Well, we just went through 10 cases of Zap Performance and they shot flawlessly. Guns ranged from STO autococker with Armson stealth barrel (mine) to 68 Automags, Piranhas, Tippmans, Spyders, and normal 2001 AC's. Hardly any breakage and colors are great.
Shot half a case. Half a case too much. Every 5th ball or so broke in the barrel or just as it left the barrel.
Conclusion:
1.Own a J&J Ceramic = Didn't work well.
2. Not all round or consistant
3.Not sure how much crap is a pound? Prices would comare.
4.lesser qualitly than Diablo Blaze. Go with Blaze.
5.I reccommend to all I play against.
They were very good, First off if this was the spyder column i would give it a 1 and the spyder stock barrels, dont get me started. These paintballs are my favorite for my tricked automag w/ hyperframes. I can get out 6bps with my hand and i only break about 1/10000 these are the best
Cheap! Great if you own a business that makes squeegies!
Weaknesses:
You name it! Very inconsistant shape, everything but round! Seams were out of alignment, and lots were oblong in shape. Lots of soft spots on skin - inconsistant thickness.
Conclusion:
You must have a great barrel to shoot this stuff. Stock Kingman barrels chew this paint up like a blender. If you must use Zap get a Lapco Bigshot barrel. Otherwise, get the squeegie out!
I've only had 2 or 3 break in over 4000 rounds using a sypder with a J&J ceramic 14". They are low priced and pretty acurate. Im able to put them out the gun at 6-8 shots a sec. with no breaks. feeds well, shoots well, no breaks. really good fill as well.
Weaknesses:
not a really long shelf life. If not kept well they tend to dimple in storage, but thats in over 2 months in a closet.
Conclusion:
Me and my friends tried it once and we love it. Worked well in a Dye, J&J ceramic, flightline, stock spyder, stock tippman, and S.P. teardrop. Its great paint for the price. Accurate, consistent, doesn't break in barrels, and breaks well on target with a good mark. Just check with your dealer to make sure the paint hasn't been on the shelf too long. See how its been selling. If you get it fresh, its as almost as good as rps and better than powerballs and as good as proballs with better breaks on the target. Cheeper price than all of them.
oh my god! talk about dimples! most had a crater the size of the sun in them! i had about 50 that looked like footballs. i couldnt tell if it was a seam or a wave! talk about peices of crap!
Conclusion:
i would never buy these crap paintballs agian, luckly i bought 500 of them from my friend for 5 bucks, so i didnt waste much money. you would be better off going with seconds!!!
