Review:
I have used several of these along with some other players in our club and we all got these dirt cheap at Wal Mart and thought we would give them a try. Well, after several thousand of these being shot , the conclusion by me is that they are very inaccurate. I haven't had but a couple break in the barrel, which is the only ball breaks I have ever had in my Tippmann, but they fly like crap. The only good thing on the accuracy part is that you can fly these around trees and stuff, sort of like a boomerang....LOL. We got these for $10 / 1500 on clearance sale and that is about what they are worth......
Conclusion:
Buy if on clearance sale, if not, spend a couple extra bucks and get some decent paint. Be careful not to shoot yourself when they come curving back at you.....LOL
big ball : slightly better breaking on target not as nice a fill
blue streak :worse ..bounces and blue jello fill
pmi super swirl : I think I got a bad batch multiple barrel brakes ok fill crappy snot color
very bright fill breaks on target not in barrel nice carry case
Weaknesses:
slight fishy smell to the shells, some dimples, PRICE!
Review:
I got a 3/4 case of these at wal-mart for 25 bucks just to try out. they flew about the same as big ball in my stock barrel. (still about a 2 foot spread at 50 feet since it's stock ugh!) but they work great as a rec ball a few days later they droped down to 7 bucks!! so I bought 5 more the cases are worth that! even at full price they're 3X the quality of blue streaks and about half the price.
Conclusion:
I'm basing my rating on the regular price because not everyone will be lucky enough to find these that cheap (if they were always $7 a case they'd get a 9)
a bit cheaper than big ball and nicer fill a little small but they fly further
This is the paint you've been seeing in those 1500rd cases. I've seen them at our shop, and Walmart. It's red shell, pink fill. Although the paint isn't brittal or early breaks on people at a distance it doesn't break in the barrel. I like the paint for close ranges, and for lobbing but for distance shots it becomes a bouncer ball
Conclusion:
good paint for the money, and comes in a
hard case you can use for a gear box when
your out of paint
I got it at walmart for 25$ for 1500.It comes in a hard case.
Weaknesses:
none
