impulse with evil valve, hammer and bolt. Low pressure reg on front cap with tape worm.

this is a decent valve for a good price. Only real problem to be had with this is that the spring that closes the valve after the hammer hits it some times slips off its spot on the valve. This will leave you with a gun that is just venting air down the barrel and requires opening the gun to fix. Other than that, this is a defenant upgrade from the stock valve.
Conclusion:
Worth a look at, but may be better products out there.

this is a good valve only if you are going to do one of two things to your impulse: install an evil Resporator, or install hp lpr set up. To do either of those setups correctly, you must remove the prv on the asa or maxflo and replace the grub screw on the back of the impulse with it (this may void your warrenty though). then install the lpr or resperator like you would any other lpr. when you gas the gun up, set the input from the maxflo/inline to 250+/-psi and lower the dwell alot 6 beeps, and then lower the lpr untill the gun shoots 280fps. those two things are the only ways one will acheive the full potencial of this valve. you cannot use the valve for lp because it lowers the volume of the valve cap to almost 0ccm and due to that you will get shoot down and inconsistant velocities.
the all around positive thing about this valve is that it is zero maintenence, unlike the stock one (no o-rings, yah!).
Conclusion:
good valve, but only for hp. might want to just buy a rip valve for same price and just get a better all valve. oh yah, the evil valve also didn't come with instructions how to install it, even though it's easy to install.
