I think this marker is a great marker because it has an intensly high ROF. The marker works great it doesnt chop unless you shoot it wrong. It is an excelently made marker.
its a little on the heavy side
the only reason people chop with this gun is because they short stroke the trigger and they dont use the trigger properly. REMEMBER ALL RT OWNERS THE RTS TRIGGER IS VERY SENSITIVE TO TRIGGER RELEASE BE CONSISTANT WITH YOUR TRIGGER FINGER. it evern says that in the manual.
pay attention and stop trashin a great gun.
I have an RT and this thing just rocks!!!!! The day i got it, i had lots of trouble breaking paint and dirtying up my power feed/barrel. But, i bought a 32 degrees carbon fiber, and wow what a difference. The stock barrel is crap! Once you get used to the Reactive Trigger in the RT, you are totally kickin' ass!!! It took me about 1 week to get used to the trigger. But another good thing is that its a Mag, you can dry fire this thing like crazy!!! This gun is nice and small, and the recommended cleaning way is dry firing under water!!! What is easier matenence than this? 3 days after i got it, i wanted to throw it out, but then i got the hang of the trigger by dry firing it about 100 times. I love this gun, and once you get the hang of it, stay patient with this marker, for in the long run, you will be truly impressed.
Running it off Compressed air/Nitro empties out my wallet. Sometimes you get some high numbers on the Chrony. Their is a special way to chrony this marker but still!!! Heavy, and with an airtank, its slightly bulkier than i would like it to be. I wouldn't wanna go through that first week i had it again!!!
I insist you get this gun. It puts the fun back into shooting. Putting a Z-Grip on this gun and you will be laughing at guys RUNNING to the dead zone cuz their is 20 rounds coming at them in 3 seconds. By far better than any electronic markers. And this is all manual!!!!

It shoots extremely fast, easy to maintain, and pretty easy to clean. Also all the parts from AGD are very high quality, and the gun doesn't need too many upgrades because most parts made for the RT are worse than the factory equipment.
It's a bad ass looking gun, probably one of the coolest looking guns out there. AGD has one of the best service warranties in the paintball industry, they just worship their customers.
Not even a high speed blender chops more balls. The RT chops more balls than any other paintball gun I have ever seen. It is HORRIBLE on paint. Most guns may chop 1 in 8000, the RT I owned chopped 1 in 150, and broke about 1 in 500. This was using high quality fresh marbalizer paint.
Also, the gun is not very accurate. The faster you shoot the RT, the higher the velocity climbs. So at 1 ball every 2 seconds, you're gun will shoot at about 260FPS. At 6 balls per second, the velocity will climb to over 285+ Feet per second. This makes the gun horribly inconsistent and inaccurate.
Also, the barrel on an RT doesn't screw in firmly, it's a quarter turn twist lock barrel. You can litterally feel the play in the barrel. You can move the front of the barrel from one side to the other about 2mm. This adds even more to the horrible accuracy. And, if the barrel is just SLIGHTLY unscrewed, it will chop every ball that goes into it.
Plus, the RT shoots the balls out at high pressure, and pressure this high is just brutal on paintball. Even fresh premium paintballs will pop when the RT bolts slams into them.
It's also really heavy, I mean like dead wieght heavy. A RT with a bottle on it weighs about as much as a case of paint! the RT also does not take CO2, so if you dont own a top of line nitroduck bottle, dont get one.
This gun was the worst investment I have ever made. Do yourself a favor and spend the money elsewhere. I have shot about 10+ cases through it, and spent every day at the field constantly cleaning and taking it down. This was a real dissapointment because I saved for a long time to buy the gun.
I owned a spyder before I owned the RT, and in all honesty I love my Spyder much more. At least my spyder didn't chop like crazy, or break nearly as many paintballs. Plus my spyder was more accurate!
Stay away from this gun, buyer beware, get something else. I have heard of people having moderate success with this gun, but the majority chop and break paint like crazy. If you buy this gun, 2 months later it'll be just like mine on Ebay, selling for half the price I bought it. Do NOT buy this gun, it's the advice I wish someone would have given me.
Yes, I know how to shoot an RT, I even chopped and broke when shooting slowly. I've been playing paintball for 6+ years, and I know how to shoot a gun. This gun was just not properly designed, and is way to harsh on the pocketbook and paint.
I've owned Spyders, Autocockers and a SP Shocker S/F. By
far, I have enjoyed the RT more than all the others. From
an engineering perspective, this marker is built from
quality materials with precision manufacturing processes.
Its easy to maintain and has great visual appeal. I have a
1.5 x 4 scope mounted on the rail and when matched with the
right paint and barrel, this marker is dead on accurate,
shot after shot. I've modified the trigger sear fulcrum
point so that the marker will fire by gently touching the
trigger, with little or no play. The ROF with the reative
trigger is faster than my shocker...without all the broken
balls and sputtering.
For some users, the weight may be a drawback.
Absolutely a best buy. This marker has the feel of quality
throughout. No sloppy, loose fitting parts like the other
markers. I've been using Custom Parts, Dye and Lapco
barrels with the RT. Barrel lengths run 12 to 16 inches.
All perform well with the right paint. Personally, I use a
gas through stock and remote. Air is supplied by a 114CI
