This is a new bolt made by Smart Parts for the Smart Parts Ion marker. It is lighter, quiter, has better efficiency, has less kick, and is very inexpensive. The Firebolt weighs 16 grams, and has an milled center, much like the TechT L6 bolt.

I just bought this thing and im copletly satisfied with its performance. the first day i played with it i could see a difference in accuracy and shots per tank......oh yea and it tacks on about two more bps to whatever your currently shooting....hehe it doesnt realy make it more quite but who cares it speedball....or atleast for me..lol

Man, I love the way this bolt made my gun fire and feel. I personally had no idea that a bolt would make that much of a difference. I can go pretty much all day on one fill of my 68/45. Before I had this bolt in my gun I had most everything else upgraded including the Virtue and QEV. Until I put this bolt in my gun I did not have no where no the efficiency that it has now. I will go ahead and say that I hated the Unicorn Bolt. Waste of time and money. I got lucky and was able to return. Anyway. You can barely feel the gun firing. So nice and smooth. It's great. And the sound. I have always loved how quiet the Shockers are and now mine is just as quiet. Gotta love it. People spend boat loads on a gun and the ION is cheap and a blast to upgrade. The only thing that I found that made me wonder about this bolt was how much do you need to lube it up. Well let me tell you. I heard a leak down my barrel and spent two or three days trying to figure it out and it turned to be not having enough lube on the darn thing. So if you buy this bolt make sure that you lube it up good enough.

although it seemed to work well at first, nobody in their right mind would recommend something that broke after so little time. I was playing at a friends house and my ion xe started pissing air, I thought it was an o-ring but when I removed the firing can the bolt came out in 2 pieces.

i have been hearing all these people talk and debating about the firebolt and the L6 lightening bolt and i had some money so i thought i would try them both out my self and this is what i came up with:
L6 Lightening Bolt: when i put this bolt into my gun i instantly noticed the weigh difference so then i went out and fired it and the change was so amazing, it shot faster and smoother and since there was no kick at all it made it alot more accurate too, then a few days after i played a couple of games with it and it was great, my game changed so much and the part that impressed me the most was that i got 500 more shots out of my tank
Fire Bolt: after i used the L6 Lightening Bolt i took that out and put in the fire bolt and it was ok, it wasnt as lite as the L6 but i was still kind of lite, next i went out and fired it and it was a little better than the stock bolt but not as much as i had hoped for, there was still a little kick and it fired a little faster but it was still no comparison to the L6, then when i played a game with it it was ok but all my friends kept on asking me what happend?
so if you are thinking of buying the fire bolt i highly suggest you to get the L6 lightening bolt instead, it is worth the extra what $15 which is nothing
Conclusion:
The L6 Lightening Bolt is way better and the fire bolt is a piece of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
