The Aradus is the most sophisticated paintball delivery system ever designed with a collapsible inner sleeve that features a straight rifle system that will prevent unwanted non linear spin on the ball and with its twist & click sizing system, you can change the size of the bore on the fly. No more changing sleeves. The bore of this single barrel can be adjusted by simply twisting & clicking the barrel into one of it's 5 settings. The barrel has been tested to the marker it was made for and a custom tailored length was designed for that marker.

Product Availability
The Psycho Ballistics Aradus Barrel is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

boomy(of coarse),FREAK(if ya got $200 get this instead)
Marker Setup: dye 2001 autococker with bottom line, venturie bolt, angel air, freak system, richochet 2k.
Recommended
Paintballs:
marbs, powerball, basicly anything.(don't use crap eagle please)
Strengths: *cheaper than a freak system
*light barrel
*kinda quiet(not as quiet as a freak)
*if your gun is pretty accurate to begin with this barrel will make it more accurate.
*locking devise is included so no cheating!!
Weaknesses: *1 bore size is too small for any ball made.
*if you don't get the size right you WILL bust balls.
*its a b!t(h to clean.
* there are not enough sizes or lengths made.
Conclusion: Its a good barrel for a newbie but if you have a gun worth having get a freak.for $100 more the freak is the best choice.if you are a serious player get a total freak like me.

Paintballs:
pretty much anything
Strengths: SO much better than the stock m98 barrel
adjustable for any paintball pretty much
EXTREMELY accurate, was using the brass eagle sight and was hitting ball on top of ball
looks awesome, and you can laser engrave it if you buy from psychoballistics.com
Weaknesses: the aradus logo is on the wrong side of the gun for me, but hey
brother took his apart and little pins popped out, but can put back. just have to watch out if you take it apart
other than that, nothing
Conclusion: Awesome, worth the money. get this if you have the cash and need a kick ass barrel

Paintballs:
round ones
Strengths: it shoots good
very versital
quite (ported version)
only a hundered bucks and shoots as good as my other barrels
only have to have one barrel
I think it looks good
no inserts so much more durable
no ball breaks so far (2 cases of paint but I did chop one and the barrel cleans out easy with possim tail squeege)
Weaknesses: limited selection
you cant pick you tips or colors
Conclusion: I think this is the best alaround barrel
you buy one and it does what 5 barrels will do
I dont know what other people are talking about it causing balls to curve
I have shot 5 different kinds of paint and some shoot better than others
but they all shot well. buy it at county and you wont be unhappy.

Marker Setup: auto cocker/m98custom

Paintballs:
any
Strengths: Easy to use, very universal you can shoot any paint with it (I think) I have shot three brands of paint with very good results (only one broken ball and shot very straight). Only 99 dollars and Psyco Balistics engraved my team name in it. You don't have to mess with inserts (i love this because is dented one of my freaks inserts already). You can see what the bore change does to the flite of the ball because you can shoot through it while you change the settings. Alot of people said they were loud my is not but I got the ported tip so that may be why.
Weaknesses: Not very gas efficient on my cocker I lost like 20 fps but my 98 aradus did not change the fps so it was ok. Not the best looking barrel but not bad( my freak is better looking although it is growing on me).
Conclusion: well it shoots as good as my freak and cost me less money so I have decided to sell the freak and use the 200+ dollars and and use the not as good looking aradus ( I can buy a lot of paint for 200 dollars)
over all for 99 bucks it is a great barrel. I stared out docking it 1 point for looks
and one point for gas efficiency so I was going to give it an 8 but after how well it did for me this last weekend and its price I added a point so it gets a 9.

Paintballs:
Any paint. It's an adjustable bore system, so small, medium, or large bored paint can be used.
Strengths: - Easily adjustable, just "twist and click"
- Has a Tournament Locking system, so no cheating
- Can be lazer engraved for personalization (also a good idea incase stolen)
- Inner sleeve does not interfere with ball breaks / squeegie-ing.
- Very accurate when adjusted to correct bore size
- Now they are ported, which in turn makes this barrel relatively quiet
- Available for many different threads already. Presume more threads will be available soon.
- www.countypaintball.com has the price reduced/sale to $99.00 now
Weaknesses: - May be over greased, causing the top sleeve postion to not lock in place
- Currently only available in pre-determined barrel lengths.
- There is a .676 bore size on there, yet the smallest paintball is Hellfire sized at .682 bore. So this bore click is wasted.
Conclusion: Accuracy is very good. Tested a tight grouping at 50 feet. Plan on an even better, more precise testing in the very near future. Can see the review with pictures, and compared to other barrels, at http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39514 If you want good accuracy, yet don't want to shell out the $200 on a Freak, then this might be the barrel for you.

Strengths: This barrel rules all. I love this barrel. Don't have to worry about all the different sleeves and stuff. This barrel is a great alternative to buying a freak!
Weaknesses: 1. No different sizes available! they custom matched each barrel to each differt gun so that it looks the best on the gun
2. the M98 version is a little short (like 12 inches)
3. Not Very accurate unless you get the size down right
5. Kinda loud
Conclusion: This is one of the best barrels I have bought in like a while. This is a great barrel to have if you want a freak but can't afford one.
