Excessive head tilt
Uncomfortable without the proper mask
Review:
The folding stock is a very nice upgrade to include with your 98. It stabilizes your marker extremely well and gives you the confidence to aquire and hit your target in-close or at max distance coupled with a good barrel of course. Having it fold as well is a very unique feature compared to other competitors stocks. For rec play I'll usually fold it because of all the running, sliding and junping we do, but during jungle/or scenarios, out it comes. Another fine feature is the ability for the stock to slide to a much larger size to accomodate our more "Bunyan" sized players. Twist a knob and sliiiide. Since I've started using this upgrade, it's greatly enhanced my firing capability, whether stationary or on the move. The only downside that I can think of is the need for a mask that can conform somewhat to the stock itself. At first I used a Spectra Proshield, but it's stiff and rigid. I then changed to a Flex 7 and now I can sight normally because of the flexibility of the mask. Problem solved. I really like the folding stock and would recommend it to those military types or anyone that likes the feel of a rifle in their hands. You'll love it.
Conclusion:
If you're military like myself, you can really appreciate this up. Not very expensive, looks great, folds for close quarter battle, leave it out when you're on the hunt, extends via slide for larger players. Other than the need to change your mask so you can sight better, definately a must have.

I this and shortlythereafter got a remote coil to go along with it. When I had it with just the normal tank-on-marker setup, it was okay, but when I got a remote coil to go along with it, it was GREAT. I really like using this setup, it is light, but you still get the effect of a stock, and you can adjust it. The adjustability is really nice, and even better is the fact that you can fold it out of the way in close quarter "combat."
Weaknesses:
It can be a little flimsy feeling, but when I saw the M4 style stock at my paintball shop, to my surprise, IT WAS PLASTIC! I couldn't believe that, plus this is a little cheaper than it. It can also loosen up and slide in, but if you get it tight, it holds well. WITHOUT A RED DOT OR RAISED SIGHT RAIL YOU CAN NOT USE A SIGHT WITH IT. The mask hits the stock before you can get low enough to see it.
Conclusion:
I really think this has improved my experience while playing paintball, but unless included with a few other products, it can be a more of a pain than it is worth.
silver 98c tipy, 14'' all american, blackpoint folding stock, revolution 12 volt with X board, tipy expansion chamber, rocket cock, venturi bolt, 12 ounce co2 with on/off valve and anti-siphon.
Strengths:
this is the first stock i bought and i'm happy with it. i think this is a great and inventive product i love how i can just fold the stock out of the way when it need be.
Weaknesses:
the only bad thing about this stock is that you can't use any sights, but i don't use my sights much anyhow. i watch my paint if you know what i mean.
Conclusion:
i was a little disappointed that i couldn't use my sights, it was more of the concept of it though, i overall like this quite abit and am quite happy with it, it was a very creative design, it suits my playing style quite well and if you like to do a bit of both, hanging back or running up forward i would get this stock.

Marker Setup:
This marker: M98 Custom with Flatline Barrel, PB drop-forward, and BPE stock.
Strengths:
The stock, combined with the flatline barrel, gives the marker an assault-rifle feeling. It looks great, and it makes life easier when it comes to shooting while on the move.
Despite its flimsy appearance...it is well made, and I've put this thing through some abuse. It hasn't failed me yet.
Weaknesses:
First off, you cannot use any optics (red dot, scope, sight rail, nothing) Your mask will hit the stock and you won't be able to see down the gun. This isn't a problem if you're used to shooting without optics (like me), but it could be a real pain to some people. Even though I don't use sights or the rail, every so often I find myself folding the thing aside.
Secondly, unless you use a wrench, you're not getting this thing on tight enough so that it doesn't spin on you. It sits where the plug should be (replaces the plug) and includes a ring that you're supposed to tighten so the stock doesn't twist and turn. Unless you're incredibly strong, you need to wrench it on. I've a fairly good grip ( I climb rocks as my other hobby ) and I can't get the thing to sit still for long.
Conclusion:
Overall, it's a fine addition to your gun. This isn't for everyone, though. If you have visions of playing sniper and sighting down your gun with this thing on there, think again. It feels good, and looks good, but again, if you want to sight with this thing, either A) Don't wear a mask, and risk your life...or B) attach a drilled piece of metal to lower the back half of the stock a couple inches...This does work.

<>Blackpoint Folding Stock
<>View Loader 200 Hopper

Strengths:
It's great for keeping the gun level and not bouncing around when slowly walking (or crouching) and trying to aim. When you need to run or are in a tight spot you can fold it up. Once out of the tight spot unfold it and hold it right on your shoulder. Great for sniping because it gives you a steady hold. It evens out the gun's weight distribution between your front hand, back hand, and shoulder. Also, very durable.
Weaknesses:
Two things that I dislike about it: I can't use my sight when I have a mask on! Also, if you don't have a coiled remote for your CO2, it makes your gun heavier in the back (not that much, though). It looks kinda weak too, but it really isn't. Oh, one more thing. You can't put some modifications on if you want to use this ex. E-bolt, Rear Cocker, and some other stuff that I can't remember right now.
Conclusion:
I think it is a good choice for a sniper or someone that needs that extra weight taken off of their hands. Looks pretty cool because it makes your gun really long (especially if you have a long barrel). Only bad is that it's hard to use your sight with it on and you can't use some other upgrades.

Strengths:
QUALITY - QUALITY - QUALITY!
-This stock is a work of art.
-The folding/latching mechanism is rugged and inventive in design.
-The Anodized finish
-Quick Fold/Unfold + extension of stock
Weaknesses:
nothing
Conclusion:
This Stock is awesome. These same folks (JCS Motorcycle Parts) also manufacture barrels for Tippmann.
This stock allows you the best of many worlds:
-Fold it for speed-ball...
--keep it folded while running through the woods during Rec Play...
---but quickly unfold it to take a quick sniper shot
----unfold & extend it while playing scenario to help in taking that Loooooong sniper shot!
I have used the M-4 collapsible stock, while it is nice, it's always attached to the rear of your gun. This bad-boy folds off to the side when you're pinned down in a bunker or crawling across the field. And the extension is long than the M4. A sight rail will be required for anyone wanting to use an Aim-point or scope.... this could be fixed by manufacturing the stock at a 10-15 degrees angle off the back of the gun.... did I mention I liked it!?!?! :)
A Flatline is in my future, and I think this stock is going to greatly complement my total set-up.
