They are available for most markers in 12", 14", and 16" lengths. The All American Barrels are made in two sections, a front and a back. The back of the barrel (the part that screws into the marker) is available in three bore sizes (small, standard, large). The front of the barrel (the ported section) acts as a spinning chamber. The air in front of the ball is pushed out of the holes reducing turbulence and the gases behind the ball are vented in such a way to impart a slight spin on the paintball. The All American barrel has a front section with a larger bore than the back. Fronts are available in two standard colors (black & green) and 7 splash colors (shown above).

The Smart Parts All American Barrels are newer, so they should be commonly available, both new and used.

Tippmann 98 Custom
Smart Parts All American 02 black 12 inch, freak front
20oz CO2 with smart parts on/off valve
Recommended Paintballs:
In about 700 rounds, never broke a ball, used zap, diabo dusk and other balls.
generally you get what you pay for
Strengths:
-very accurate
-huge jump from stock barrel
-looks good
Weaknesses:
-2 peice can cause problems
-thread wear
Review:
The All American is a huge jump from the 98 stock barrel. With one shot it was odvious. Mine has never broke a ball, even the cheapest paint. Works great with the tippmann. Some trouble with the front peice screwing in to the rear. I turned it just enough so it dosent wobble. I notice some early thred wear. I suggest to unscrew the front as little as possible. Good looking, and availible in many colors and sizes with freak or all american fronts. I'm not sure wich front is better.
Conclusion:
A barrel upgrade is the first thing needed on the 98 custom. It's a great gun but the stock barrel is quite unaccurate. For me the All American did the job, exceeding my expectations. It is well worth the price and is a quality product.

if you like sniper then i reccomend you to buy this barrel is hella quiet and has great accuracy and most of all is kinda cheap and if you read other review about this barrel you can tell that this barrel is one of the best barrel.this barrel is cheaper and better then the dye ultra light so save 75 dollars then buy it at smart parts
Conclusion:
i gave it a 10 cause the most tightest, cheapest, quietest, and the accuracy is hella straight but is a real competion with a m98 flatline barrel
stock barrel: worst barrel in the world nearly, poorly made
32 degrees Quiet Riot: ok barrel, but isn't as good as this
Marker Setup:
Spyder AMG Classic, stock parts
All American 2002 barrel with AA Freak Front
VL 12v Revolution
(soon to be) 88ci 4500psi
at the moment 2 crappy CO2 tanks (14 and 9 oz)
Recommended Paintballs:
All Stars, Diablos, any paint works well
Strengths:
It improved my accuracy 99% basically. It is also very quiet. Range is much longer.
Weaknesses:
nothing really...scratches a little easily
Review:
This barrel is amazing. This barrel is by far one of the best barrels out there at a fairly low price (75 bucks). I have heard this barrel exceeds the performance of the boomstick, which i am happy to hear because i saved at least 30 dollars. If you are a sniper this is a great barrel for you. It is also good for speedball because it is adjustable and you can take off the front and add a smaller front. This is an all- around barrel for anybody.
Conclusion:
Buy this barrel if you have the money. A+ barrel. Great, extremely accurate barrel.

Spyder Imagine (Black)
68 cu nitro
12" all american barrel
custom products flame drop forward
Recommended Paintballs:
pretty much any kind
Strengths:
i got mine cheap and is a big step from a stock barrel
Weaknesses:
none that i've noticed yet
Review:
i found that this is a really nice barrel and was able to get mine for cheap. it shoots straight and is a great upgrade for chaeper guns. it gets good range and doesn't brake too much. the barrel looks good and also drastically makes your gun quieter. my imagine is already insaneley loud and this helped it out a little.
Conclusion:
buy this if you need a new barrel but don't want to front alot of money.
crown point stock automag barrel. on my extra i shot a good 2 piece i think it was a typhoon... really old barrel... my friend still uses that one..armson stealth (automag), jj ceramic (cocker), dye boomer (on an 01 cocker)
Marker Setup:
AGD Automag68 p/f left, '01 smart parts all american 12"
88/3000 fiber wrapped nitro tank, custom welded drop forward (thanks mike)
revvy (with realtree dip), gas-thru foregrip, total gun weight= 7.5lb
also...jt flex7, jt gloves , 4+1 on back, jerk/straightshot
and the bendy Qtip
Recommended Paintballs:
something big!!!!... i have put a few kinds thru but not yet found "the match"... thank god that my agd is a good and forgiving gun... i have put these balls thru (about 1000 each):
Nelson Anarchy Fury (orange, thick as all hell andwill stain most natural fibers)
RPS Evil (gotta love the name and the fact the the shell is clear and you can see the fill)
Great American (i think they're all the same bore, but i shot the orange ones...)
Good results with all these balls... i can post and let out a string of about 10 (1-2 sec.) with them all landing on a "body" sized target from up to 100 feet. I dont think i even had a wako flier.... all straight.
Strengths:
top 5 strengths: 5)light weight, 4)very quiet, 3)durable, 2)PRICE, 1)ACCURATE
Weaknesses:
Probably best with large bore paint, limits your choices... oh well- - life
Review:
whether you play woods or speed, airball... whatever... this barrel will do you well... teh price is so good that you can afford to buy another barrel... probable a LAPCO, cause they are small bore for the most part. I know that i can turn to a target an put 10 balls ON it in 1-2 seconds... very accurately... thats with a non electro... i get no barrel breaks unless i am careless and shortstroke/ double feed, wich is not the barrel, its how automags are.. i like 12"... its 12 overall.. .for automag, about 2 inches actually gets plugged in to the body of the marker... so its more like a 10.5"..... my agd was already very quiet... but now its just ridiculous... and when you are making noise right next to your face you enjoy it to be as muted as possible... this barrel might be a kind of gas hog... but this is all speculation... because nobody in the paintball world has done any harcore studies, there is only specualtion that a ball needs about 6-7 inches to reach full push (speed-accuracy-form) in the barrel... since the porting kicks in after about 4 inch on this barrel you might find that you dont have the range... i dont find that... but its the theory... i do find that where i can shoot i can shoot very accurately... that was long... sorry
Conclusion:
buy this barrel... i would have got one for the xtra i used to have... but then i bought AGD... this barrel rox the house and would make a great addition if not the main barrel in any players bag.... have fun... ps i would give the barrel a lower rating-9 if it was the same price as the higher end dye and phreak... but since its under $50 shipped... its getting 10!!!!
Tippman 98
Flatline -- All American 2k2 16"
Remote with slide check
Recommended Paintballs:
Evil -- Marbelizer
Strengths:
Quiet, really quiet
Distance
Weaknesses:
None
Review:
I got this cause my flatline sucks for indoor paintball. Where i usually go they have the crapiest balls.
I went paintballin in the woods before using it indoors and this barrel performed great. I had some friends with A-5/flatline and i was shooting straighter and farther. They want to return their flatlines, and get the AA.
Didnt break a ball, and i tested some Evils, Marbs and some really crappy ones i had to chrony the marker and non of them broke.
Price is better than getting the Flatline.
Only thing that i found that i didnt like is that the barrel is to shiny. I like to play outdoors where we pretty much try to hide and snipe and the sun may give your position away if its hitting the barrel.
Best barrel for the 98 in the market.
Conclusion:
this barrell has everything a "sniper" wants. its quiet and is not that expensive.
Tippmann A-5
Response Trigger
14" all american barrel
Recommended Paintballs:
anything pretty much, but MARBALLIZERS work best i think
Strengths:
ports
length (14")
2 piece
Weaknesses:
kinda shiny (no big deal)
nothing else
Review:
this is a sweet barrel, i use it on my A-5. I was gonna get a flatline, or as some say, the fa gline. I see alotta difference, but tis to the better of the AA, it has amazing distance, and at least it will bust at 50 feet or less!
Conclusion:
Buy this barrel, especially for the A-5, its a sweet add on, nothing better.
DONT GET A F AGLINE!!!
they wont let me say it all together (its innapropriate, boo hoo,) ITS TRUE
Minimag- Custom Milling
Benchmark Double Trigger
Retro Valve
Warp Feed
68 CI Nitro Tank
Teardrop
Chrome Foregrip
Recommended Paintballs:
Proball- best
Diablo Blaze
even Brass Eagle works well
Strengths:
Extremly Accurate, Very Quiet, Loox Tight, Easy To Clean
Weaknesses:
Does come unscrewed when fanning, just get extra O-ring
Review:
I have shot this thing for 3 years and it rulz. Im thinking of going to ultra but every time i think about it the all american comes out on top. Itz great for rec ball and sup' or tourny.
I've used it in all of them with my pos tl plus, now i got the minimag and im probly gonna get a 14' all american, just to get that much better accuracy, plus the teardrop is crampin my style, ;)
Conclusion:
This is deffinatly a must for every baller. If ur to poor to get a top of the line barrel test it out at least, save ur money and get one. It will only help ur game

Chrome CP Lightning Drop
Chrome KAPP Railmount On/off

Strengths:
It is fairly quiet... as if that is a strength
Weaknesses:
Poor honing, bad customer service.
Review:
I was very unimpressed with the quality exhibited in the Smart Parts All American. Very poor honing, and even w/ a consistent gun (automag) and correct paint to bore matching, the accuracy was nothing special. I have had much better experiences w/ a J&J Ceramic, CP One-Piece, and various DYE barrels.

Review:
This is a great barrel for the price. For some reason, I was thinking when I bought my "lengendary Smart Parts All American barrel that has the best review on the website", it would be better than what I got. But it was pretty cheap, I only payed like $45 for it and it is indeed a big improvement from the stock barrel accuracy. Mine is also the pressed together kind which you cant unscrew like the newer models so I don't know if that effects it at all. The paint has also started to chip off of mine in various places, so it wasnt that thoroughly coated. But it is an ok barrel and I like it well enough to keep it and not spend money on a different one.
Conclusion:
This is my first after market barrel, which this product seems to be focused on due to its significantly dropped price. After buying this product, myself and a friend of mine with a J&J (even cheaper) ceramic barrel and I traded for a game. I LOVED the J&J. It was incrediably accurate and made my 98c sound like a BEAST. My friend enjoyed my AA too but he gladly took his J&J back. If you are going to buy a first after market barrel, I strongly recommend trying the J&J first. The AA is a nice barrel indeed, but for a starter barrel there are better deals for your money.
