The GZ Intimidator was designed exclusively for Team Ground Zero. Knowing that a top professional team would be relying on this marker, Bob Long made sure to include everything a top player would need. First, it has a lightened body and custom milling. Playing all day with a heavy gun is no way to win a tournament. Second, the GZ Intimidator comes with a vertical regulator to fine-tune the velocity and prevent velocity spikes. Also, a pressure gauge comes standard so you know what the operating pressure of the marker is. Most important is the trigger, and there is no doubt about it the GZ Intimidator is lightning fast! With three distinct adjustments on the trigger you are sure to find a setting just to your liking.
Product Availability
The Bob Long Ground Zero Intimidator is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Upgrades:
Maybe new barrel (freak) and a Stab reg.
Strengths: I have no idea what the guy below me was talking about (especially saying that he has used the gun for 3 months... yeah right man) I love the trigger on mine, that is so easy to adjust to your personal likings. The gun is fast, light, thin, accurate, and mine NEVER chops with the ACE. I have never had a problem with mine. The milling & anno looks really cool also. The gun is so easy to field strip, takes about 30 seconds to clean a chop in the breech if there ever is one, which only happends when you have the ACE off. The new .45 frame is also very nice.
Weaknesses: Pretty expensive, but i got mine for $800 new at Ultimate Madness2. There isnt a manual for it now, and i have never owned a Timmy so i had to follow the 2001 Timmy manual which was pretty different with some stuff (Turning the Eye on and off, what the colors of the LED mean) and i didnt really know how to work the ACE for a little bit until i asked around. The screw that holds on the front block with the regs was loose when i bought the gun, and i still havent quite figured out how to tighten it, because there is a brass air fitting right above it, and i dont know how to remove it (you would need a really small wrench) The body screws for the gun are very small, and sometimes a pain.
Conclusion: Very very nice gun. Fast, light, accurate, never chops, easy to configure to your likings and fairly quiet. Except for a few minor problems that can be fixed quickly, my gun was perfect. I love how it looks and how it feels, i couldnt ask for a better gun. I like them a lot more than LED's. This gun is by far one of the best i have ever used.

Upgrades:
Freak Barrel System, There isn't anything else available for it yet, but then again, it doesn't need it!!
Strengths: Smaller, lighter, and most importantly, much better looking than the original and even Ripper Intimidators, one of my teammates has been shooting 'timmys for over a year and I knew they shot very well, I just never liked the look of the gun, nor did I feel comfortable with the grip/trigger frame. Bob has taken the best features of the original Intimidators and added a standard 45 grip, upgraded delrin bolt, and shortened the body (height-wise) by taking the HP reg off the front of the gun, Now I have a 'timmy that looks good, feels comfortable, and shoots great. Also, the use of the Semi-Only Board (SOB) and lack of need for an LCD panel allows this marker to be obtained at a very reasonable price. Thanks Bob, this is your best work yet!

I had been shooting my 2000 Dark as my primary marker in tourney play. I've now had 2 team practices with the GZ and have seen my number of eliminations increase significantly, much to the satisfaction of my front players. Now I can rain paint with significant accuracy, "accuracy by volume" has become "accuracy by accuracy". I have to agree with a statement made to me by Carmen Borgia of Redz Comfort Gear / Ground Zero Gold: "Now if I don't hit something, I have to blame myself"
Weaknesses: When I got the gun, It came with the instruction manual for the old Intimidator. Also, the HP reg didn't seem to be working correctly. (Add this next part to the GOOD stuff) Bob is relatively easy to get a hold of. My teammate who has been using the 'Timmys the longest actually has Bob's cell phone number. Bob told us what needed to be done to the reg (very simple) and even sent us the parts to rebuild it if necessary free of charge. Thanks again Bob!
Conclusion: I've seen these markers selling for under $900.00 all over the place. They're definitely worth it. It looks good, shoots great, and seems pretty reliable to this point. I've met Bob a couple times and he's always willing to help with problems, not to mention he's a funny guy (I know that has nothing to do with the marker, but he's great to deal with)

Strengths: ok this gun rocks, i got to shoot one in Texas at ''Padre Island'' and man was it light and it shot incredibly fast, usually i cant shoot a gun that fast but man it rocked, i dont recomend shooting it unless you have a halo because you'll outshoot anything else, you still wont chop though because of the vision and all but if by some chance that you do you can very very easily celan it the bolt comes out very simple and easy, not to mention the gas effincy, cocker threds, and the distance (even though its an open bolt) its the ultimate gun!!!
Weaknesses: the only thing bad is some people, sean,(but not me) think that the grip on intimidators are a little far up, but i think its perfect
Conclusion: if you play paintball buy one!
