Have used most everything at one point or another but currently have a Matrix and GX3 Cocker with 68/4500 preset tank, either 12v Revo or eVolution II
Recommended Paintballs:
Anything made. With the sleeves you can change bore sizes based on paint. AWESOME!!!
Strengths:
I bought my kit for about $160. It came with 3 sleeves, carring case/barrel bag and stickers. This barrel kit is AWESOME. The sleeves lock in from the front of the back piece, thereby providing a much better "stick" than that achieved with Freak or similar systems. Also, the performance on this barrel is incredible! It is by far the most accurate barrel I've every used. Powerlyte makes these kits in both Aluminum and Stainless Steel configurations and in 12in and 14in lengths.
Weaknesses:
Absolutely NUTTIN'. These things are awesome!
Conclusion:
Best barrel or barrel kit on the market. If you shop around, you can find them at very good prices.

all paintballs. all that i tried workes well.
Strengths:
the best thing about the powerlyte kit was the way the sleeves are held in. unlike the freak the powerlytes sleeves are pinched together between the front and back of barrel . this allows no use of orings or a whole new back. the kit comes with 5 different sleeves and its priced cheaper that a freak kit. the sleeves rang all over giving u a better change of a paint to barrel match.
Weaknesses:
have not found no bads . the barrel is great.
Conclusion:
the powerlyte barrel kit is a great barrel and comes with many great features. its cheap. built really good. i would recommend this barrel to anyone that is looking for a barrel system that does not has any problems with orings or backs . its just a great barrel
