Review:
Wow, i got this gun for free and it needed some work. I fixed it up for free and i love this gun. It is more reliable than a tippman. It is more custumizable than any other paintball gun on the market. You can also make many of the upgrades yourself with a drill press and a hack saw.
Conclusion:
If you can find one that works for under $50, its a good deal, buy it, custumize it and woop some angle ass with it.
VM68, 16" SmartParts, Turbo Micro Boost exp.chamber, GasThruStock, remote line (and still heavy)
Recommended Upgrades:
barrel...
and more stuff to lightening :)
Strengths:
reliable, just like AK-47 (in my country it was known as paintball-Kalashnikov)
Weaknesses:
heavy.... heavy.... hard to find some upgrades (other than barrel)
slow trigger...
heavy :)
Review:
this is my second marker :) (first was BrassEagle Tigershark)
Me and many friends have plenty of fun playing with VM :)
I upgrade my VM to a nearly all available parts and... sold out and buy a Automag :(
overall...
this marker is not for beginners - required to much of work with his (cleaning, lubing, adjusting)
This is marker for player-hobbist, who's plays for fun, regardless of Angels, Shockers and other elektric devices playing on the same field
Conclusion:
as above - good marker for museum, and old skul players, and for telling some stories from early semi's years
Gtv 1,Homemade wood grip,Smart Parts Progressive 14 barrel
Recommended Upgrades:
You can do so much upgrades........Take a look on www.vmempire.com or www.vm68.com
You can see there, what you can do with this gun.
Strengths:
Design, and fact that is VM.
Weaknesses:
I just tested it, so I really dont know weaknesses of this Gun(maybe weight)
Review:
You can make lot of upgrades on this gun.You can cut the body on a half, and make it smaller,or you can just make your own M16 replica or make some paintball rifle. You will be king of game, when others look on it.If you want play with this gun on the competetion, just forgot it, this is jut delicious thing in paintball.
Conclusion:
It has very heavy look, and it is just oldschool, every more experienced paintballers played with this gun few years ago, and it is the first gun for some of these pb players.
Old semi but still good for begginers or recreation players.
It is really heavy compare to real rifles witch is good for military paintballers
U can use many home made upgrades and after market parts are also avilable with no problems(in US).
EXC-68 is a VM-68 with x.chamber and bottom line.I thing this version is better than basic VM because gun has better balance and even with really heavy x-chamber is more comfortable in hands than basic VM.
Design of this gun is inspirated in real guns and I thing I like it a bit ; )
Conclusion:
Good as starter gun or for recreation or military paintball.
most spyders older ones
tippmann 98
any basic guns
Marker Setup:
sheridan vm 68
after market berrel (i got this gun used i dont know the brand names but its not stock)
