Different from any other bolt we've ever built, all delrin, and no metal. The bolt also differs from other Tippmann Bolts....It works.
Product Availability
The Shocktech Super Fly Bolt is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Marker Setup: A-5 / Psycho Ballistics A-5 Bolt / E-Grip / Smart Parts Freak Jr. Barrel / T6 Adjustable Stock
Strengths: Helluva better shot
Weaknesses: Gun takes a bit to get used to it.
Review: I went to the Hobby Shop and bought this for my A-5 and went home and installed it. The gun took a few minutes to get used to it but thats o.k. because now it works flawlessly and I love it. It increased the accuracy like 80% and I strongly recommend it.
Conclusion: Great product. Gives a better distribution of air over the ball so it shoots straighter.

More than 5 years
Products Used:
Stock A-5 bolt - this is better
Delrin bolt that came with my power tube - Considering doing a test against this one
Marker Setup: A-5 with polished internals
Sniper Stock
Gold Powertube
Lapco Autospirit
Teflon Front Bolt
stock hopper /50 and 20 round hoppers
Compressed air
Strengths: Not plastic
Works well
Weaknesses: I'm going to call it "False advertising"
Review: So the main reason I got this front bolt is because they advertised the inner o-ring, which is a good idea and makes sense. It was (I believe) the only one like that at the time. If you force all the air down the barrel instead of letting some back, its got to be more consistent. I purchased this and used it for years before I really looked at it.

Upon examining the inner O-ring quite recently, I found that it does not in fact protrude from the inside of the bolt. It sits fully inside the notch in the bolt, so can not touch anything outside of it. For the potentially good idea, this o-ring does nothing, and the bolt might as well just not have it there.

My first thought was maybe there is something wrong with mine, or something has happened to it because its been on for so long. (Honestly, I never felt like the O-ring had contact with the power tube). I sent an e-mail to Shocktech asking if this is user error or a problem that is fixable about 2 weeks ago. I have not heard anything at all back from them, making me think they either don't care about their customers, or I have caught them in more or less a lie. Needless to say, I am not happy with this.

If I do get a response from them, I will edit this, and probably post what they tell me. However, until then, I am going to have to give a poor review only because it doesn't do what it says it does. I've also considered finding the size of the o-ring and getting one that has a smaller inner diameter to see if it does any better. If it does, again I'll edit.
Conclusion: Is it better than the stock bolt? I'm going to say yes. Does it do all it says it does? Definitely not.
5 for being better
-5 for not doing what I bought it for

Review: UPDATE**** no help from shocktech. they sent me back the same bolt saying it was good to go. so i installed it and the same crap!!!!. What a waste of time and money.
i give it a 1. didnt last worth a damn and customer service sucked. :P
Buy something else

*EDIT**** Ran into issues after a month of use. the action started getting tighter and tighter until swelled till point of no return. good while it lasted. but trying to get the thing back to shocktech has taken longer than my ownership of the damn bolt! WTH. Washington is fairly humid but when looking down the bolts bore the step in the derlin is obvious.
with the power tube combos out there and the price im knocking this one down to a 6!!!!!!!!
The original bolt on the US5 wiggle around too much for my liking not to mention trying to cure the fact that it is a gas hog. Happy to say the bolt's action is snug and quieter all round than original bolt. The beveling and location of the front O-ring are 10x better by comparison.Tested on full auto (13bps+) finding it very acccurate and not a chop. A definate MUST buy for a US5 as well as the tipmans.

original bolt is a hack job compared to this one.
Conclusion: Waste of money on somthing that lasted a month
bad customer support
