Midnight Paintballs are designed for the cost-conscious recreational player. The "Midnight" Jet-Black shell is formulated to accommodate high pressure guns (300 PSI +) with a fill that is comparable to Blaze paintballs.
Product Availability
The Diablo Midnight Paintballs are newer, so they should be commonly available.

Big Balls, (like your moms hehe!!), and 32 degrees team color's
Marker Setup:
Gt Commando 2, Smart Parts teardrop barrell, quick disconnect remote line, regular hopper, 16 oz. CO2, and a brand new regulator i haven't put in yet!!
Recommended Barrels:
the Smart Parts (anyone of them) teardrop or 32 terminator barrell
Strengths:
They are all relatively spherical and they look cool when you buy them in that box. They are semi-accurate and don't break nearly as much as the 32 compition balls
Weaknesses:
they smell............... or wait that was me!!!
Conclusion:
10 rating on price *to* performance scale
but a 8 performance wise
I went to Wisconsin for a scenario game and forgot my damn team colors , so i was stuck buying a field case of midnights. They worked fine for about 20 shots then i broke 1. and after that i broke every 2 shots , i had to completely strip my gun and clean it it was so paint filled. I had to end up buying some premiums from a guy at the field and throwing about 1k rounds away. It almost ruined my day , i will never buy diablo paint again , period.
Conclusion:
I heard they have a thin shell so it breaks on contact, thats BS. I use bigball at low low fps and it breaks fine, all diablo thin shell does is screw your gun.
you might not believe this, but this is just about the best paint i have ever used. it breaks on target, flies accurate, and it's cheap. i like them better than marbs. my store gets fresh batches, so there are no dimples. everyone in my town shoots this stuff.
Weaknesses:
nothing
Conclusion:
awesome paint for the money. don't let the overall rating fool you. If you get a nw batch of this stuff, you will be hooked.
Excellent paintballs break easy but not in your gun give it a 10 love em and the box kinda looks cool pertty cheap were i come from and ill try to use them for a while.
Weaknesses:
This isnt really bad just my mistake. one day i had a full hopper of these and was on my deck the hopper lid wasnt shut all the way it spilled they all broke had to house my deck and the paint stayed on very good i was new then and was to worried about trying to get it off to realise god this is good paint tryed it in my cheap stingeray not one broke and they shoot accuret for i while i thought my gun was the best lol then i switch and it hit me this gun sucks.
Conclusion:
Get them good price break good acuret if there was a 11 id pick that.
tippman c98:rt trigger, expansion chamber,12v VL revolution hopper,14 inch Taso Stone Cold 2 barrel, hyper star bolt and a 20 ouce co2(gun is accurate as hell)
Recommended Barrels:
stone cold 2 and any barrel they usually dont break in your barrel
Strengths:
great paintballs
never break in your barrel
always brek on the other team
great fill
shoot very accurate and are almost never mishaped
Weaknesses:
nothin really, every once in a while you'll get a ball break but lmost never
Conclusion:
great paintballs, some of the best iv ever used and they are very cheap too,50 for 2000,go out and buy them now great paintballs!
PMI Premium, RP Marbs, Bullseye, ProBalls, Zap, Blaze
Marker Setup:
2k Cocker, Chrome ANS Pneumatic, P&P Front Block, ERGO Reg, Dye Titanium Barrel, Nickel Lightning Bolt, Shocktech Chrome trigger frame, MadMan Springs, Shocktech Back Block, Shocktech SpyGlass, Kapp DZ II Cradle, Nitro Duck 68/3K
Recommended Barrels:
Small bore or .682 on your Freak System
Strengths:
Breaks on contact
Straight flight
Good fill
Relatively Cheap per case
No ball breakage in barrel
Weaknesses:
Small bore, i mean really small sometimes. Very inconsistant ball size which can be a pain as far as consistant shot for shot.
Conclusion:
I think the Midnights are probably made from the same run as the Blazes because of the inconsistant ball sizes. This is suppose to be a medium bore paint?? i couldn't even keep them in my AutoSpirit barrel. But the nill ball breakage was a plus.
I've tried PMI/RP Scherer/JT (whatever brand it is) Big Ball, and Diablo-Midnight
Marker Setup:
Tippmann Model 98 Custom, all stock!
Recommended Barrels:
only used the "crappy", Tippmann 8.5" barrel... (they won't let me say the other word that describes 'crap', sorry pbreview.com)
Strengths:
I've used 3 cases of this paint, and I really can't think of anything good to say about it.
Weaknesses:
I've had balls brake in the barrel, bolt, and in the hopper(twice, on the same day). After careful evaluation of these paintballs, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you NOT BUY THESE PAINTBALLS!!!!
Conclusion:
I can't emphasize it enough. This paint sucks. Try the Venom or JT marbuelizer paintballs.... not midnight
blaze, hellfire, inferno, BE, superswirl, view loader, nelson, old school proballs,
32 degrese team colors and kickin'.
Marker Setup:
i run my mag w/ a 12" J&J ceramic barrel, 9 volt revy, and 20oz anti siphon co2 tank and on occasion my bro's 114ci, 4500 psi turbo max system
Recommended Barrels:
12" J&J ceramic
Strengths:
accurate, break easily on impact, fly well, consistantly round, and cheap $50 / 2000 rounds
Weaknesses:
havn't found any, they're my favorite paint besides old school proballs. anyone who has been playing for a while kno's what i mean, today's proballs have gone down the tubes.
Conclusion:
great paint, espesially for the rec player and cost conscious polayer.
