New upgrades from the previous F-4 include a much more
comfortable 45-Grip frame, new wide trigger shoe, and the
trigger pull of only 2.2 lbs.! The gun has no external moving parts
meaning less maintenance and less chance of breakdowns. All
moving parts are hardened or hard anodized for long life. ACI's
new patented valve system is proven to be the most air efficient
in the industry allowing the F4 to operate in all temperature
ranges with over 800 shots off of your 9oz. tank.
The ACI F4 Illustrator is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.
Freak Factory Impulse, 68ci tank, back up:20 ounce tank, Halo B hopper
none really, the single trigger is great!
Single trigger, good reliability!
I used this at the local field for about eleven months as I was saving up for my Impulse... I got to use the gun for free because I work at the local field. I went out for about a half hour of paintball for around five dollars since I am a ref there. I used this gun and it never broke a ball I was using crappy BE paint but it still sent those balls flying at a good speed. I loved the single trigger which I love because I am so used to firing at fast speeds with a single trigger, Double triggers require more muscle, its true they do!
-I loved the colour my friend customly painted it, now its LIme green with a black flame going down the barrel. I loved the accuracy of this sweet a** gun. I hit about three people point blank, I think they did not know I was underneath the bunker. But hey thats okay. They are pros, haha maybe not, but they took it well and laughed, not cried like the New bs. Well I hope you love this gun

MiniMag w/ 32 Degrees blue flame drop fwd. red KAPP adapter and the reg from a 2000 cocker in my vert adapter
J+J ceramic barrel, expansion chamber from ACI (works good) maybe some air and some paint, that always helps paintball guns (i mean markers) work better
Very reliable, I loved this gun while i had it, some people have said that the trigger was hard...i think they suck, why are you looking at the trigger performance of a $150 gun/marker? you do that on Angels and a Matrix, or a Shocker or a Cocker.
this gun will always be ready to play whenever you are
impressive performance for the under $200 range (better than any tippman)
nothing wrong, performance like this for $150?!!! are you kidding?! you pay like over $200 for a Tippman and what do you get a very reliable black plastic box with a metal tube coming out one end.
Kenny doesn't know what he is talking about, all rental guns suck it doesn't matter what gun they started out with, it will suck when they are done with it, thats how newbies are!! these are the kind of people that turn their hoppers upside down with the lid open and try to shoot...they wear camo....all the time.
Anyway buy this gun if you are just starting and want something good and relaible and altogether impressive
Em1,nitro,smart parts all-american barrel(freak front) 12in. 12 v. revy.
new barrel, stock one isn't the best, ex. chamber, drop forward, revy, new bolt
this gun is a pretty good gun for someone who wants to purchase a semi without paying alot. It is pretty compact. It is pretty accurate with a new barrel. It works well with co2 and it is pretty quite. it has no external moving parts, so you can't get dirt in the bolt.
Their isn't many upgrades for this gun and I chopped alot of balls when i tried to shot fast. I would get a new bolt to make the gun more accurate
Overall this gun is a pretty good gun if you are a newbie and want a good semi-auto. If your someone who wants to put money into upgrades for this gun, there isn't alot to chose from.
