barrel
i want to get a new reg & maybe a shocktech quick release bolt
Strengths:
the electronic trigger frame. GOOD LORD IT'S FAST! all aluminum (well, mostly. the trigger's plastic). nice matte anodizing. only rough edge on mine was near the top of the trigger & you wouldn't notice unless you were really looking for it. supposed to be compatible with spyder parts, though i haven't tested this yet.
Weaknesses:
loud. has a pretty good kick to it. loud. i've broken about 3 balls out of a case of assorted brands of paint. decent unless you're used to shooting mags & cockers. can't replace the stock grips. did i mention it's loud?
Conclusion:
you absolutely will not get a better marker for the money right now. i've seen the basics as low as $139 & the new compacts cost about as much as a spyder compact! if you really want to get "into" the game you don't have to spend an arm & a leg anymore. no, you can't just tap the side of the trigger like some angels, but a buddy of mine has an emag & i guarantee i can rattle off the paint just as fast as he can. as long as it holds up (haven't had mine long) i see no real reason to go out & buy a bushmaster or impulse.
Bob Long Intimidator, Auto Cocker and many Rental markers...
Marker Setup:
M3 Black Dragon, 12v Revy with JT Speed Collar, 20oz CO2
Recommended Upgrades:
Barrel, a nice air system, a new rigger, and you have to have a motorized hopper.
Strengths:
For the price this marker is great, I got the marker on Firday and played on Sunday, I shot 2000 rounds and did not chop a ball. If I did not have my 12vRevy I would of out shot the hopper. The trigger pull is very light and feels nice. The marker is very simple, it is either on or off. Out on the field it sprays paint.
Weaknesses:
Like I said before the barrel can be a little better, but for the price I can't complain. And not having a motorized hopper can be a problem.
Conclusion:
This marker is great. If you have the money go and get this. Why go and spend alot of money when you can buy a Electro for under $200. This thing can hang with the best of them.
