Ohh the people who say it fogs up so much .HA HA!!! Ya if you breath on it or go in a hot shower with it.
Weaknesses:
Java Held back to make this cheaper then the real Navius.
The lens is a softer then the raven::Get hit by twigs and there will be scratches::
Dose not come with the Visor :but what I herd they are not to cry about::

The ear area is were the strap is held is pointy near you ears so you will have to were some this to cover your ears::Sock hat,beanie,Du Rag,and Bandanas::

The new lens that you can buy only come in clear no other color... But they still do that cool tint thing :D
Conclusion:
A cool buy if you don't what a JT mask and you don't have enough money to get a Dye,V-force,and the Raven Nuvis-1 2.0.
Vary stylish comes in Blue,green,Red and Black.
The 2 foam pad layer is vary lovely:: buy sticky when you get it so put water on you finder and rub out the extra glue or you hair will be stuck and it hurts!!!
Small imperfections that are easy to fix and/or cope with You will love it.
You are vary easy to be found by team mates so they don't shoot you :)
I give it a 9 because has some things that were taken away to make it cheaper But I love it Probably be my mask till I try the more Higher end mask.
Never fogged up on me, Great vision, light yet stays on head, came with my Java Compact so I saved Money, Looks kick ass and original.
Weaknesses:
If you dont put it on right then the ear guards can stick into your ears but that is easily remidied.
Conclusion:
Great mask, keeps out paint, And I got hit by my friend in the mask When I was Wearing the Prowlers and my mouth Got all Painty, But he Hit me when I had the Nuvis on And My Mouth Was Dry
This mask has THE most advanced lens on the market today - period. The photochromatic lens is the most stunning feature. Its uncanny ability to react to UV and sunlight intensity and give corresponding tint is remarkable. This will save you an unbelievable amount of hassle and trouble when conditions change. The most intense feature about this mask is most notable on days when you have clouds and sun alternating sky time. I cannot say enough great things about the photochromatic lens! IT RULES OUTRIGHT!
Weaknesses:
Despite this masks remarkable photochromatic lens ability, it is not thermal. I go to college in Washington DC and when we play in the woods under tree canopy's with any temperature over 70 and humidity over 60 (particularly after a day of rain, and that is often), this mask needs to be retired. It outright sucks in fould conditions. Speedball, hyperball, tourney play - all not impacted by this condition however. The open air, even in very humid conditions, will not fog the Nuvis-1. So moral of the story, GREAT tourney mask, anywhere. BAD mask in hot and humid conditions under tree canopy's in the south, northeast, midwest during summer. I live full time in California, and let me tell you that I have yet to have a SINGLE fog issue here in well over 20 times out. Also, the visor needs trimming because it comes too far back, not a big deal at all though if you have ever used a sharp edge though.
Conclusion:
If you live in one of the aforementioned areas, make sure you have a thermal as a back up so your day is not ruined by foul weather. Use this mask when the humidity is low and moisture is not locked in the air by things such as tree canopy's. If the day is not that humid, and you are playing in open areas (ie. Speedball, or open woods games), THERE IS NOT A BETTER MASK ON THE MARKET. Conclusion, the Raven Nuvis-1 is the best mask in the world, provided the conditions are not too abhorent. Its performance is so outstanding when conditions are right that I am tempted to give it a 10, but since it is a "conditions specific" mask, then I have to deduct a point.
