Strengths: Its not over priced, its fast and you can get it at actionvillage for $150.
the battery lasts alot. my friends gun came with a huge spring and shoots really hard.
Weaknesses: the air valve and the bolt suck. so does the barrel. but its a good gun for the price although i would go with am evil omen.
Conclusion: Good gun just needs some upgrades but the rest is just fine. i give it an 8. btw the evil omen is a sweet gun.

Strengths: Great Beginner gun
Good rate of fire
Lots of Upgrades
Adjustible Trigger
Feild Stripable........sort of

Weaknesses: Kinda loud
N dats about it
Conclusion: Its a great gun to start with, very easy to take care of and to upgrade. I really don't have to worry about the dip switch and the mods because the feild that I play on is semi only. Really good rate of fire for the price of the maker....not as fast a high end marker, but good enough to keep up with them....just gotta work on the trigger pullin

Um, just a Tippmann Custom 98, shot some other guns at the paintball range.
Marker Setup: E-99, Empire Reloader 12V, 20oz CO2, stock barrel
Recommended
Upgrades:
motorized hopper, new barrel
Strengths: Light
Nice balance with the 20oz CO2 attached
Shoots fast
Trigger DOES adjust closer to the firing sensor (other people said it didn't)
Easy to work on and fix if problems occur
Great all around gun for beginners
Sounds intimidating when it is fired
Best gun for the $175 to $200 range
Looks good too
Weaknesses: Nothing. Best bang for the buck. The only thing I would get is the Spyder ESP LCD trigger frame. Not that you really need it. It just looks cool.
Conclusion: I have played against people with more expensive guns and it hasn't made a difference. I've kept up with them and my gun probably cost me hundreds of dollars less. Remember, the gun doesn't make you a better player. I have shown some of my friends my gun and they have gone out and gotten their own E-99's. Other friends have gone out without talking to me and descided on their own to pick the E-99. I think it is one of the best electronic markers for a reasonable price.

Strengths: consistant

Review: Strengths
grrrrr...looks sexy...
shoots consistant
I have played like 30 games on 5 different days and have had only one ball break.
i can go full auto and with revvy i havnt dry fired, or had broken ball juice spray out...and thats cool.
hella good for first electro gun

WEaK
im always afraid im going to break the handle( cause it is cheap plastic).
the dip switches are anoying.
you cant change mode on field
Conclusion: good outweighs bad by a long shot
love it and it will love you
hella good for price...

Recommended
Upgrades:
Barrel
Regulator
Spring Kit
Revy
Strengths: Inexpensive.
ROF is VERY fast. Will fire as fast as your Revy will feed it.
Different firing modes. Although not practical and cannot be used at most fields or in tourneys, they're fun anyway.
Well balanced, especially with a bigger drop forward.
Weaknesses: Grip frame is really big, and you can't buy custom grips for it..
Beaver tail is sharp and easily scratches goggles.
Stock barrel blows.
Sight rail is worthless as it sits right behind the vertical feed.
It's loud, but a new barrel helps.
No low battery indicator.
Conclusion: For the money, this is the best paintball marker I've ever used. I got it for $150 and it included a 32 Degrees jersey, a rechargable batter, and a charger. If you want a good, reliable gun but don't want to spend big bucks, by the E-99. You won't be sorry.

It is kind of its own kind, not too many guns like it.
Marker Setup: I have a green 02 Bushmaster BKO,
With a 68 4500 fiber nitro tank,
12 inch dye boomstick,
WGP flame drop forward,
green dye sticky grips,
and a black egg2.
Recommended
Upgrades:
A new barrel and an electronic hopper.
Strengths: -shoots fast
-has a ridiculously low price (a few months ago paintball gear was selling them for $125)
-short trigger pull
-has modes (which are kind of of pointless because you can't really use them any were, but hey, there free.)
-With all the spyder guns i have shotten i would say this one is probably the best spyder there is. (screw the amg and crap. those are in the $500 and if you are gonna spend $500 bucks on a gun it better be for an impulse, bushy, or a cocker.)
Weaknesses: -From my experience it seems to chop alot of balls. (and i don't think it is because of the hopper not feeding to fast.)
-It is probably the loudest grip frame i have ever heard, because it doesn't have a solenoid. It has like an electronic sear or something like that so it makes aloud ticking noise. ( but that doesn't matter because the loudness of a spyder covers that noise.)
-loud
-has an O.K. drop.
-breaks very easily.
-feels unbalanced when your holding it with everything hooked up.
Conclusion: Overall this is a great beginner gun. If you are looking for an electronic gun that is quiet, fast, reliable, and has great efficiency i would go with an impulse or a bushmaster. But it is mostly personal preference, like this gun is like any other of the 100 spyder models or so they have but with a new trigger frame. I would strongly recommend it as a first gun.

Upgrades:
a revy and a barrel
Strengths: What can I say is wrong with marker. This is the best on the market if you ask me. It says you can shoot up to 13 balls per second. it shoot great.
Weaknesses: It definitly needs a revy. dont even try to go full atuo without one. a barrel is a must
Conclusion: great gun must buy

ARE YOU KIDDING ME...
If you're thinking about getting any electro get a 12v revolution
I got all this crap on my gun... you dont need it. Thats just for higher level play. Dont get ripped off buying any other gun. I spent 300$ on mine mostly from ebay.
Strengths: CHEAP, Burst modes, Small trigger pull, Fast, Looks cool, Sturdy, Easy maintainance, Upgradeable
Weaknesses: Grip frame huge, Beavertail scratches goggles, Stock barrel bad, Doesn't signal battery is low.
Review: This gun is all you need, definatly a first marker for everyone comoing into the sport, and once you have some experience under your belt, it is very upgradeable. Probably not an upgrade marker but can be. Barely ever chops, when it does you'll have to squeegie your barrel, sometimes it'll get stuck behind your bolt and youll have to take it apart. This has only happend to me twice and i have shot about 20 cases through it, twice with the same case of point blank. You cannot go wrong with the price, looks, and performance of this gun.
Conclusion: This gun rocks. I love laughing at the dopes who spent 300 dollars more than I have. Dominate the field with this awesome marker. Put the umph in your dollar.

Recommended
Upgrades:
Barrel, 12v w/ x-board at least!
Strengths: Let me start with this, it's a dang good gun, despite my lack of true experience.

Good:
-The gun is a spyder: Tough, durable, and can fit almost any part
-Comes outta the box pracitcally read (Need to charge battery)
-Trigger is easy to recharge
-Firing modes
-Fires FAST...I mean, 14-17 balls depending on set up
-Nice 'n' cheap electro, the pullback is nice and sweeeeeeeeeet
Weaknesses: Bad:
-The firing modes are slow...You can fire MUCH faster with semi, auto doesn't compare to that of an Angel
-To fire fast, you're gonna need a 12v-Xboard...9volt is my BIGGEST mistake
-Stock barrel, they give you a crappy barrel so you'll spend more and upgrade...Duh
-In my mind, they could have done a LOT better on the paint job.
-Some moron put a sight behind vertical feed
Conclusion: This gun, without a doubt, can take anything you ask it to. With only about $50-100 of upgrades you got a gun that can shot along side some high-quality guns and pay a lot less!

It has its problems, all guns do!
