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I think that this is an excellent marker for anybody of any beginer or even a good back up gun. It is a great gun for a great price. |

| Review: |
okay im not b some newbe who thinks he nos everything so im gonna say wat i feel some new guy The first time I used the gun I new that it was gonna be great. It would seldomely chop balls. they should offer more color combos but I still would of stayed with the blue, and for $159 off badlandspaintball.com( a great site) it has to be the best marker i've ever tried. its lasted me 3 mo and it still hasn't broke through all the harshe stuff I put it through. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
this is the best marker i ever tried but I havn't tried them all and i know there are better so I can't give it a perfect 10 but it' almost sertainly deserves it. |

| Review: |
This gun is great for the intermideate players moving up a level. I love this gun, but I am thinking of moving on to a Autococker. Again great gun. I highly reccomend this. Electric too so an extra ++
MY grade " A "
The gun has a great trigger, nice color, good materials used, and unlikely to brake down. Great gun from Kingman/Spyder! WAY TO GO.
ALSO... make sure not to get unspyder parts. ONLY GET PARTS RELATING TO SPYDERS.
If you purchase this gun, try to get a new barrel and you'll be set. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
GREAT GUN! HIGHLY Recommend Everything is great exept barrel |

| Review: |
I received my brand new Spyder Electra DX a few weeks ago with high expectations...it definitely lived up to them. The first thing i noticed was how intimidating this gun looked. The matte Blue paint looks awesome with the chrome barrel, and trigger frame. Taking the gun apart was a snap, using the quick disassembly pin. My o-rings were oiled, and my gun was back together in a matter of mins. Upon testing, i shot approx. 200 p-balls, and was thuroughly impressed. I tested it on all 4 firing modes, with both Compressed air and C02. NOT ONE BALL BROKE. Of course i was using my mech hopper, which can keep up. I also noticed that the 13 inch stock barrel was pretty accurate for a stock barrell, an upgraded barrel will help fine-tune your accuracy, but dont rush. The gun doesnt come LP out of the box, but polishing the insides, and a new bolt will help bring the pressure down significantly. I had a great time shooting this gun, and i cant wait to get it into a game. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
GREAT gun for the money. Perfect for noobs to experienced, and a great first electronic marker. BUY IT!! |

| Review: |
I got this gun for my birthday some time ago, and out of the box I loved it. The first day I played with it (with my team) it didn't do to badly the first couple hours. However, through the day it got worse and worse. It would unbolt totally every 5 shots sometimes, then it just stopped working. The shop said I needed a new ball detent because they couldn't see it (even though it was there) thats how bad the detent was on mine. This is not a tournament gun in my humble opinion because its not LPO, the regulator is horrid, and personally I only think the AMG is the spyder equiped for tournies (lol so many people are going to dog me on this). However it is a pretty good price. I also like the LED and the 13 bps thats not too shabby. However, I went out to play again and the hose leaked like there was no hose. So after I got that fixed it was fine, until the trigger frame screw stripped and so my trigger frame was loose. Well by then my warranty was already over due to return it, but I still had the kingman warranty but I was so sick of it I just got my dragunfly. Also please do not dog me on this I wasn't totally negative about it (I also took well care of it). But if I were you I would save up 30 more dollars for a dragun fly or something. It is still my backup. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
For a rec baller it is great. The one I got was crap but maybe you'll get a good one. Not a tournament gun in my opinion. Save up 30 and get a dragunfly, save up a good 100 and get a used cocker. Still not a bad gun though. |

 |
| Strengths: |
Price is the main strengh |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
It's still a blow-back marker, a lot of kick and noise. |
 |
| Review: |
The marker was heavy compare to other electros. Price was right. It had 3 modes of shooting, and you can always wire the first and third pin to make the trigger reactive (pull for a shot, and let go for another shot). Trigger needs ajustment, and had a lot of side to side play.
The stock drop was too small for large tanks. Be careful if you change out the bottom line or add a regulator. The threats on the air hose parts are metric. You will have to dish out some money for 1/8" to metric adapters. I got mine from Palmer, and it cost about $10 each, plus shipping, so it's not cheap.
The stock in-line regulator is bad if you do anything faster than 5 bps. It would starve the air and not you will get drop-offs. I recommend putting in nice male regulator like Palmer Stabilizer. If you put in a male regulator, make sure to swap out the whole bottom line kite with a new drop and adapters.
After replacing barrel, valve, springs, hammer, regulator, trigger, grip, hammer ping, bot, and drop, I had a decent setup. It was doing 13 bps with a VL Evolution II. I set the pressure on the marker to 350 psi, it had a lot less kick than the stock 600 psi. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Over all, for the price, it's very good for entry level electro, or a backup marker.
If you tweak it, it could be a decent performer. There are a lot of after-market parts for Spyder. However, by the time you get it working right, it would take at least $300, which is more than the cost of the marker. |
