The Razor Ion from ANS Xtreme Performance is the best and most affordable Ion on the market. Why spend hundreds of dollars upgrading your stock Ion when you can buy it all for one low price. The Razor Ion includes the 6 Ounce aluminum body, Roller Trigger, 90 degree frame, and QEV.
The ANS Razor Ion is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

I played with the ANS ION for about two months and it was ok. Now dont get me wrong, I love the ION (not the ANS ION) I think it can be a great gun it you have the money to put in it. But the ANS is not worth the money compared to the regular SP ION. In my opinon it would be better to go buy a stock SP ION and put a Virtue board in it with the money you saved then you would have a sick 25BPS ION. The main flaws with the ANS ION are becase of the body kit and grip frame. When you pair up the ANS body kit and grip frame it makes the Ion fill uber big and it is also heavy. The 90 grip frame should never belong on the ION it makes shooting okward. All in all it is a ok starter gun but it could be better, all of its problems are external and the workings of it are fine.
Save your money buy a diferent gun.

The body kit on this ion puts a lil more weight.
T have had this gun fore like a year its a good gun if your just starting to play speed ball i prefer to use my shocker nxt i am actually trying to sell this gun so i can get a etek but back to the review it is'nt the best i would just buy a regular ion and up it this body kit puts a lil more weight on the gun that i dont like i am use to light guns i use this gun if in a tournament my shocker brakes down i have a back up. well me and this gun have been through it is good if you are just are going to play reck ball it is reliable and it gets good air you can get a halo and like i think 2 to 3 pods with a 68/3000 but i waste paint so thats not enough for me.
Its good if your just starting speed ball and the price is ok i think its like 400 that might be wrong it might be 450 but if your a serious tornement player i would get like a dm or a shocker
contract killer grips
its an ion, its made to be upgraded. definetely the barrel though, the stock one is crap.
well I've had this gun for a while and can honestly tell you that it kicks ass. for 250 this gun is just about impossible to beat. to start off, the body is sweet. I took it to the shop and all 3 guys in there gave me comments about how bad ass it looked. the 90* frame is also much easier to rip with than a 45 frame, only the trigger guard sticks out too much so you can't hold the top half of the reg. the body looks sweet but its pretty heavy. the trigger is easy to walk and adjust but the side play can get annoying at times. since these are what set a razor ion apart from a regular ion I decided to get them out of the way first. now, first, the weaknesses. the kick on this gun is pretty bad but nothing that'll really bother you once you get used to it. not to mention I bet that kick would be pretty much gone if you got a lighter bolt. its also a hassle to maintain because it takes a good 5 minutes to take it apart and lube the bolt then put it back together. this can be fixed by a bolt out back body. the consistancy is +-9 with everything stock but that should probably one of the things you try and tighten up first. the feedneck was pretty much an ignorant oversight on SP's part. its a huge hassle and pretty much has to be replaced. now for the good part. even with a crap stock barrel it shoots a pretty consistant group. the speed is capped but 17 bps is still damn fast. even though the body is heavy its still much lighter than any other marker I've ever owned. now for the best part. I like to tinker and since this is any ion, it probably has more aftermarket parts than any other gun in existance.
I would recommend buying this gun if you will eventually have the time and money to buy aftermarket parts. that way you can really make this gun your own and increase the performance immensely. if you can't then you should go with another gun. due to the problems that were basically oversight on SP's part I'll give it an 8. its still an excellent gun though. sorry for the long winded review that probably didn't make any sense.
