A-5, GTA response trigger, GTA x chamber, GTA flatline barrel, dead on double trigger.
Strengths:
Comfy, looks, and well thats about it
Weaknesses:
Fogs like no other, sweat collector (padding) doesn't hold much moisture
Review:
This was the first mask I bought. It is an all right mask except that it fogs up if you play for like an hr in back to back rounds. and the padding doesnt hold much sweat and the sweat starts to run down you face which doesnt help with the fogging. Also if you get shot in the mask it is a pain in the @$$ to see for the rest of the day, the only way that I have found to get the paint off the lenses is with a hose ( dont do this if you gonna play in the next 10 min it will fog)
Conclusion:
Buy it if you are a rec player and dont play very seriously
JT invader - jt offers better protection, but doesnt look as good (but who cares)
Marker Setup:
Pilot ACS (red/black)
Cheap gravity hopper
20 oz Co2
Homemade Wood Grips
Lots of camo
Strengths:
Looks Sweet
Cheap ($21 @ dunham's but they go fast)
Weaknesses:
Lack of protection up front
Review:
Ok, i borrowed this from my friend when i didnt have my mask yet (JT invader).. its comfortable, didnt fog on me, looks pretty cool, offered good protection, UNITL, i pop up from some cover and get nailed in the face, right in the mouth. it felt like i got punched in the lip, and i had a mouth full of paint. not cool.
Conclusion:
Good in everything but the protection over the mouth. and my experience sucked. so i have to give it a five. average
Winchester (Fogs alot, light, won't deflect paint at all)
Marker Setup:
E-99 Avant, JJ Ceramics barrel, 20/OZ tank
Strengths:
No fogging, very comfortable, good facial coverage, great venting, inexpensive.
Weaknesses:
Not great at deflections
Review:
I got this mask in a custom package. It comes with a visor which is very handy for night games to shade your eyes from the lights. When I play, I play three hours straight and have never had this fog on me. It has great venting to reduce sweating. This mask is comfortable enough that I don't mind wearing it between rounds, where I see other players that can't wait (and sometimes don't) for the earliest signaled oppertunity.
Conclusion:
I highly recomend this mask. It is perfect for the player on a budget who wants a high quality product.
Mongoose II Reincarnation LCD
20oz. On/Off CO2
VL Quantum Loader
Teardrop Barrel
Strengths:
Cheap price, durabilty
Weaknesses:
Lense hard to get out
Review:
Alright, i picked this up at dunhams when i bought my jt 3.5e kit recently, i wanted another elctro 4 my arsenal. Alright back to the subject, this is a great mask i went out to play paintball and its pretty cold here like 30-40 degrees its spring thats cold 4 spring here, and it didnt fog up. Although i breathed on it and i had to wipe it off. An anti-fog spray will make any lense fine. I sprayed some on and my goggles were clear all day long. I really like this mask especially for the price(30.00) This is a good mask for beginners through intermediatte players, its not as good as an invision or another expensive goggle so i dont recommenhd this to pros.
Conclusion:
Overall good quality, price, looks, durabilty, and cool factor.
About every other major brand of mask on the market
Marker Setup:
A-5, Reactive Triger, V/A
Strengths:
Comfortable
Durable
Breathable
Good Design
Weaknesses:
-Some fogging after period
-Any fogging is hard to remove
Review:
Overall this is a great starter mask. I would not recomend it for those who tend to play wood/senario games that last longer than 30 mins. Its very though, and will take a beating before it shows any signs of wear. It would be a good choice as a backup mask, something to keep around incase your #1 fails or fogs on you.
Conclusion:
Again, good mask to buy if your a beginner. If your a more serious player, I would steer clear.
