Various other compressed air tanks. Prior to this I was running an e99 with co2.
Marker Setup: Sweet custom Minimag, with boomy. ANS valve with intelliframe chromed (blade trigger). I love my gun.... :-)
Strengths: It's compressed air. Mags wont run on anything else... well they shouldn't. Cool semi-accurate guage.
Weaknesses: Heavy. Runs out quickly. Not that cool looking, I suppose thats a judgement call. Once you get under 1000 PSI you start to notice the tank sucking. Basically it lobs a ball or 2, not cool.
Conclusion: I have the 48cu 3000psi version. Basically it's the bottom of the line compressed air tank... and well, you get what you paid for. Most fields you go to, you get to pay for an all day pass, so it's no big deal that you have to fill it 4-5 times.

Don't bother buying this version. If your going to invest in a compressed air system, get something top of the line.

Strengths: This tank is a great up grade for those in more climactic regions it improves consistency and is an exceptional value and it install with no other hardware necessary. The boost from c02 in 70F weather c02 produces 650psi (appx) compared to nitro at a consistent 850 from these tanks.I love this tank!!!!
Weaknesses: The label has ripples in it ensuring at some point it will come off And the logo on the stainless valve is of course a sticker 9/10 times put on crooked....
Conclusion: Tank is great works like promised and looks attractive good price is a definate plus the label is no big deal and the sticker on the valve is a small gripe. The tank is good looking a great performer and a great upgrade from c02

PMI Pure Energy 4500PSI, 88c.i. Carbon Fiber is my first HPA tank.
Marker Setup: Tippmann 98 Custom Pro w/ RT, Plat. series
A5 Cyclone Feeder
Strengths: The gauge seems to work.
Weaknesses: - The air is leaking from the nipple.
Review: After the first air-fill, the tank was slowly leaking air The leak can be heard when you listen closely and the pressure gauge continues to decline. This is the start of my (maybe your) problem.

The store, initially, wanted to fix the problem instead of issuing a return, but they wanted to bill me for repair. I said no, then they offer an exchange but who knows if they give me a refurb.

Bottom line: many people have a similar problem with the leak and to this date, the problem still persist. Ask youself do you want to buy a product from a company who do not listen to their customers.
Conclusion: I have no idea what gives. PMI does not address the problem that has plagued their HPA tanks for some time now and paintball shops still sell their crap...the shops know the customer is going to buy and have problems but will try to charge for repair; the stores are also reluctant to issue an RMA. I would not recommend a PMI HPA tank to any one. Any painballs stores who want to charge for repair should be boycott.

Something Generic
Marker Setup: G3 PMI Piranha BL. All stock. Purchasing New Barrel Soon
Strengths: Inexpensive and Durable
Weaknesses: None
Review: I love this tank. They are inexpensive if you wish to buy multiple tanks (I own a 9 and a 20). They also seem to release less air per shot but with the same amount of velocity as other tanks. My 9oz alone can handle 600-700 balls before emptying.
Conclusion: This tank is an awesome tank that handles air well, not to mention the name sounds cool :)

BROKEN **68/4500 PMI Pure Energy Tank**
Strengths: um....looks good?
Weaknesses: everthing is wrong with it....brand new tank and it leaked the first time filled....
Review: Well let me just say that i bought this tank brand new from some guy near my house...The next week i finally get a chance to get it filled....They fill the tank and when i tried to put it on my gun it leaked until the 4500 psi's were down to 0. Pissed off as i was, i went back to Sportman's Rendevous and TRIED to get it filled again....HAHAHAHAHAH! This is the funny part! THEY SAID THEY COULDNT FILL IT BECAUSE THE WHOLE TOP PIECE WAS BROKEN!!!
Conclusion: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE....GET THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS TOGETHER TO GET A CROSSFIRE OR EVEN A JAVA TANK....JUST NOT THIS ANOTHER P.O.S. PRODUCT FROM A MANUFACTURER WHO REALLY DOESNT CARE! 2 cuz it looks alright
