The X2 Inline Regulator is a two piece regulator. The top is machined 6061(T6) anodized aluminum, and the bottom is stainless steel which is polished to a high luster. The X2 is the highest flow regulator on the market, keeping up with any markers need for air. It also has the easiest to use Quick Twist, moon cut pressure knob with tournament lock down screws. Plus, we have provided a micro gauge for quick read of the output pressure. A complete rebuild kit is also included.
Product Availability
The ANS X2 Inline Regulator is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

Strengths: Eeasy to adjust
looks good
Weaknesses: Really nothing except maybe the intruding gauge. (Maybe)
Review: The regulator is very nice. Besides being asthetically pleasing it performs exceptionally well. The ease of use is unbelievable. Simply loosen the screws at the bottom adjust the reg by turning the knob and lock the screws down and you're done. The guage may get in your way at first but you get use to it after a while.
Conclusion: Excellent regulator. Does its job very well.

Marker Setup: Aim 18+ Cocker, Ans x-2, Throttle, Revy, and my beloved E2
Strengths: ULTRA CONSISTENT, easily adjusted, looks good
Weaknesses: SLIGHTLY heavy, but doesnt matter, big knob on bottom, read body
Review: This is the best reg ive used, its very consistent, as ive said, and its overall very good. Ive used it for over a year, and i have not had one problem. The only real weakness, is that i wish the line out to the gun was at the bottom of the reg, it just makes more sense, so sometimes the macro line gets in my way, and its a bit annoying after a few hours, but it doesnt mess up my game at all.
Conclusion: This is a superior regulator, and i would highly recomend it to any paintball player, im a tourny player, and this reg has never let me down, even at 20+ bps, and no more than +/- 3-4 psi on the chrono.

Strengths: Multiple guage and imput setups.
Good finish
Easy to adjust
Weaknesses: As you adjust it higher the knob gets hard to turn
Review: I just purchased my cocker and it came with this reg. the biggest plus to this reg has to be its multiple threads for placing your guage and imput line wherever you want it. there are two places for your guage and 3 for imputs. this makes the reg. very customisable for use be left or right hand players. I don't know if it is just mine needing a rebuild or if its normal, but as the knob is adjusted to raise the pressure it gets harder and harder to turn(even with no pressure). thats something that i will check into. overall i am very happy with this reg and i do not have any plans of changing it anytime soon.
Conclusion: Buy one if you need a reg! it is avaliable in several color's and tends to match very nicely to most guns.

good consistancy
Weaknesses: Just one
Review: Ill be honest the main reason i picked this is because it looks good with my gun...and carlos at pb wiz recomended it. From what i have seen so far it is great. I really like how adjustable this is. I use it to adjust the velocity on my gun. rather that the rex dialer from my nexus kit. The Input holes on each side reely let me choose where i put my macro line. The only problem i have is not reely a problem. it wil not go all the way into my gun it is about 1/4-1/8 way down but the o ring creates a great seal no leaking at all. On the chrono it is good....not the best but good. It is definitly an improvement over the stock.
Conclusion: If it goes with your gun or you want somehting VERY adjustable id say get it. If not there are plenty more out there. Some are better.

Stock Angel regulator, AIM68, and Black Magic.
Used Spyder regulator, but does not even compare.
Marker Setup: Angel Eclipse LED
ZIP Chip, Halo B w/ victory board, Dye Boomstick (don't really like), AIM68, bunch of other stuff.
Strengths: Best adjustment around
Locks tight
Quite consistent
Looks good
Fast Recharge
Weaknesses: Could be more consistent
Review: About as good as my AIM68, I will really know how consistent it is at the chrono, which I have yet to test. Two piece body seals very good, many hose attachment points, accepts gauges in two different spots, and my favorite thing is being able to adjust it with the knob on the bottom, makes it very easy. One of the best I have tested, Black Magic might still be better, but it doesn't have the easy adjustment and the gauge port that reads regulated psi, not tank psi like the Black Magic does. A bit expensive, but it came with my gun, and I ended up getting the AIM68 anways. A slightly different grip, which after a couple games I did not even notice.
Conclusion: Rather expensive but one of the better regs I have used. I prefer the AIM68 because it matches my guns milling, and the grip is better, but otherwise shoot bascially the same. For those who are looking for a great upgrade, get a regulator, not an expansion chamber...read why at www.Ottersccustoms.com
