Strengths: This barrel is very accurate and good at long range. I bought a used Tippmann for my stepson and it came with the Armson. With the Armson that gun shoots at least as well as my Automag with Boomstick. We even had a target shooting contest at around 40 feet. Both guns were pretty accurate but considering the overall price of the Tippman with the Armson compared to my Mag that gun is a steal.
Weaknesses: This barrel hates cheap paint. The first time we played we used cheap paint and the Armson broke one out of three shots. At the time I was convinced it was the worst barrel ever! I decided to give it another chance and bought Marbilizers. In a full day of playing he didn't break one ball and was getting some amazing eliminations. I'm just glad circumstances didn't give him a chance to go head to head with me. It would be embarassing for my Automag with Boomstick and HPA to be eliminated by a used $200 gun with CO2!!
Conclusion: Buy this barrel if you are willing to spend some money on paint. I still grumble as I'm buying Marbilizers at $65 a case. While the Armson is at least as accurate as the Boomstick I still prefer the Boomstick as it is more forgiving on paint.

Strengths: * Looks cool (Personal taste and preference)
* It is extremely accurate
* Silent
* Lightwieght
* Rifling
I've had this barrel for a good while now and I've shot Diablo Blaze, PMI premium, Marbs, Zap and ProBall out of this barrel.
Weaknesses: * Small bore... well it isn't really bad but if you don't have acces to marbs or proball or any type of small bore paint then your sort of screwed.
* Brakes paint... only when you use the wrong type of paint on this barrel
Conclusion: I've had agreat experience with this barrel. I submited a review a while back on this barrel andI didn't like it but now I have found the right type of paint and I'm back to correct my mistake. This barrel is incredibly accurate. I was using ProBall and Marbs and I was getting in some pretty good shots thru some really small holes in some of the bunkers at the field I own. It quiets my tippy down a bit but then again the model 98 custom is really loud. Sound isn't a problem, I hate snipers and I never plan to be one, uhless it's an ambush. Ok sorry back to the point, this barrel is accurate, quiet and is the only one with internal spiraled rifling. Get it, love it, good

Strengths: I own a Tippman 98 custom, and really like this gun. The one thing that I did not like was the stock barrel. This barrel had good accuracy, close range, but dont expect to shoot any distance. I experimented with a tippman flatlilne, which I did not like. I then shot a Smart Parts Big Daddy, and was happy with the performance it had, until I looked at its price. Well, I did some searching, and found some nice reviews on this Armson Stealth Barrel. Although I did not shot one before, I decided to pay the $70 and purchase one. I did not go wrong. This barrel is FANTASTIC ! It shot with great accuracy, and it gave me the range that I wanted. I no longer have to shoot and pray with the long shots, I attempt a long shot, and I know that I have a real good percentage on hitting that target. It is well worth the money that I paid. As for cleaning it, I really dont have to worry about that, I have not broken a ball.
Weaknesses: A little heavy, and not as silent as some of the reviews that I had read.
Conclusion: This was a 16" barrel, used on a Tippman 98 Custom. I ran all kinds of paint through it and did not see any real change. Actually, I seen better results using winchester paint compared to RP, or 32* that I usually shoot. I would highly reccomend this barrel to anyone.

Strengths: I am writing this review once again because this barrel’s performance is incredible.It works better than my friends 14in. JJ 2 piece, as his paintballs drop harmlessly I caneasily reach and eliminate him. The accuracy and range is incredible at whatever I aim at, i finished off the rest of my nelson challanger, as I said in my other review it is a large bore size, I was also using red proballs, and the performance was great with the proballs as with the nelsons however the proballs were still much more accurate due to their small bore size. In a recent battle I had some incredible shots, I shot my one friend from about 40 yards away with one single shot, and in another battle I hit the same person from about 25 yards away twice in the mask and 4 times in the torso. Also, I got my other friend out,who has an 16 in. armson stealth on an XTS, by shooting him through brush then as he tried running away I hit him several other times from 15 yards. I was informed I got him 12 times, and you can imagine he was covered in paint, only though about 7 broke. In
another battle I got him out twice in the mask in two different battles when he was our only opposition. My other friend was about 5 yards away with me in a fire fight when I hit hit in the wrist as he ran, and another friend I got out by hitting him directly in the head from about 15 yards with a proball(ouch), then as I could see that the ball didnt break and he was still in, i hit him in the side. Another friend was left oblivious to where I was as I tagged him directly in the shoulder from 15 yards in one shot. The only time I got out was when I shot over at an unsuspecting friend from about 40 yards away, as he immediately
said “im out...wait nevermind it didnt break” even though he should’ve gone out he stayed in anyway, and in a few minutes I was hit 6 times in the back by my friend with his armson and XTS, I now realized what it was like to be hit by that barrel, the only thing you can hear is the paintballs hitting you or whizzing past you. Almost every time I aimed at my target I had confidence I would hit my opponent, unless they were several yards away or behind a lot of brush. This barrel doesnt have a lot of ball breaks either, one of 300 in an entire day
of gaming, which is superb. You also save paint because of the great accuracy.

Weaknesses: The only thing that I can point out is that its hard to clean, bringing an extra stock or any other type of backup barrel will help if you get a lot of breaks.
Conclusion: I really like this barrel I must say, it can be for the pros or even beginners,
even the price is great for the performance, the only thing I can recommend is bringing an extra barrel, and if thats too much trouble buy armson barrel cleaner and/or teflon spray. My spyder compact 2000 w/ex chamber works exelent with this barrel, as does my friend’s XTS with this barrel, although he had a few more ball breaks even using diablo visible impact. Buying an ex. chamber, anti-syphon, or a regulator( that prevents liquid CO2 to enter the gun) can fix that problem as CO2 tends to cause a lot of ball breaks. My proballs work incredibly well as I would recommend buying them for this barrel, even though nelson or any other decent quality paint works well. Two of my friends, one of which has a model 98 the other has a spyder 2000, will be both purchasing these barrels, I will inform everyone of the performace on their guns. I recommend purchasing this barrel you wont regret it!

Strengths: The barrel is the best!! To me, the barrel is the bomb! It looks awesome, the rifling is sweet, the balls are a lot more accurate, it shoots straight, and i dont know what you guys are talking about! I have used nel splat paint and team colors and so far 1 ball has broken! OUT OF 4000! I don't know if it is the tippman but my tippmann has only broken four ball and i have had it for a year! So I recommend this barrel to people that wants to shoot straight, more accurate, and looks cool!
Weaknesses: Nothing at all!! The only problem is the cleaning because of the rifling but no problem for me! If your desperate then just run water the the middle and it will clean it out so easily instead of using a squeegee!
Conclusion: My conlusion is that the barrel is the best and people with tippmans should buy it!

Strengths: Deadly accuracy
looks cool
Makes other barrels look like a waste of raw materials
Weaknesses: It's a little heavy
It's a bit long too
Conclusion: I have the 16 incher on the end of my 98 custom and I am a force to be reckoned with. I hate bragging but in the last game I played I had 4 extremely good 1 shot 1 hit's. It's just an awesome feeling picking people off like that. The barrel is alittle heavy and since I have it on the end of a 98 wich is a fairly heavy gun as well. That was kinda my bad buying the heaviest stuff they make.
I've shot 3000 rounds of a combination of marbs and diablo's through it and havn't broke any paint yet. I think this barrel is worth the money, it is the best upgrade i've done to my gun. I can put the balls one on top of the other.

Strengths: -Nice accuracy and range (espically with small bore paint). You'll be a killer on the speedball field.
-Looks cool. (People see it on your gun and say "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!?")
-Light weight (won't make a small gun topheavy.)
-Can take a fairly good beating without bending or warping like some aluminium barrels do.
-VERY quiet espically with the right gun and bolt. They won't know what hit em!
Weaknesses: -The price. Shop around and you'll probably be able to pick one up for $60 at the least. I got mine on Ebay for $55.
-Hates crappy paint. If you use bad paint a lot then this barrel isn't for you. Hellfire works EXTREMELY well with it (when I've got the money for Hellfire) but normally I use PMI. PMI balls seem to work rather good with this barrel, though. Haven had a ball break yet out of 200 rounds of PMI.
-Dear God is this thing can be tricky to clean! Once you get used to cleaning it in game its not a problem. You just have to learn how to since you have to go about cleaning it a little differently than most barrels.
-I don't know whats up with this, but sometimes the barrel becomes a little loose after long play. Not really a problem though. Just check your marker before each game (like you should be doing anyway!)
Conclusion: If you can get one for cheap, go for it. $90 is a little high for one, though. If you can, try to get the 14" rather than the 16". Longer doesn't necessairly mean better.

Overall its a great barrel. I've heard a lot of people complain about these barrels not working well with Spyders. Guess what? I've got a Compact 2000 and a Spyder 2000 and it works well on both of them. I even put it on my friend's Shutter (which I think sucks as a marker) with the same results. Perhaps its the crappy Spyder stock bolts breaking the balls and not the barrel itself.

Overall, this is one of the best barrels you can buy for sneaking arond in brush and picking off people. DYE's are nice but too loud for this sort of play (not to mention a lot more expensive). I don't know how it shoots in cold weather as compared to a J&J ceramic although at normal temps it shoots about the same but quieter.

Strengths: work great!-shoots good.
looks great - 16' of pure terror
Weaknesses: I looks like it would be harder to clean - it wasn't. maybe if i didn't treat it with teflon spray oil it would be.
Conclusion: I use it with a rebel. I'm now death on two feet.
I dose require me to treat the barrel with teflon oil but I done that with all the other barrel I use.
- I use Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant with teflon. It comes in a spray can at the hardware store. I pretreat my barrels
if I have a break I:
1. squeege once or dry fire two or three times to clear most of the paint
2. spray with oil
3. dryfire two or three times.
takes about 30 sec. good as new.
