The DYE Ultralite barrel is a popular favorite of the top pros today. The Ultralite is chosen for its all aluminum light weight advantage. It is also a very popular custom barrel because its aluminum construction offers the ability to be anodized to match any gun color. It is made with the same precision quality that you can expect from DYE as the leader in barrel manufacturing.
Product Availability
The Dye Ultralite 2-Piece is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Strengths: Accurate.....durable, can hit targets from soooo far away
Weaknesses: can scratch pretty easily, but that ok cause im back player
Review: This is a really good barrel, unless u do dirty work...like front players..u might , bang it up a little. Really good for back players...

Dye has done a good job once again.....

Price isnt too high either...compared to boomy...which is like heavier and more expensive...although it is more durable, ur choice
Conclusion: Get the barrel...it has done me well....its around $80 these days , unless u go ebay style..and get it for cheaper

Paintballs:
medium to small bore, big ball works for me.
Strengths: smooth bore, trusted name, quiet, light
Weaknesses: 2 piece! Actually only if you are an autococker user. scratches
Review: About the 2 piece: The front unscrews and the back stays inm you can get it out but it isn't as easy as the old glued together version. With this I got better groupings, like 2-4 in, it quieted it down from the stock, which isn't that difficult :-) Since it is aluminum it makes it a hella lot lighter than stainless steel but a lot easier to scratch not that bad but a rough squeeg could damage the inside.
Conclusion: Good barrel, kinda expensive, but good for your money, I give it an 8. If you want quiet and low weight but lose some durability go for it. Not really recommended for you woods 'ballers, but your choice.
