Barrels:
Flatline, Apex, Dye Boomstick, anything accurate
Strengths: Accurate cheap
Weaknesses: Nothing comes to mind
Review: These are some nice paintballs, they are cheap and pretty accurate. prefect for rec play. The feild i usueally play at charges 100 bucks a case for draXxus paintballs which in all honesty are less accurate.if your looking for a semi/cheap box of paint thats fairly good get these
Conclusion: Good paint,

Products Used:
Marballizer, Big Ball, Pro Ball, Random custom field paint(better quality than the Nightmare)
Marker Setup: Tippmann A-5, Opsgear 6" CQB barrel(great barrel) WAS Board

Barrels:
Any aftermarket barrel will do you well.
Strengths: Good fill.
Weaknesses: Hard, every 1:5 didnt break on target(human). LOTS of barrel breaks.
Review: Well, the weaknesses of this ball really out weigh the strengths. The day I played, this was the only paint at the field. So I bought a case. First things I noticed were greasy bags inside, and greasy paint shells. I filled my hopper, and pods and I went to the chrono, to shoot in to get on the field. I shoot slow for the chron, to see my average shot speed(275-280). After I tested I ripped off a few(15bps worth)(was board), I noticed three breaks right away(none during chron, slow firing). I thought thats wierd. Ive shot over 8000 rounds thru my A-5 with no breaks to this day. I shrugged it off, next thing I know same thing happens. So I checked my loader, and inside my chamber, and on my bolt, they werent the culprit. They were all in the barrel. This is the frist time that barrel has given me problems. So I cleaned my barrel and went to play a game. Inaccurate as all crap, paint was flying every where, and breaking in my barrel. At the field I was playing with 14 of my friends, 4 of us had A-5's, 4 had 98s, 3 had spyder imagines, two had electras, one had an auto mag, another had a auto cocker, we were all having problems with this paint. Weather for the day was nice and dry, cool, and mostly sunny. At the end of the day, I was cleaning up and pourd out my hopper and remaining tubes. I found the problem. Out of about 300 I had left, I found about ten balls that looked like tear drops, I found balls that were just the shell with no paint in them, that would explain the greasiness, and balls with half of a soft side. Now I dont know how old this paint was but still in all my years of playing I have never seen paint in this bad of shape. If you are wondering, the bore match was perfect though. With all of us playing with all different types of guns, not to mention the spyders anti chop bolt they all had paint breaks. Along with the breaks the paint wasnt consistent in breaking on target. And as a in between factor I put 1000 rounds(left over from prior times) of field paint with no breaks after I quit using the diablo and tried the field paint to see if it was my barrel, accuracy was restored, and no breaks. Back to the diablo, back to breaks.
Conclusion: Upon seeing 15 individual cases(including myself) during the entire 9 hours of playing we all had problems with this paint. I dont know how old it was but it was a very poor perfomer, compared to the field paint, with more than 2 cases(previous times at the field) prior to the use of the diablo. Personally I would not recomend this paint, but if its all that is available, it works for the most part, just check your paint befor loading any of it in. Good luck and good hunting.

Marker Setup: PMI Piranha 05 GTi EForce

20 oz Pure Energy CO2 tank

Barrels:
I used my GTI Stock barrel
Strengths: Seamless
.688 bore size
no barrel breaks
no bounces
Weaknesses: White paint
shell is easy to see
Review: I have used these once.
They were a pink and white shell with white fill, not the coolest but it works.
These balls have worked perfectly for me. No barrel breaks, breaks on impact, thick fill so no wiping. The flew straight and were slightly smaller than my barrel so I didnt have to worry about breaks. They have no seams though the paint on the shell is not perfectly evenly, the seam(paint) isn't perfectly even.
I had white paint so it wasn't super cool and they are really easy to see flying through the air.
oh well they shot straight and always broke on mpact, no bounces
Conclusion: Buy it, no bounces no barrel breaks, seamless and shoot straight doesnt get better

Barrels:
Large bore kits
Strengths: Breaks on your target. deacently thick fill
Weaknesses: A little too brittle at times.
Review: Last time i used this paint it was about a week ago. it was 40 degrees outside and it was acting up because of the weather. its pretty brittle paint to begin with. i dont really think i would buy it again. it worked for one day but it was 45 bucks for a case and i usualy end up with better paint for cheaper so i dont think i will be shooting this stuff anymore. it might be better in the summer when its hot but this was no good. in addition there were many flat spots on the balls. no dimples but a lot of flat spots.
Conclusion: Maybe its better in the summer but dont get it in weather colder than 50 degrees.

Barrels:
Flatline
Strengths: Very accurate and had a flat trajectory w/Flatline
Weaknesses: Expensive (ONLY at Skirmish USA, everywhere else is very good deal)
Review: I used this paint at Skirmish USA and loved it. it was insanley accurate compared to the other paint and that was fairly accurate to begin with. Great deal off of Action village, $42.50 a box. what I said in weakness was when I bought 5 boxes for $90 each (tax included). I believe the paint was worth it. In all the ammo I shot (700+ rnds), not one break in the barrel. The only times I had a problem playing w/this was when my gun was broken, got it fixed, it worked like a charm.
Conclusion: This is the best paint I have ever used, I'm gonna use this from now on, my only problem is getting rid of other paintI have in my room. A litle pricy at Skirmish, but well worth it

My gun has a .687 and a .691 back, they both seem to get the job done.
Strengths: The pink fill is VERY bright.
Weaknesses: I havn't found any yet.
Review: My friend bought a box a couple of months ago, at the time i was using big-ball, when we were doing a little target practice on my friends barn it was obvious who had the better paint. WE both had pink fill but when we were shooting the same target mine ended up looking like a pinkish white. So if you get the pink fill you will not be disappointed.
Conclusion: They aren't a bad price and perform fairly well with little breaks.

Weaknesses: The green is a bit dull
Review: The paint itself is not bad, quite thick so reasonably hard to wipe off.

Flys reasonably well though was a bit loose in my barrel but that could be improved if I had a freak system etc.....

If you get this paint make sure you get a bright colour, the green is a bit dull... Very hard to see on camoflage

Review: I bought a case of Diablo Nightmare paintballs and went to a field to test my new gun and the balls. When i was in the field playing against other people all that was coming out of my barrel was pink soup. Out of 1200 balls like 300 didn't break. I was really disappointed. I used my friends Super Swirl paintballs and they worked great. I have used Diablo paintballs before and they were pretty good, maybe they just sent me an old case, but i would never buy the Nightmare paintballs again because i don't feel like wasting my money and balls that break in the barrel not on the target. I suggest you don't buy Nightmare paintballs unless you want to get shot up in the field and not being able to shoot back and have a chance of hitting the other person.
Conclusion: I would never buy these balls again
