They are available for most markers in 12", 14", and 16" lengths. The All American Barrels are made in two sections, a front and a back. The back of the barrel (the part that screws into the marker) is available in three bore sizes (small, standard, large). The front of the barrel (the ported section) acts as a spinning chamber. The air in front of the ball is pushed out of the holes reducing turbulence and the gases behind the ball are vented in such a way to impart a slight spin on the paintball. The All American barrel has a front section with a larger bore than the back. Fronts are available in two standard colors (black & green) and 7 splash colors (shown above).

Strengths:
This barrel is a great investment. Your accuracy and the distance of the paintballs is greatly increased. You will not be dissapointed. Good for any gun. Could be one of the best barrels out on the market. Its also pretty quite.
Weaknesses:
It was a little expensive but its performance makes up the cost! With my gun, i chop a lot and the paint would get in the porting.
Conclusion:
If you have some extra money laying around get this barrel. You will be happy with it. If you want to upgrade ur gun start with the barrel and go from there. Overall get this barrel, u wont be dissapointed!

Strengths:
this barrel is deadly accurate, i made a target with a 2 inch center and hit it easily and consitently from about 50 feet with no arc. Its quite, the only thing i could really hear was the bolt whenever i fired it, and its light, comparable to a dye ultralight.
Weaknesses:
The barrel backs were only available in black though the fronts have a variety of color options, which disapointed me cuz i was thinking of getting an all green barrel, but its no big deal, i just got an all black barrel, doesnt look bad.
Conclusion:
A great barrel i think. When i tested my friends ultralight, a ball had broken before i tried it and the shots were curving everywhere so i cant really make a comparison. Its a hell of a lot more accurate than the tippmann stock barrel though

This barrel is awesome! I got it at my local paintball shop which is bcbg paintball and it was only 69 dollars. After i got it out on the field i would have paid 500 for it. I was hitting people from over 50 to 60 yards away. This barrel adds so much accuracy and some range but not as much as some of the other barrels. If you want a barrel that has awesome accuracy and pretty good range get this one
Weaknesses:
I havent had anything bad with it yet i dont know how it is to clean after a break or if it can shoot through one b/c i have shot a good 5000 balls with my new gun and it hasnt broken one yet. I shot about 1000 through the barrel and none broke so as far as I know there is nothing bad about this barrel
Conclusion:
IF you have the money go out and buy this barrel. it will make a way better player but if it doesnt shoot awesome at first then it is probably b/c your paintballs dont match the size so get some jt maxims cuz they fit it perfectly and my friend got the same barrel and his marbilizers worked good in it also

ummm...i havent had a problem with any so far. But if i had to pick i would say Marbs or jt....but i mostly use big ball...so...its up to you?
Strengths:
The new AA is a big improvement over the old one. Its alot lighter, quieter, and more accurate and its a 2-peice. I play with the freak Jr. and the AA but my over all choice is the AA. sure if you had all of the inserts for the Jr. then it would kick...but whose gonna drop $35.00(canadian)each. for an insert? not me... thats why i decided to go with the AA its much better than the Jr. with only one insert and for the same price as the Freal jr. i think your getting a better deal. I have shot about a case and a half through it, and yet to brake a ball!!! thats pretty good in my opinion?

My over all conclusion, smart parts the company is one of the most recognized if not the most recognized companies in the sport, you dont get that good selling crap! if you looking for a good barrel and dont mind spending a little bit more for performance, then i suggest getting this .Its is just short of perfect in my opinion, the new AA is the POO......Just take a big wiff!!!!!!!....

Min'es i think either a 2000 or a'99 it's a one piece but still shoots brass e's only about a half inch apart from 50 ft. i love it, it looks so bad-... it's crazy. and cleaning the porting is no prob at all, just warm water in a 20 oz. bottle of pop, shake, and your done.

buy it, then send it to me since theonly thing i could want more is a 2002 but i'm content with mine
and when the other posters said it occaisionally "chops" balls, the barrel has nothing to do with "chopping" < occurs when the bolt fires and the ball is not fully into the chamber so "chopping" is operator error not the barrrel. buy it

I upgraded the barrel on my maverick before upgrading to the All American. the all American is a drastic difference.

This barrel is the best barrel your ever gunna buy. I swear. 7/8's of an orgasm every shot!!! It is accurate as hell, the range is unbelievable. Some say teh portings hard to clean, but running under warm water works fine. BUY THIS BARREL.

For some producs, like this one, this column is totally unneccisary.

The only bad thing about this barrel is that you probably dont have one.

there is honestley nothing wrong with this barrel it is a proven classic and is still one of the beat barrels on the market
Conclusion:
any one looking for superb honing a great looking barrel and wants to shoot people from 150ft away this barrel is for you. (And if you want superior accuracy go with the jt maxim paintballs i have tried them with my gun and it doesnt get any better than them.)

Strengths:
The first time I used the barrell I almost fell over at how far the darn ball went. Easily above 150 ft. The versatility of the barrell is its strongest suit. You can add Freak fronts or other AA fronts. You can swap out the back to use for different markers. That flexibility for only $75.
I really didn't notice how loud the barrell was and that's probably a good thing.
Then there is the accuracy. Every review in this thread are speaking the gospel truth. You become an instrument of destruction. Its simply that amazing.
Weaknesses:
Make sure to match the right size paint to the barrell. Getting freak inserts should help.
Conclusion:
Performance, precision, power. Need I say more?
The rest of this garbage is due to the silly requirement of creating 100 words to describe a product that can be done in much less. But I guess this requirement is necessary to fully allow a product to be reviewed. How helpful would a review be if all it said was "awesome", "incredible" ,& "surf's up dude". Really, the energy taken to construct this mindless psycho babble is is better utilized out on the range practicing the skills to ensure my ability to become a master marksman, and the master of your domain.

Strengths:
Well the part i like most is that you can put a freak front on this barrel to make it even better. Other than that this is the most accurate brrel i have ever used. I love it so much i would trade my gun just to keep it. It shines so brilliantly.
Weaknesses:
It is alittle louder than i expected it would be. Hopfully the freak front will take care of that.
Conclusion:
Get this barrel. It is the most amazing barrel there is. You are razy if you dont get it. God i love it. I think i am going to go shoot it right now. goodbye.
