Violent Products and Techna Trigger have teamed up to bring you one of the best designed ION triggers on the market. The trigger is made of Acetron and incorporates many of the features that are unique to Techna Trigger designs (unique still even after two years of being copied by others). First is the ball bearing pivot. Like the Techna produced triggers, this one also uses dual specialized flanged bearings with extended inner rings. The bearing flanges ensure that no matter how many cycles, or how hard the use, the trigger body will NEVER "walk" off of the bearing to bind on the sides of the grip frame. The extended inner rings work to position the trigger body precisely within the frame so that at no point in its travel is the trigger permitted to rub the frame. Cycle after cycle, use after use, the bearings remain centered in the frame, and the trigger body centered in the bearings. This trigger incorporates a drop in and bolt in place, "digit" pivot pin. This pivot pin will allow you to install and remove the trigger without the fear of damaging the frame or the bearings through hammering. The pin simply pushes through frame and bearings with slight thumb pressure, and is then secured with a small button head screw. There are adjustments for over travel, switch take-up, and magnet tension, making it easy to dial in the trigger feel as well.
Product Availability
The Violent Products Ion Scythe Trigger is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Strengths: Flanged dual bearing. No side to slide slop. Lightweight. Rounded edges for confort.
Weaknesses: There are no weaknesses.
Review: Great trigger. Go buy it. Easily walkable. This is the best trigger that you currently buy in my opinion. If you search other sites you will notice that no on has anything bad to say about it other than it is a little pricy but well worth the price. You get what you pay for.
Conclusion: Great Trigger. High quality bearings.Strong material. You get what yu pay for.

CP Trigger (It's okay, not the best.)
Stock Trigger (Piece of junk. Or rather a piece of plastic.)
Marker Setup: Smart Parts ION
- Scythe Trigger
- CP Regulator
- CP On/Off
- Q-Lock Feedneck
- Ligtening Bolt
- Halo B
- 45/45 PMI Nitrogen Tank
Strengths: - Lightweight
- Design (Personal preference)
- Easy Installation
Weaknesses: None.
Review: This is the best trigger for the ION. It's shape gives it its strength, making it easy to walk. Installation is a simple thing, it comes with an installation manual. The box contents are as follows:
- Scythe Trigger
- Magnet
- Trigger pin
- Two allen wrenches

This is perhaps the best trigger that will ever grace the ION. It's design is well made and the color of it matches the ION frame. What more could you want?
Conclusion: Get this trigger. It will be one of the best purchases you'll make for the ION.

Weaknesses: Not one at all
Review: The Scythe is made by two amazing companies violent products and techna triggers. Techna triggers for intimidators have a 4 month wait on them because they are so amazing. The ion trigger is so fast. If you want you can get it so close that everytime you pull the trigger it will bounce. Key feature if ramping is not allowed. It also comes with a new trigger pin and 2 allen wrenches
Conclusion: Buy this trigger over any other ion trigger. I have used the CP and the new designz roller for the ion and neither of them are as nice or as fast as the scythe. This trigger is well worth the money.

Light & snappy pull
No side to side play
Weaknesses: I guess the price(Read review)
Review: Well I was looking for a new trigger and this one caught my eye. So I bought if off the Internet for $30 with free shipping. I guess the regular price is a lot more so I guess i got it for a good price. Once I got it I noticed it was easy & quick to install. I only put one magnet in & it still feels really light.
Conclusion: I'm going to give it a 10 because out of the two best triggers (this trigger & the cp) this is coming out to be the winner. No side to side play and it feels better.

Review: ive heard great things about this trigger, so i decided what the hell, and bought it, so i recieve it, and i get it, SWEET im thinkin, so i open up the package, mkay, trigger, magnets, trigger, mag... wait, no digit pin or button head screw, so i call vp up, they ship me out a digit pin and button head right away, no big deal at all, took 2 days, so i get it, install it, and put my ion back together. Then i relize i had forgoten to put the magnets in, BUT when i pull the trig, it still returns perfectly, and is lighter than a mouse clik, and thats not an exageration, so i start tunin it, and i get it to like a 2 mm pull, so i start walking the thing, IT IS AMAZINGLY SMOOTH, THE SMOOTHEST TRIGGER I HAVE USED ON ANY GUN, and its so easy to got on it, i could walk that thing all day, its just incredible. Then comes the issue of the shape, its very comfortable, ur middle finger is naturally farther than ur pointer, so it needs to hit the trigger at the same point as ur pointer to effectivly walk the trigger constantly, and this is just the way it needs to be. This trigger is one of the best upgrades ive bought for my ion, and is the best trigger i have ever used
Conclusion: 10/10 No contest, this is the best ion trigger money could buy, and it actually made me keep my ion, i was gonna sell it and buy a proto matrix, but when this trigger came in, no way, my ion aboslutly rips

Strengths: Very nicely shaped *see body*
Nice and SnappY
Easy Install
Weaknesses: ON my team mates trigger the tip chipped a little, rare case
Review: first impression of this trigger when you get it should be that it looks really cool. It comes with a New trigger pin, 2 rare magnets so that you can adjust the snappyness of your pull, and of course the trigger. Installation is very simple, just remove your grip frame, then with a small punch/allen wrench, knock out the trigger pin gauge side faceing down. Then simply pull out the old trigger, put in the VP, like up the bearings then put in the trigger pin they give you. Then you can easily adjust how snappy you want your trigger with 1-2- or 0 magnets. I found that the best is 1 magnet, no bounce and snappy. Teh trigger pull is easy to adjust. Walking it feels very nice because of the way its shaped, its made like a wave. Naturaly when you are holding a .45 frame your middle finger sticks out more so it fits your hand perfectally.
Conclusion: BUY IT, all of the other triggers do not compare. Because of the weight and dual bearing its just the smoothest trigger ever, and it has no side to side play.
