Marq 7 Rapper
pillow/QD bolt
4 eyes
"Marq'd for Death" grips (until I get tadao grips for the LED screen)
14" marq barrel
Recommended Upgrades:
Not sure what barrel is coming with this gun now but when I got mine it came with the stock 12" assassin's barrel and I would suggest upgrading to a 14 inch CP 1 piece or the Marq 2 piece barrels.
4 eyes
pillow bolt
aftermarket board (I'm partial to Tadao OLED)
Strengths:
Very light
very consistent
ACCURATE
it's a Bob Long product...
Weaknesses:
Maybe efficiency? Don't have the high efficiency bolt though...
Review:
This gun is great for everyone to use, and actually isn't as expensive as suggested. Just like all of the Bob Long products you can trust this gun to go the length. Many of the problems that you hear about are because the user doesn't know how to take care of their gun. I know there are a couple of good videos on youtube about cleaning and lubing your Marq that I found really helpful.
Overall this gun is a great product and with the upgrades available it makes it that much better. This gun is great right out of the factory, but throw 4 eyes, a pillow bolt, an aftermarket board, and a nice 14" barrel and you will find yourself with one of the best guns available. I haven't had any problems yet after about 25 cases of paint the only maintenance I've done is some cleaning and lubing. Learn how to take care of your marker (no matter what you have) and you will make it last a lot longer. The Marq 7 Rapper is an awesome marker and I don't plan on replacing mine for a very long time.
Conclusion:
I recommend the Rapper to anyone who is looking for a consistent and accurate marker, besides the fact that it looks great this gun will take you a step above the competition. Throw some upgrades on it and you will be shooting people out left and right.
