The Mercury bolt is the lightest bolt on the market, made entirely of delrin, weighing in at a mere 1.6 ounces. Lighter bolt equals a higher rate of acheivable fire. Testing side by side with other bolts has also proven the effiency of the FBM Mercury bolt. The tests showed that swapping out other aftermarket bolts for the Mercury boosted the FPS by 10-15 instantly.

I ordered this bolt online, direct from FBM when I saw it was only $19.99 (around $25 w/ shipping). It was shipped promptly and arrived within a week. So far, I was very pleased with the price and prompt delivery. Things were going good.
Then I put the bolt in and immediately noticed the slop in the fit. When I took it out to the field, I took both my stock bolt and the FBM to the chrono station. Boy, what a rude awakening. With the stock bolt, before adjusting velocity I was shooting consistently at 300 fps (+/- 5). I then put the FBM bolt in, my fps dropped to 265. I shot several shots to see if their was much fluncuation and got readings anywhere from 245 to 272. I ended up using it that day, to see how it performed in use... and was less than satisfied. Didn't break any balls, is about all I can say positive about the performance.
I've already got a new WGP bolt on order with my local Pro Shop.
Conclusion:
If you get a good fit... this is a nice bolt. Its extremely light (1.6 oz) and well-milled (includes milling for ball detent). However, the only place I've seen them is direct from FBM, which means you can't check the fit before purchase. For $25 though, I can't complain that it broke the bank.

I have shot the Shocktech bolt on my brother's 04 prostock from time to time and have really liked it. But when I was building my autococker I was kinda streched for cash. The FBM bolt had been suggested to me by a friend and I decided to check it out. I figured that it would cost around $50 but was surprised when I saw the price, $31 shipped. I decided to take a chance on it because it was so cheap and have never regretted it. Its a great bolt that I would put in an electro cocker. The only thing that might possibly be better is the carbon fiber bolt, but that's compairing $70 to $30.
Conclusion:
Buy it over the more expensive supa fly and you won't be disappointed. I don't necessarily like the looks of it but the performance is flawless. 9.5 rounded to 10

Review:
This is a great bolt, one of the best for an autococker, it gives u at least 5 more bps, and never needs to be lubed. This bolt also makes the cocker so quite. The price is incredible considering some bolts that arent as good are $60-80. Fireball Mountains makes great stuff. Get this bolt!
Conclusion:
I highly recomend this bolt for any cocker user.
