This gun is a very inexpensive gun. It is a great "starter gun" and a good introduction to paintball. The performance of the gun is also good. Ones I have used always were reliable, shot straight, and had good range.
Weaknesses:
In my opinion you couldn't complain about any bad points with this gun for the price.
Conclusion:
Overall I think this is an excellent gun for anyone interested in "exploring" paintball. I think it would be a very wise investment for someone who is interested, but not sure if they would like to play paintball, to purchase one of these guns. I think it would also be better, and most would agree, than spending hundreds on a gun that will not be used.
Don't let the price fool you. This is an excellent gun for the price concious consumer. It's cheap, it's accurate, and it's cheap! I haven't experienced many problems aside from the occasional ball break... But for $30? Who's complaining? It's better than a Stingray 2, I can tell you that right now.
Weaknesses:
It won't shoot as far as say, a Raptor, but makes up for this deficiency with good accuracy.
This gun is an excellent starter for anyone not quite sure
if they want to invest hundreds of dollars into paintball
supplies. My Talon is the most accurate gun I've ever shot
(ive never held anything higher than my F4 TP), and works
well for any beginner, with very little maintainence.
Weaknesses:
For what it costs, basically nothing. I bought 2 talons 3
years ago and one of them became leaky, so i retired it.
Conclusion:
I would recommend this gun to anyone just looking to try
out paintball. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who
plans on frequently playing the game, but for the price,
this gun is good.
