The first stocks available for the hot A-5. This is the same Military grade stock that we feature on our Model 98 Commando f/x with an 6061 aluminum end cap that replaces the standard plastic one. Just pop the old end cap off, and slip the new A2 stock in place. The new stock fits really snug (and secure) for an super solid feel.
The Pro-Team Products A-5 Commando F/X Stock is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.
A-5 with 14" Tear drop barel, Car Stock, RT, Remote coil, 20oz Co2, 4-1 camo Pods.
Stability, duribility, comfotable good for picking people off.(Sniper) Kinda
Wobbles alittle not cheap but owhel
I have used this at least 15 times over the past week or so and some people say this is horrable. well guess what THEY ARE W-R-O-N-G!!! It is perfect ro the gun you get a remote and add this it makes it lighter and it is great for lying down in a good spot and just Picking people off as a one shot one kill type thing like a sniper. I Lyed down in a ditch and took out the entier team with on other guy who had one cause it has perfect stability for lying down. Put it up against your shoulder and fire away. Also great for running and sneaking around the other team.
Other people say it is bad and they obvilsly never used it or just put it on wonr I give it a 10 because I love it and eveyone I know love shooting it with the stock on . Get one it help accrucy and resting it on your shoulder. Use it or get it it is great!!!!!!!!!
Tippmann A-5, 35mm Red dot sight, Jr. freak barrel, silencer, sling, Remote line
E-grip, Car stock
Feels good at the shoulder, Adjustable, quick to install
rattles, feels loose, kinda pricey for plastic
This is cool looking... 4 settings, feels good in the shoulder, feels sturdy/strong, i dont expect it'll break any time soon.
I find it's a little loose around where it fits into the back of the A-5, but that was easily fixed by putting a black o-ring around the large gray o-ring on the inside of the rear plate. also i find the sliding stock piece rattles but that doesn't count... my shoulder is stopping that.
I found it a bit pricey for a piece of plastic.... but enh such is life lol gotta have fun at some expense
Overall definetly a nice peice to add to the A-5 looks good, feels good, mighty good. problems that can be fixed, are not problems... they are a neussance, nothing to be bothered by, i give this a 10
Tippman A5, Flatline, Palmer Stabilizer, CAR stock, 32 Degrees Remote, Flurry Tactical Vest
Looks, added stability, good construction
Not always practical
The CAR stock for the A5 is definitely an awesome looking addition. The stock gives the gun a military feel that a lot of people are looking for and the reason some bought the A5 to begin with. I like the fact that it is adjustable and has 3 lengths or positions that allow you to get the feel that is right for each individual user. My CAR stock has a tight fit and was secure and I have no problems with its construction. I believe it gives me more stability providing me with a better shooting platform especially at longer distances.
Also allows for easy attachment of a sling.
The only problem that I find is that with your mask on its near impossible to use the CAR stock with the marker in the way that "stocks" are designed and intended to be used. The problem is that the stock comes off of the back of the marker so high (level with the sight rail) and then add the fact that your wearing a mask, which makes it impossible to get your face down to sight rail to actually use the sights. Anyone who has shot a real sub-gun (H&K for example) or rifle will know exactly what I mean. Maybe if the CAR came off the back and slanted down at an angle it would help. Using it without a mask is great........but how often are you going to do that.
I'm still working on which sight configuration (rail and sight setup) that is going to be comfortable for me with CAR stock attached. I've used it a few times now and I've gotten used to it a little, but its still a frustrating at times.
Also it should be mentioned that its not a cheap add on for $60-$70.
Nice looks, good construction, but not 100% practical. Maybe with slight re-engineering it could be drastically improved.
Tippmann A-5 w/ response trigger system, 14" Tippmann "sniper" barrel, Pro-Team Products A-5 Commando F/X Stock, Tokyo Maurie Airsoft M4/m16 detachable carry handle, BSA Optics 40mm red-dot sight, Pro-Team Products A-5 f/x Ranger/Elite Fore End, custom made m4 front sight, CMI Thunder Pig Micro coil remote line, custom made weaver sight rail riser, PMI Pure Energy 45ci/4500psi HPA tank, QCB 3-point tactical sling, and last but not least...a Rage Force woodland camo A-5 hopper cover.
A real-weapon look and feel, plus some added stability.
Loose fitting, hinders the use of the stock sights, plus its a bit expensive.
I think it is a pretty cool and semi practical accessory. It won't really effect you or your marker's performance, but its worth it if you got the cash and want that real weapon look and feel. I think they hike up the price on it too much, seeing that its really just some molded plastic, a screw, and the the stock rear fitting of an A-5, but oh well. I have no complaints about its construction, its relativly durable, and simple (i.e.no complex internal parts).
If you want it and have the money, buy it. The only reason I am giving it a 9 is because of it's price tag, other then that its a really good product of quality construction.
