The MR1 will take a beating and keep on firing! The slide out pull pin, field strippable bolt, and full-length stock (optional) make the MR1 an easily operated and highly accurate scenario marker with military resilience and stability. This semi-auto marker won't rust even when you're trekking through the wettest terrain, and you?ll never need to worry about batteries because there aren?t any electronic parts!
Product Availability
The Kingman Spyder MR1 is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Marker Setup: Stock
Recommended
Upgrades:
e trigger, electric hopper and possibly a longer barrel
Strengths: Cheap, decently accurate
Weaknesses: Not vary durable
Review: My friend picked up this gun not to long ago and loved it at first. The price is pretty low, and kinda looks cool, with the double trigger and stock that comes with it. But the gun has only been getting worse over time, it started with the velocity adjuster witch the stock cover when on. Now it is just shooting out air.
So in other words it may seem col at first but really isn't that great.
Conclusion: I really wouldn't recommend this gun on the facts that its pretty slow, not that sturdy and their really aren't to many upgrades for this gun even if you wanted to make it better. I might recommend the electric version though, for the price.

Marker Setup: Electic Fast 9v loader Smart Parts 16" barrel(with extention)
Recommended
Upgrades:
New trigger(its decent as stock but adding a better trigger would help), a new barrel, Electic hopper (it chops alot with a cheap plastic hopper)
Strengths: Impressivly accurate, fairly durable, sleek design, Cool arm extension, packs a punch, easy to clean
Weaknesses: If you try to tweak it out it breaks easy your better off with stock
Review: Well its a great gun but trust me do not try to tweak it out and take it apart its hard to get it all together and make it work normally after taking it apart its perfect for bush ball very stylish packs a solid punch of paint at opponents
Conclusion: well its a great gun but if your going to get a spyder go with a rodeo or TL-X

Review: This is mmy first Gun and I know it will alyawys be a gun to keep. I know that the gun is heavy however there are deffently better buns out there to start with. Don't get me wrong but whenever I get a new gun I will deffently use my MR1 as a backup.
Conclusion: Good gun to start not the gun to keep forever.

new grip
Strengths: Very accurate
Easy to upgrade
Very easy to fix
Weaknesses: Loud
Chops
Hard to put accesories on
Review: Its a good marker for a begginer player to start with. You can use is for scenario play and speedball. If your a more experienced player I would suggest to save your money and buy a tippmann A5.

Over all i would give this marker a 7. It has a weird feel when you first hold it, but if your looking for an affordiable marker and your a noob its a good gun. REPLACE THE STOCK, ITS WAY TO SMALL!
Conclusion: Its ok. Get A-5 and upgrade.

New barrel the stock is not good.
Strengths: Cheep
Some what reliable
Weaknesses: Chop balls
Not very accurate
Review: This is an O.K. gun. It chops balls but not alot just only when you shoot fast. It is somewhat reliable because my little brothers mr1 looks lke crap but still works(not that great). The barrel that comes with this is terrible you need to get a better barrel. The good thing about this gun is tough its cheep. My little brother got his for $100. The stock is ok, it helps with the aiming.
Conclusion: Not much to say about this gun, its pretty boring. If your a beginner i highly suggest tippmanns but if your on a budget this will do.

Review: I was paintballing and my mr1 broke a ball in the chanber and jamed the bolt so i could not shoot. then later in the day the gun was not taking in air. so don't spend the money on it buy the tippmann. Spyders suck my experiance with them has turned me off spyders for life go tippmann or bt better gunsd.
Conclusion: Crappy gun

A different marker
Strengths: Ummm... I dont think there is any
Weaknesses: Inaccurate
Heavy
Slow(that'ss not saying much b/c its not electronic)
Gas Hog
Review: If you make a paintball gun that is not electronic, and has at least a 7 pound trigger pull, why would you put a double trigger on it? answer me that, and I'll pay you $50. This is a sad excuse for a paintball gun, I'd be more accurate if I spit the paintballs at people. I hooked my 4500 68 tank to it, and I only played about 3 rounds until it ran out of air.
Conclusion: Dont buy this gun, buy a 98 custom, ion, or mr2 or 3, the mr1 is not a paintball gun, its crap
