Dead On Paintball X-Core 8 Stage Expansion Chamber Reviews
This expansion chamber is setting new standards. It has a large liquid cell at the bottom and then 8 micro cells on the top. We ask you to compare it to any other chamber on the market. This grip is the first grip that was designed with both CO2 and N2 users in mind.
The X-Core will give more than enough expansion cell area to break up liquid CO2 while still keeping a straight through, low resistance air flow for Nitrogen. Also, the port hole is on the bottom. Most x-chambers have it on the side and you have to get the hole lined up. With the hole in the bottom, you just get a 90 degree connect elbow (same as with a gas-thru foregrip). The best thing about the x-core is its price. It will do a better job than any other chamber on the market but the price is much lower.
Available in Black, Red, Blue, Green and Purple, and Polished Silver.
Product Availability
The Dead On Paintball X-Core 8 Stage Expansion Chamber is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

PMI Piranha w/ venturi bolt, core x x chamber, Smart Parts Progressive barrel, and a macroline kit.
Strengths:
This product is sooo cheap, it just performs like nothing else
Weaknesses:
occasionally this product will have bad days and make your marker snow like crazy
Review:
This is such a good x chamber for the price. I dont know if it is just the chamber i have or they are all like this but occasionally it snows like hell. But it stil helps the consistancy alot. i got mine for 15$ brand new on e-bay.
Conclusion:
I would reccomend it to anyone mostly because it is so cheap it is pretty good for the price but if it is just mine that snows i think that everyone should buy one that is running c02 so i am going to give it a 10 assuming that mine has problems
its good nice small exchamber
it fit nice on my tippmann
its very nice bc the hole is on the bottom so its easy to run a hose up to the hole and u dont have to line anythign up
its also a very cheap (price wise) xchamber u can easly afford it
Conclusion:
Its worth getttting if u want something cheap and effective
...but not very well.
Poor construction.
The mini-chambers rattle inside.
Notoriously inconsistant.
Review:
I have only used this product on the field for one day.
At the beginning of the day, it seemed to work [I didn't see the plumes of CO2 smoke that was coming from the rentals [I believe were F4 Illustrators]]. It didn't, however, completely eleminate it, for I saw just enough to cloud my vision for a split second. At the chrono, my velocity kept changing, ranging from 260 to about 295 [my local field's FPS limit is 285].
As the day send on, it stayed that way. It worked to the point that I couldn't really notice it while playing, but if I were to watch, there was still snow.
As the day came to a close and I started speedballing, it got worse. I kept seeing white as I played [and it was warmer now than it was before].
Conclusion:
I recommend you not buy this product. When I told my local shop about these problems, they said that the Dead-On X-Chamber always gave mixed results: some people happen to recieve the ones that work. I suggest you spend the extra $10 for another one at your local proshop, like an ACI Sub-Zero [I have heard nothing negative about those].

Bought one of these for my kids BL VF and loved it at first. It felt great to use, took some of the snow out of the equation, and improved the looks and performance of the marker.
Luckily, the little bugger came loose and tightening it caused the fitting in the bottom to come loose. I had to take it off to apply the teflon tape to the threads of the air line going in, and in doing so took it off.
The lock ring had taken a few hits from the xpansion insert during firing and broken allowing the xpansion insert to act as a ram on the pin where the bottle would screw in for a vertical bottle set-up. The pin on the frame of the gun was beaten flat into the frame making me wonder how much longer it would have taken to do serious damage to the marker.
Thought about sending it back and getting another as it had only been on the gun for about 3 weeks at that point but I think it'd happen again. The lock ring is really weak looking. Part of the ring ended up inside the gun, just waiting for something else to damage.
Who knows maybe it was defective but then again............................
Conclusion:
As a gas thru hey it's wonderful. Looks are excellent and it just feels so good in your hand. Even after the damage happened the kid still wanted it on his gun so the insert went in the trash but the rest is still on the gun.
For the looks and feel it's great but I just don't trust that lock ring to stand up to that kind of beating from the insert so I'd recommend you just buy the gas-thru and skip the expansion insert completely.
Clogs up all the pressure so my paintball only went like 10 feet. Also leaks.
Review:
At first, I thought it was going to be a pretty good chamber. But then, even though I had the right threading and everything (i even got the chamber re-threaded), the elbow (that connects the micro-line hose) won't even screw in all the way, so it leaks. So then I put some teflon. Actually, I put A LOT of teflon tape to keep it from leaking. When I solved the problem of the leaking, the gun won't even shoot right. The ball only shot like 10 to 20 feet. I don't know if it's the elbows or it's the chamber, but this chamber has been giving me a hard time. Now, after I was about to take it back and get a replacement, the elbow gets STUCK. Now the elbow is completely scratched up because I used pliers. Now I have to find a way to get it out.
Conclusion:
I would definitely not recommend this product. I'm not saying it's bad, but maybe there was something wrong with mine. If you do get one of these make sure it's in perfect condition and make sure that you take it to shop if there is anything wrong ( I didn't take mine to a shop, so maybe it was my fault).
