Review:
Pro:
Fast
comparitivly inexpensive, $70
Cons
Back heavy
high
shaped like an egg
i just dont like the door on it. It seems simply unnatural
cheaply made shells.
not nearly as fast as a halo.
not force fed.
i have to few words. This egg isnt mine. Its chris's. He uses it on a trix. Its cool. He is getting a HALO though.
Conclusion:
i really like the price, and the way it feeds. But the rest of the hopper annys me. Shells are poorly made too. I guess its personal preference, but id much rather pay the extra for a HALO. It really does feed well, so if thats what youre looking for and are poor, buy one. I strongly reccomend a halo though.

Review:
Awesome Hopper. Design is smart for fast feed. Y-Board is way to go. Better Eye system and on/off. battery door is a bit annoying caause the batteries barely fit. FASt. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH get this hopper it rocks. Everything is quality built in China so dont worry bout it breakin......
Conclusion:
Buy this or HaloB. Fairly cheap. VL didnt really lie about the speed of feed on this like Richochet does... Ask ur self this, why would the pros use these things? They must be good.

Review:
I got this hopper about two manths before I bought an Ion, and I ws still using a Spyder TL-X at the time. I got it all exited that I would no longer have to shake my old ricochet around every couple shots, so I put it on and, the bottom of the hopper was about 3 inches above my gun, and I could just see the feedneck adapter flex and bend any time I moved my gun, not so good. So I stopped using it untill I got my Ion (Whole other story) and I put it on, it set OK, hold a good amount of paint, so I turn it on, BZZZZZZ, it makes the most unbelievable racket, you'd think for 120$ they could put in some gears maybe a few steps up from LEGO quality (wich is not a shot at LEGO, but still 120$ buys A LOT of LEGO) So I get out on the feild, and it works OK for about 10 games, then I'm running to a bunker, just about to paste someone, and I hear this god awfull grinding sound, I start shooting, and after about 5 shots, I'm just cycling air, turns out the motor burned out...WELL...I called Viewloader and they tell me its 30$ for a new motor. So i tell them to go to hell and took the motor apart. Inside the plastic case is a little shop class motor that 11 year olds use to make cranes in school, and a bunch of flimsy plastic gears. So I took a closer look at the motor, and what actually happened was the negative wire had snapped off the poll, so I soldered it back on, problem solved. But I'm getting a new one anyway because even with the fix, it turns at like 0.001 mph.
Conclusion:
It might just be me, because all of my equimpent breaks, even though I take good care of it, but If you buy the egg, be prepared to buy some parts at outrageous prices. But still, works well, when it works!
WEAKNESSES>shell,lid,feedneck,on/off button,speed dial,maintnence,performance
it jammed a ball 3 to 4 times a game and it would eat batteries like there was no tomorrow. this hopper is a waste of money. do not buy. the board fries if you hit 17bps in a burst and if you get a z board it will fry on 20bps.
SpeedBall: Blue 2003 BKO Zen. front block, ergo reg, Jackhammer II LPR, Bigshot, Eggo II, Crossfire 68/4.5K, Dye stickys
Woods: A5RT CMI/Taso barrels, ergo reg, Uknown 68/3k or 20 oz. anti-syphon, offset (custom) Lapco drop
also 4 tippman 98Cs, JT 6.0, F1(45 frame) plus 3 pump guns and 10-12 co2 tanks
Strengths:
Good concept, fast positive feed
Weaknesses:
Lousy execution/ production
Review:
Bought this instead of a Halo B because it was cheaper & I saw a lot of Halo drive motors burn in the stageing area.
Good concept but poor execution............... weak lid hinges, my battery door is taped on becase the rails in the shell halves broke out. ( only 3 sets of batteries)
Maybe Empire can make a working copy???
With 1 hour of real thought & $.50 worth of engineering this could have been something.
Conclusion:
Cheap constuction and lack of detail ruin a good concept.
98c
14'' teardrop
response trigger
evolution 2 with Y board
Strengths:
fast...
realy fast
easy to load paint into
looks like its hard to break
Weaknesses:
i don't no
Review:
THis is a great hopper. Before i got this i had a ricochet that couldn't keep up with my 98c.But this thing can do that and alot more.Everybody says that they have trouble with there battery door but mine is fine and stays on great.
When i had my ricoche i dry fired and it jammed. But now i have this and it is great. i have never dry fired and my gun has never jammed. My bro has an e99 an he used to have a mach 404. THen he got one of these like me and he loves it just as much as i like mine.
Conclusion:
BUy this. I think this is the best loader there is. But if it isnt good enough get the z board for it. With th Z board it would still be cheaper than a halo and in my opinion alot better
