The SCM is the first pressure compensating, balance regulator built as an LPR for paintball markers. The new SCM regulator is built as a modular design so it can be configured for the Excalibur/Viking, AutoCocker, and Matrix. The SCM has a tremendous air flow, super-fast response time, and very tight output consistency.
The AKA SCM Regulator is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Easy to Adjust LPR
Sometimes, it wont fit your marker, gotta send it to AKA to fix it.
Well, where do I begin, this LPR is amazing, one of AKA's Finest. I have an SCM III on my Promaster, and this thing is amazing. It DELIVERS, and does what it says it would. It allows me to shoot 20+Bps with no problem at all, the design is Sleek as well, and it will look great on your Promaster [especially if you got a silver one].
Buy it, I got mine used, and I am amazed by thing thing.
After a short break-in period, it is very consistent and I have not detected any shootdown so far. With my setup, I'm getting +-2fps with a proper paint to barrel match and when I have the HPR and LPR sweet-spotted.
I have not noticed any creeping.
Excellent product. The micro rock and the SCM 3 are on equal grounds as far as consistency and recharge rate goes.

AKA makes the best products mainly their regulators...I got this in replace of my PBC lpr...the AKA Soda Can Mod 3 is the newest one out from AKA...It came preset from AKA at 72 psi...just remove your old one and screw this one in...self compensating low pressure regulator.
I recommend this to someone looking to upgrade their stock lpr...very consistent and only cost $50...AKA are known as the Low Pressure Expert for a reason...

impulse vision, sp ti bolt pin+voodoo bolt, aka sidewinder, scm reg w/ lpr set up by adrenalin, twister feed tube, 10" freak kit, nd silk shot ram/mid-wieght hammer/ram housing, fangz ball dentz, smart grips, preditory frame w/ blade, maxflo 68ci-4.5k
The best lpr in the world period
Since i now costs 50-60$, there are none
I origenally bought this when it first came out, and so it was quite expensive. Now since the price has gone down, it is undeniably unbeatable. This lpr is the only lpr that compensates for different inputs, and can keep a steal output, even if the input changes. all other lprs' output's change if their inputs change, but like inline regs, or tank regs, the SCM lpr self adjusts to keep a steady output.
Best lpr for any gun. The fact that it is pressure compensating means that if you reg ever spikes, for what ever reason, the SCM lpr will prevent your solenoid/3-way from blowing, saving you time, money, and that pissed off feeling we all get when our guns ever break. this product flat out has no weeknesses, and i can very safely say it is the best in the world.
