Just the bottle when I didn't have a drop forward. Not quite the same :)
Marker Setup:
M98C, 18" Thunderpig Barrel, Lapco Red Dot Sight, VL 200 Rnd Hopper, 12-20 Ounce CO2, X-Core Expansion Chamber, 5" rop forward, CAR Stock, Double Trigger and Trigger Guard, Rocket Cock
Strengths:
Helps balance
Weaknesses:
Adds weight
Review:
Weaknesses: Well, it adds a little more weight to the gun, and makes it longer, which thusly makes it not so suitable for speedball play. Makes it kind of bulky. Interferes slightly with a rocket cock. It also costs quite a bit. Shakes a little bit when you first get it, but there is a way to tighten it if you mess with it long enough.
Strengths: Steadies aim. If you can't see down the barrel, then you have to adjust the stock. If you've ever shot an M4, you're going to like this product. It is much easier to aim with once you learn how to aim with it. Plus it looks wicked cool. If the Army's been using 'em with success for years it can't be too bad can it?
Conclusion:
If you play a lot of rec ball, get this item. If you play speedball, it will most likely just add dead weight to your gun and be more bulky. If you do play speedball, I would strongly disadvise you from purchasing this. If you've got the cash and play recball, go and get youself one of these. (From the point of view of a Rec ball player if that helps you)
Tippmann 98c with Flatline, collapsible stock , remote line, and bipods
Strengths:
Looks great
Feels more like a real rifle
Weaknesses:
Useless for speedball
Feels flimsy
Review:
I borrowed my friends gun for a rec game, it was the marker setup above. People were very impressed with the way it looked, and it was fairly accurate. Then I got on the field. This thing is like 3 feet long, making it utterly useless for speedball. You can't dive behind bunkers without breaking the gun, or bring it up to shoot fast enough. It also felt like it was going to break the whole day. It rattles, and there is a screw on the bottom that comes loose and the stock just slides around without snapping into a position until to tighten it. I wasn't impressed.
Conclusion:
The stock is a pos. It feels like I'm going to break it every time I hold it, but I guess if you play woodsball it would be a lot more useful.
Ok lets do this.................this thing can make ppl cry no lie hehe......the bad its wayyy too much money 85$$ for a crappy piece of plastic come on, you can aim worth crap with ur mask on at all and noobs are like a magnet to it and its kinda heavy to and it take for ever to put the thing on...
Conclusion:
Sorry i wood not recommend this product to any one i give it a 4.
