For more than two years we have looked for ways to create a paintball marker that captures all the elements of this sports futures including looks, rate of fire, efficiency, and feel. We have achieved these goals and will bring to market the NEW VS Series markers, built with 3G technology including a patent pending low pressure, high performance Balance Valve. The Spyder VS2 with Infiniti Trigger and Spyder VS3 with Rocking Trigger will utilize this 3G technology Balance Valve, making the marker operational at 200psi while maintaining incredible speed and ultimate comfort.

Looking for ways to evolve the Spyder product line, the VS Series paintball markers will include features like Break Beam Eyes, Electronic functions with a dual touch switch, a mini C/A regulator with on/off dial, a vertical adapter with low pressure gauge, a 12? two piece micro ported barrel, a low rise adjustable feed neck, and a Delrin bolt with lock cocking knob. The Spyder VS2 will come standard with the VS Infiniti Trigger providing a fluid feel to the marker with a 25 shot per second firing rate. The VS3 will come standard with a VS Rocking Trigger allowing up to 30 shots per second with two contact points for a maximum rate of fire. Both markers will maintain a sleek all Aluminum body style allowing the user to feel connected to the speed, and accuracy of the VS Series.

Knowing that all paintball players are unique, we have created custom dust finish color Body Kits to individualize your VS marker. The custom five piece Body Kits will come available in Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue and will include eye covers, feed neck, low pressure chamber, rubber fore grip, and a striker plug. Also available is the Spyder 14? two piece Aero twist barrel with optional color tips to enhance the look, and accuracy of the VS marker.

The fluid all Aluminum VS Series receiver design protects the internal 3G technology patent pending Balance Valve that allows the marker to operate at 200psi. While keeping state of the art design in mind, we have developed this custom valve that can attribute to the speed, and ?never before experienced? feeling you get while shooting the VS Series markers. The 3G technology also incorporates a lightweight striker, softer springs, and an increase in chamber capacity enhancing the low pressure functionality of the VS marker.
Product Availability
The Kingman Spyder VS3 is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Review: Seriously, this gun, altho my first, is everything u can wish for. I have watched tons of tourneys and this gun can compete with the rest of them. Trigger is light and allows high firing speeds and the whole gun is like even with the air tank on it! seriously, there are no weaknesses i can find with the VS3
EDIT: well, after quite a lot of usage, the stock barrel isnt the best bt it is better than average for stock. the gun still shoots nice with barely ny kick. i still bleve it can compete with tourney guns as it shoots smoothly at fast speeds at L.P. Jus coz its a blowback doesnt mean ut cant compete as how many tags u get is mainly up to the player, not the gun. just a new barrel and u'll go an even longer way
Conclusion: Gd gun for gd price, highly recomend!

Review: What can i say? i wasnt sure wheter the VS3 would make it but here i am loving this awsom marker. Light trigger pull plus rocking trigger ensures ur adrenalin is being fed. Ripping at the trigger will definately make you smile ;) It has pretty good stock accuracy but u'l start wanting a new barrel after a month or so as at rapid ROF u'll notice a slight curve at the end of ball flight making those long range shots a pain in the bottom. For this price u cant go wrong . the feed neck, on contrare to wat others hav sed, will hold on to ur hopper wen tightened, no problem. Som say that no auto is a flaw in this marker bt im afraid i hav to disagree, The rocking trigger is far mor fun to use and u'll look cooler too wen the cameraman gets a pic of ur fingers walking like mad. The eyes are very accurate and i havnt had a chop yet! The only minor flaw is the barrel shroud which many other have mentioned. It is a pain but a quick mod with a dremil and no problems once again. This is truly a marker worth havin a look into if u are looking for a cheap, torunament upgrade.

Conclusion: Good price, easily maintained and great stock. Not much need to look further IMO. It gets a ten for exceeding my expectations

Review: well i just got this gun yesterday and tested it the same day.............
firs of....i love how it looks.
its black and sexy, the shape of it is awsome, that being said here are the pros and cons..( remember i have only tested it once so dont take me to seriously)

Pro.

FAST!!! this gun is so fast....the rocking trigger does its job i was shoting faster than my entire team and they all have ions.......

very acurate for a stock barrel.......i mean its not the best thing but you can play with it untill you save up money for a beter barrel......no problem....

the eyes work perfectly i mean not a single break all day............

it comes with a stock ON & OFF switch.......witch is allways nice to have..........

the leds are very easy to understand.......just a quick look at the manual and i was good to go.....

the element of sorprise (sorry about the spelling) every one on the field was telling me that spyders suck and that the could kick my ass and all of that..
but wen the time came to play...........i owned the field...........we won, and at the end of the game people were asking me if they could hold it and try it out.........the same people that were dizzing it earlier....

ok now for the cons.....

CON.

the feed neck is not the best, i would have to tighten it after every game or my hopper would fly off.....

the grips are not all the way up against the trigger frame so they leave a little opening and you can se the circuit board inside thats a problem because if you play in dirt.........it can get in and damage the electronics of the gun but some new grips should solve that, or if your like me and dont have the money at the time just use some scotch tape or something to cover it up...........

the c/a adapter moved a little out of the box you could feel the tank move wile you play but a little screw tightening will solve that.......

the only other thing i can think of is that it only haves 2 modes of fire.....
semi.
and
3 shot burst

not a problem for me because i only use the semi mode.....but to some this can be an isue.

thats it.....
Conclusion: well i would defenetly recomend this gun to any one, many will tell you that an ion is beter and cheaper but i dissagree, this gun is just as good if not beter than moust ions.........for a little mor money....

besides its a kingman so its very easy to clean and field strip.....
the parts for it are cheaper than moust and will last longer....

if you have the money buy this gun.........forget ions...........spyider VS3 is the new big dog on the field.

i would give it a 9 because nothing is perfect....but in this case ill make an exeption....

Weaknesses: Some factory problems
Review: I first of all felt obligated to write a review because im always reading them and they help me alot. im a new player to this wonderful sport and this is my first marker. It was easy for me to adjust to the rocking trigger because it was the first one i ever had. some people and some reviews say its to hard but my friends who have never used it figured it out in 15 seconds and loved it. the first time i used the gun i sent of a few shot without firiring because i wasnt used to such a sensitive trigger. after a couple games though that problem went away. another great thing about this marker is its very easy to clean. Its also very quiet, sometimes when you shoot opponents dont even realize your shooting till they see the paint fly by. The thing that gets me hooked on this marker other than everything else on it is the accuracy. its extremely accurate and youll hit what your aming for unless gravity gets in the way. the marker is also very light weight and great stock. This gun has eyes so it wont normally chop with them on. Just like all guns they will chop once or twice but after shooting about 2500 round i haven't experienced one that i can think of. a great advantage of this gun is that after playing a full day of paintball with alot of games involved, i only went through one tank of air and it was the one i filled before we played. this thing is an air saving machine.

There are several negatives to this marker. one of them is that when i hold it for a long time without putting it down i start to feel pain in beetween my thumb and pointing finger. maybe i just hold the marker wrong who knows. another problem was that i had a gas leak coming from my pressure gage. i took it to the shop and in a minute it was fixed, no charge.

6/18/07
ive encontered some new factory problems. one of the is that the fore grip on the gun wobles. another is that the ASA also wobles. im sure the ASA is easy to fix and im planning to fix it but im not sure how im going to fix the wobling of the fore grip. i think im gonna take it to my local shop. the last thing is that the back LED button cover fell off. i dont think thats much of a problem though.
Conclusion: This is a great marker good for anything with no real flaws except the factory problems. it shoots fast, is light wieght, quiet, inexpinsive for a good marker and great for highly skilled players and begginers alike. Add some comments, this is my first review and id like to know how i did if you wanna buy one http://www.pbreview.com/forums/t415119/

Strengths: speed

eye
LP air
Weaknesses: Barrel shround its kinda annoying it dont see why the have it
Review: Well first off on forums and certain places you will hear a bad rap on the vs3 because of the rocking trigger. but personaly i think its great i got really big hands and i can get my gun going too around 25-28 bps (took a few months practice) i have never once broke a ball playing indoor x ball and ive used probly 10 case of paint. i never really had any problems with the vs3 at all its a great gun eye works great. there is only two minor downfalls 1 there is kind of a shround on the body which is for astecis only and prevents you from using certain barrels. I recommend using a dremmel and instead of really cutting them off grind it down about a 16th of an inch and it gives you plent of room. they only other down side is its a little heavy personaly im a pretty big guy i play center in football and work out 2hours a day so its not a problem for me. but my younger brother being smaller and a little young has trouble with keepin it up 100% of the time and prefers to use my ion (lighter because not hpa tank also) even tho its only 17pbs compared to my 25-28

AND BY THE WAY

people are saying its not turrny legal is mostly fasle they only major turny u cant use them in is PSP but ive never been to a local or provicnal turny where it was banned.
Conclusion: it is an unbeatable gun for the price. its low matitnace and is incredably fast and is legal in almost every turny exept PSP

Review: I am just stating my experience with this marker.
I got this marker for $250 when it came out and I was expecting it to be a great gun and the owner said it was very reliable and wouldn't let me down. It turned out to be the exact opposite of that. The first time I went to the field I screwed in the compressed ai tank and I heard a loud leak and everybody around me looked over wondering what it was. The leak was so loud you could easily hear it from fifteen feet away.
So I went back to the store where i bought it and asked them to see what was wrong with it. After two hours he said he fixed it and it should work. Sure enough I went back to the field a week later hoping I would finally get to use it. I handed the gun and the air tank to the employee who chronographs them and it leeked again and said he couldn't fire it. After that I drove back to the paintball store I purchased it at and got a refund.
Conclusion: I was very dissapointed with this gun and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for reliability. This gun leaked like a Brass Eagle for $200 dollars more. But I have to say that I was impressed by the rate of fire 0-bps.

really fast hopper like a eggy 3 or faster and a barrel thats all unless you play psp games
Strengths: Trigger, frame, wieght, low pressure and the durability it wont ever ever break
Weaknesses: Barrel thats all and maybe a different bolt pin
Review: i lke the overall gun. its very light and durable. the bolt pin is very easy to remove and it

rarely chops it chops maybe every 600 balls. but i got the new bolt pin and i never have

chopped since then. the barrel you get with it is alright for a begginer but since i got the

freak barrel its so darn accurate. i can shoot a metal plate that has a radius of 3

inches. its ridiculous. the trigger is awsome i easliy get 19 balls per second on semi

auto. my clamping feed neck holds both of the hoppers very great. the frame work on

the gun is great i recommend i to shop for this gun on ANSGEAR.COM its the best

price on the net its only 179.99. if you play up front i reccomend the empire hopper but if

not get the fasta but if you only play woodball get the fasta. the cross fire is really nice

also.
Conclusion: GO TO ANSGEAR.COM really cheap great customer service best ive had in years

I have used a Smart Parts shocker, and the Spyder Imagine previously, just borrowing my friend's guns. The shocker works really well, easy trigger and very light. It's a good one to get for a tournament. The Imagine has a pretty thick trigger but it shoots pretty accurately, it's light, and it hardly chops. The vs3 is pretty light, i think 3.5 lbs. or so and it works significantly well with rocking trigger. The clamp for the hopper NEEDS to be upgraded because it turns out to be a big drag having to screw it on so much to the point where you can still move the hopper when flicking it (35$ or so). I just recently bought a blue end barrel. I didn't realize it is actually longer than the first one. Not needed, but it can look pretty cool.
Marker Setup: I use vs3 with 3k psi compressed air, VLocity3 hopper (black), blue end barrel, and of course, the great rocking trigger (comes equipped).
Recommended
Upgrades:
Well...
The barrel upgrade (color) or extension is always fun to buy. It's around 25-35 bucks, with an accuracy and/or distance booster.
Should get the hopper clamp upgrade.
Strengths: Rocking Trigger.
Shoots up to 30bps
Pretty light....
Weaknesses: BIG FACTORY PROBLEM*****. They didn't tighten the Air O-ring tight enough.
Review: The Spyder vs3 is a good gun to buy. It is mainly a beginner gun. It shoud last quite a long time. If you are a tournament guy, this gun is not recommended. Smart Parts if the direction to head for that. I shoot my vs in my backyard all the time, it shoots pretty accurate, and it takes a while for the ball to finally start curving down. I ran out of air once in a game. The shots we TERRIBLE, shooting up, down, left, Diagonal??, so always make sure you're good on air with this gun. My friend has the same gun but he uses co2. That's very unreccomended. This gun shoots a lot, ideal for compressed air. Make sure you get the appropriate upgrade.
Conclusion: It's Plenty good!!
good for beginners, like me.
I'm loving it so far.
It's the gun to get if you like ramping.
or any gun with auto is good too.
this thing only has 3 shot and semi,
unfortunately.

GOOD GUN TO GET.

Upgrades:
Feedneck, barrel if you can find one that fits.
Strengths: The rocking trigger feels very good.
Weaknesses: Feedneck design, the ball detents.
Review: I purchased this marker after a friend bought his and he recommeded it. Nice looking marker.
Likes: The body style is pretty cool looking to me. The rocking trigger is nice. Pretty fast. Accuracy is pretty darn good. At our field's practice range, I can hit a small credit card size target 8 out of ten 10 shots from about fifty feet away doing single aimed pulls. Low operating pressure is also pretty good, not an air hog. Typically I get about a full loader plus four 140 rd. pods and use up maybe a little over 1000 psi of air with an operating pressure of 200.

Dislikes: Out of the box, noticed the ASA and vertical grip were very loose. Easy fix tightening the screws up. Had minor problems with it the first time out playing. The on/off button cover fell off exposing the buttons. The tournament lock switch inside the grip came loose off the connection and unable to use the 3 shot burst until the little red tab was placed back on its connection. Initially had a Viewloader select force loader and it did not fit very well with the feedneck. Switched to Reloader B and way better fit. Now for my biggest headache. The ball detents on this marker do not last. The rubber gets ripped as the bolt slides over it after time. Me and my friend have gone thru both sets that came w/ the marker. Play in somewhat humid conditions so that may factor in the problem (Delrin bolt swelling). Have contacted Kingman numerous times (email)trying to get replacement detents but no response. The customer support is non existent with my personal experience with Kingman. Not even the dealer I bought the marker from is able to get detents as of yet. Gun is useless if balls roll out of the barrel. So I currently use Bob Long Intimidator detents since they fit kinda good. But not optimal for the VS3. Not sure if the spyder detents fit. But even the B.L. detents get ripped after a weekends use. Constantly changing out the detents. The feedneck is not the best design. If your loader has a little longer neck, it may not sit snug. Eventually switched to a Hybrid feedneck with (impulse thread). For now, limited or no performance upgrades. Only cosmetic stuff. Not much aftermarket barrels will fit doue to the protruding body just above the barrels threads.
Conclusion: I like the rocking trigger on this marker. It shoots pretty fast and I like its accuracy for a stock marker. Hated the stock feedneck, the ball detent isues, and some other minor problems. Maybe a bad apple out of the bunch? If I had a chance to go back in time knowing what I know, would not buy this marker. Customer service/support sucked.

Review: I have been using this marker for a few months now and I have really gotten comfortable with it. The only real issue that I have had with the marker is that the regulator will loosen up after a good days play. Not to the point of falling off but it will give the tank some wiggle. I need to get some lock tight and it will be all good.

This is a really good marker for the price. You can probably find them for cheaper when the RS and RSX hit the market.

As mentioned before the feed neck is meh. I'm getting a new one soon. I haven't had any issues with the one that comes stock.... I just don't like the turning one that comes with the marker. Also, get a good loader. It will definately make a difference.

Conclusion: This is a good marker. The only draw back is that it only comes with the rocking trigger. I got a deal with mine that came with the VS2 trigger. If not for that I would have gotten a VS2. I think that I'm also going to look into a drop forward. That should make the marker more comfortable...
